I've said it before and ill say it again. That ex boyfriend who told the police her plan is a hero. Not only did he save a life, but he put that witch in jail. Absolute legend
Guy was probably thinking, "Damn, that could have been me!"
He needs to buy that guy some beers!
I Agree. Instead of "SEE something, say something" It should be " KNOW something say something". the see something gets innocent people murdered, but know something gets to the real truth.
Gaming toast. He's dead.

Really? Applaud the guy who cheated on his wife and then marry the sl#t he cheated with? No thanks! I think there are much more deserving people out there that need applaud than this guy.
I had a second hand embarrassment from Dalia's acting 😂 knowing that the police officers already know
Same, I straight up had to pause and take off my headphones for a moment. 😂😂
Indeed. The split second full throttle crying was cringy as hell. But she more than deserved the embarrassment.

I love that the tv show cops was in town and the investigating police called them to film this 😂😂😂
I feel bad for his first wife. She stood by him through the hardest years of his life only to be tossed aside like garbage.
It happens to majority of us. I've seen it way to many times to even count. They leave us who literally are loyal, honest... I mean just ride or die for whatever whenever. For a giddy headed face painting, jack in the box who can't even cook clean or wash clothes. But the worse feeling is when we" made(make) them better just to run to the plastic surgery junkie.
Its why to be honest to commit to a dog or cat. They will always be with you and quite frankly are more loyal then any human.
And karma almost took his ass. I bet he regrets ever exchanging his first wife for this sociopath
Its like wolf of wall street
Mr ballen has the history of their meeting wrong.
He called a call girl up and she came to his office, dahlia was paid to sleep with him and Mike fell in love with her and left his wife for her.
Serious respect to the ex boyfriend for calling the police and respect to the police for actually acting on the tip and not just ignoring it like so many do
Yeah. Although not sure what she was thinking, exes probably aren't your best option if you want to do something illegal... (Especially if it's suuper illegal like murdering somebody.)

The biggest mistake Michael made in his life even worse than his criminal record was cheating on and divorcing his first wife. She stuck by his side during the dark days when he was in jail. She's definitely a keeper and I hope she found a better man.

I love the stories where the whole thing was a setup and no one got hurt, it happens so rarely but makes me happy
The best part of this story was realizing I already knew it but your storytelling is so good I couldn't tell
She did all that, tried to get the man murdered and she still expected him to come over and talk with her while in cuffs. The audacity…
The attempted murder was bad, but the AUDACITY.
If I were Michael and I saw her doing fr I’d just spit on her face, she betrayed him and she don’t deserve any love or anything
You should look up and listen to the phone call from jail she made to him and trying to manipulate him and trying to turn things on him and he just blew her off as he should
16 years for trying to end a man's life....she is the kind you put in a cell for eternity. That is evil, she is not the kind to change. She is going to screw someone when she gets out...
My thoughts exactly! True manipulator! I’m glad the judge didn’t go easy on her. He could’ve loss his life! 🤦🏾♀️
I think this is one of your best stories. No one was hurt, physically anyway, and the perpetrator got what she deserved. Yay, for the ex-boyfriend and the Boynton Beach police…great job!

Mr.Ballen thanks for getting to the point, given only pertinent and relevant information, in a sensible amount of time. I have stopped watching a few content creators because they are too long, too opinionated and some even get off topic. Man, you are excellent at this. I can watch an episode at every break I get. Thanks Bruh.
It’s crazy how some people can get caught red handed with unassailable evidence right in front of them, and still claim innocence.
These people are called psychopaths. This one here is a covert psycho as you can see on the recording of her faking emotions and her denying she was at fault. You can see these traits in just about every serial killer. Scary stuff 😬
Just like Amber Heard
Just like 45 😂 Fake news! 😂

Victimization is trendy. No accountability anymore. Reminds me of a group of people
I saw an interview with the cop that told her that her husband had been killed, and he said when she tried to lean into him for comfort, he was so disgusted he wouldn’t hug or console her and he held her away from him. 🤣🤦🏻♀️ she was definitely a piece of work! In court she said it was all a set up for a reality show and her husband was in on it too. Needless to say the jury didn’t believe that either.
I actually noticed that in the video just now. She kept leaning forward, and the cop was clearly uncomfortable. And it was so weird because she kept trying LOL
It would've taken everything in me not to slap her, lol. Guess that's why I'm not a cop.
How did he keep from laughing!? Lol. 😅
It was a reality show. She really messed up and in reality too. Now she's in part 2 of the show, which is called prison, a hell I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. She could have been on an alternate reality show called Happily Married, but greed made her end up in a terrible reality show. She destroyed her own happiness. That's the sad reality.
No amount of money can buy back the miserable year's she will waste in prison. Sadly, her parents will suffer too. They did nothing wrong and now will weep because they have a child in prison. The whole thing is awful.
Piece of work? She's a piece of garbage.

