Making a DRAGON head/skull carving out of a POPSICLE STICK | DIY

  • WHEW!! Well, this one took a LOT longer than I expected!
For this video, I wanted to see what I could make with a single popsicle stick. I'm not sure why I landed on a dragon skull (ice dragon, if I'm being specific), but I did. Maybe it's my attempt to tide me over while I impatiently wait for the final season of Game of Thrones. Either way... it was a fun project!
I liked the idea and challenge of only using ONE popsicle stick, to try and see how much detail I could squeeze out of it.
Ok, cut and carve out of it 🙂
I've always enjoyed using craft blades to create things, so Idefinitely got my fix with this one!
    TOOLS/MATERIALS:
    White Birch wood popsicle stick
    220 grit sandpaper
    Acrylic craft paint
    X-acto blade
    Dremmel
Water-based varnish MIXED with (aqua blue) strontium aluminate for the "glow in the dark"

@@JamesGarwood Thank you! I'm using hitfilm express currently, since it's free. I'm still new to editing, these videos are all I've ever done.. so it takes me quite a while to edit. I think I spend more time editing than anything else lol

You can do it, it doesn't need to be exact! Switch it up a little, make it your own 🙂