I remember watching this on true crime daily and let me tell you your story telling makes it so much better!!!!
I remember this case, it’s crazy how she tried to deflect everything on other people, especially after she was arrested and sentenced.
It’s crazy… cheaters/liars do the same thing. You’d think they’d just be like “ok you caught me” but they deflect and lie to the very end.
@DeszKDanny Licky
even worse is how she acted like she could've talked her way out of it like he was just going to forget she tried to fucking kill him
And the way she freaked out and was trying to get him to talk to her in the interrogation room was downright ridiculous. The man just found out you had a plot to kill him, "baby please talk to me" ain't gonna do shit at this point smh
I blame him. He divorced the woman who was by his side.
Things I like about Mr. Ballen:
1. He doesn't make me feel like saying, "C'mon get to the point." The unfolding story IS the point.
2. His ad reads come at a high point in the story like a proper commercial break.
3. He took "hit/smash the like button" to a whole new level. 😁

I remember seeing this case on Dateline, where Michael Dippolito himself told the story. JCS - Criminal Psychology. Best video on that channel, but Mr. Ballen still tells this story better and exciting. Masterclass of storytelling, putting the details and twists and turns at all the right places.
I don’t like that he adds details of telling people what someone is thinking when it’s completely untrue and made up. It’s obvious that his wife was not sitting there wondering who could’ve made the calls and where the drugs could’ve come from. There’s other stories where someone dies and he sits there and tells the story about how someone is thinking this or thinking that and then they die. There’s no way of possibly knowing what they were thinking. I understand it’s just to add drama to the story but it’s 100% factually incorrect.

The ex-boyfriend and the cops are definitely heroes in this strange situation. The ex-boyfriend is for immediately contacting police and the the cops are for using critical thinking and believing in Michael when they totally didn't have to.
I'm sure those officers were getting sick and tired of repeatedly having to search every square inch of Michael's property. When they finally found the candy they could of easily thrown the book at him since he was on probation and the officers had to of known if they just arrested him it would finally put an end to all the searches. But...
Nope, instead ruining Michael's life those cops used officer discretion and gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Only thing I didn't know or remember from the first time I heard this case was the bit about the "boiler room" schemes
You obviously know very little about this notorious case then, because in reality Mr Ballen got key facts WRONG, and entirely OMITTED many others!
It was the laziest, most inaccurate re-telling of this famous story ever. Watch any other RUclips report on it, and you'll get way more info - without Ballen's dumb mistakes! He actually claimed Dalia was a 'real estate agent' when they first met - I've never heart prostitution called that before! 🤣🤣🤣
They met because Michael Dippolito hired her as an escort - he was banging the skank behind his wife's back in his office. Old rubber lips saw he had money, so got her hooks into him. And he was dumb enough to dump his loyal wife for her, all 'cos of the sex (he paid for - and boy did he pay for it!)
And Mr Ballen said they "fell in love!" LMAO! 🤣🤣🤣
Wow man, im glad for the guy Mike that actually tried to turn his life around and didn't get killed. I'm also a convicted felon (Marijuana trafficking, 1999). That turned my life around when i was sitting in jail realizing that this was not the life i wanted to lead. The difference is i got myself into school and got a degree. Met a woman I've been married to for 19 years now. 2 kids, gainfully employed. law abiding individual. I got a second chance. So did this guy Mike. The fact he came so close to losing that because of some psycho made me realize how i could have too when i was my most vulnerable. Good on him, hope he's doing ok.
I just want to say, good for you for turning your life around! Its not easy, I know first hand. I have a similar story to you where I was put in jail (roughly ten years ago now) and having that experience made me realise that it was not the life I wanted for myself. I had a rough childhood where I was homeless and living on the streets and in refuges since I was 14 years old so I ended up getting mixed up with some bad people who were doing bad things. I had been arrested a couple of times before I was finally put in jail but going to jail was a real wake up call. I am glad that I was ultimately incarcerated because if I hadn't been, I really doubt whether I would have ever turned my life around! Sometimes rehabilitation in the form of a jail sentence really works and that was the case for me. I know it can be hard to turn your life around and I have seen many people attempt to do so unsuccessfully so again , good for you for being able to change your life for the better!
He came close to losing that bc he cheated on his wife and left her for a psycho who tired to kill him. Yeah it's called karma 😂

10x?! Lol man I thought I was obsessed lmao.. That's a lot of RUclips lol
I love it too. I can picture the timeline in my head when he does it sometimes I'm absolutely amazed at how short the chain of events were.
This was the best story yet!!
Very rare do I leave one of MrBallens videos with a big ole grin on my face. Justice was served and no one was harmed in doing so. Not only was no one harmed, but the perpetrator was caught so red handed, filmed, and made a huge laughing example of. This might have been one of the happiest endings to a video and the entire last 1/3 of the video I was actually getting excited to watch everything fall perfectly into place. Great video
I remember this case, the absolute audacity of this woman! There's more recordings of her talking to Mike and she is fully saying "Noo I didn't say that" when he says "you said you were 5000% sure!" . She just doubles down and denies it, completely gaslighting him and telling him he heard wrong when it's clear as fcking day.
Always applauded her ex for doing the right thing
I kept wanting the police to show her the body cam footage.
Yes I just commented about that I bet we watched the same documentary she’s crazy af to literally tell someone who seen proof that no it wasn’t her they are lying
Yeah, I remember this from Cops, and Signs of A Psychopath!
There’s the “Shaggy” defense 😂
16 years ??? She’s a danger to society she deserves a whole life sentence!
More like the death penalty.
Well, they never give women the same sentences that men get. What’s funny is that the “biased” jury actually did the right thing the first time, and gave her a proper sentence, only to have it reduced because they were biased in favor of women, like most juries, and they didn’t hold her as accountable as they would have held a man.
Intention is not as serious. It's just the way things go here. You have to die to get some semblance of justice and even then it's a crapshoot.
@@seansmith2797 this feels more like attempted a step past intention. She paid someone to do the deed. If it wasn't for the ex boyfriend the man would be dead. A bad man who turned his life around. Who prison acturally worked which is rare.
Only reason they cut it was due to her being a woman. Do you think they would have if it had been a guy who did this. Nope.
But here is the better question. How in the hell do women keep finding hitmen? I hear so many stories of women who do this not nearly as many for guys. Do they like advertize in cycling class or something? I am not looking for one. Just was always curious as to how women always seam to find them or undercover cops who are posing as them.
What is even worse she went to an ex to ask if he knew a hitman. Why did she think he would know one? Does this mean she tends to only date scumbags?
You underestimate how much prison can break you. One year would destroy your sanity so imagine 16
This is by far the funniest story from Mrballen, that’s actually so funny what cops did, top tier pranking
I remember this episode of cops! I also remember seeing this on Signs of A Psychopath!
We seriously need hour long videos from you, these 20 min ones just aren't enough. I could watch you tell stories all week long and never get tired. A true testiment to how good and enjoyable you are.

Awww, you missed the best part of this story: after Dalia's been booked and processed in jail, she gets her one phone call, and she phones Michael to yell at him and demand that he come down and fix everything. SHE ACTUALLY PHONED THE MAN SHE TRIED TO HAVE KILLED TO DEMAND HE GET HER OUT OF JAIL. Fortunately, he didn't, and when he refused she got even angrier, and he just let her wallow in her impotent rage. It's an amazing call to listen to.
That call is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever hear! Now I have to go find it & listen to it again! 😂

This is the first time ive heard this from mikes perspective, thank you i learned so much more about this case
We really need more "411 missing" stories!! Please Mr.Ballen!!!
Those were the best stories ever, I spent a couple of days only watching those videos, truly addictive!
Thumbs up please!!! so he sees it!
YES YES YES. THOSE STORIES ARE THE ONES THAT HOOKED ME. I HAVEN'T HEARD ONE LIKE THAT FOR SO LONG.
@dash AIDS has been around for the past 40 years
Yeah i loved his stories about people gone missing in the woods or monster sightings and stuff, now its good but just normal crime
I like the people places can’t go but went anyways
Me too! I love Mr B's storytelling but I long for the days when the stories were actually 'strange, dark and mysterious'. 🌹
I cannot believe that his story telling is so freaking good, especially with the backstory, that I didn't even realize until almost the end that this was a story I've seen on at least two other true crime shows. I literally was hanging on every word and never once thought, " huh, THIS sounds familiar ". HE'S THAT GOOD!!!!!
Right?! Me too!!! I saw the couple and was like, wow they are SO familiar! Why do I feel like I know them?? Then, later on, boom! Spectacular story telling, as always.
ruclips.net/video/Rf4SaRU2j7g/видео.html Finally it’s here,
SAME ive had that moment on quite a few stories, even the amazon killer one. Never a dull and boring story with mr ballen fr !
same! I thought, where have I seen the husbands face before.so familiar... yes. saw the story before. Always better hearing it from Mr Ballen
lol I knew what it was as soon as I saw the thumbnail
I've seen all the footage there is to find about this case. Her meeting up with the undercover policeman, the interrogation, the moment she arrived at the station and saw her husband there.. Everything. It's so fascinating and so evil. Props to the police for setting this whole thing up. 👏
I love how the cops were like "you know what we should do? Walk him right past the interrogation room😂"
This is the best version of this story I’ve ever heard.
Mike has had anything but an ordinary life. He’s beat all odds
Main character
I agree. I learned more from this video than the true crime videos I’ve watched on it.
@@bingonamo7520 He actively worked against to roll back on his life choices during the mafia and literally gave back all the money he stole? And cheating doesn't warrant attempts on his life? Sure he was scum before but he quite literally acted to give back what he stole from the people
@@fexbd I didn't notice the part where he gave back all the money sorry. I got bored with the video as I've heard this story several times before, so knew the outcome re his wife being caught.
@@bingonamo7520 Yeah its alright 😂 Happens to all of us
You forgot to add one of the best parts -- she called him from jail pleading for his help. She is one of the most sociopathic people I've ever read about but that call from jail was hilarious. She was getting upset with him because her plot to have him killed failed and now he wasn't helping her get out of jail. The phone call audio from when she was in jail is classic. Even though she was caught on video soliciting to have her husband killed, she kept denying that she ever did that despite the clear video evidence. The amount of mental gymnastics one would have to do to actually believe that is incomprehensible -- she really was crazy.
Exactly! This is how disconnected people with antisocial personality disorder are. They know what they did. They just think it's so unfair they pay the consequences for what they have done. I was unfortunately in a relationship with one and I'm lucky I'm alive. To this day he acts like the victim. He will deny till he dies as this psycho chick will.
Yeah...I've heard this story many times. I enjoyed the way he covered Mike's past to draw us in to the story and make it believable that someone else could have been framing him...but I wish he would have included that phone call..
The call was gaslighting at it’s finest esp when Dahlia was telling Mike “I SAW what you saw, & heard what YOU heard.… but I didn’t do it” 😂
He also forgot the part where she was manipulating him to put the condo in her name. It did go through right?
Shes a legit psycopath.
Dude you are a masterful storyteller. I've heard thus story many times but the way you told it, I had no clue it was this hit man case. Good work!
They flipped the script beautifully, most satisfying ending from a crime story ever.
I'm 5000% sure Mr Ballen is the greatest storyteller alive. Can anyone imagine a camping weekend with him storytelling by the fire?
A friend went. He ain't been the same since. He said old Mr. Ballen here turns into Alfred Hitchcock and starts telling the real scary stuff.
I'd be preparing by bringing cinder blocks and mortar to the campsite one by one for weeks before we actually went camping. Instead of a flimsy tent, whatever animal/monster/paranormal/ reoccurring freak event he talks about will have to get through my concrete hut. lol
@@Delicate_Disaster He would make you question its integrity.

Oh man, you are a badass storyteller. I didn’t realize I’d already heard this story until you revealed the surprise. Super well done, sir, as always.
Yes! what a great way to watch this knowing the back story! I loved the details of getting to know Mike and his struggle and triumph over his past. Fantastic story telling as usual 👏👏👏
me. i had read your comment at the start and when he said she went to the gym i put two and two together. it’s amazing how he’s so good at it.
Same here I didn’t realize it until they brought the guy in the interrogation room and played the film from it. I’m SUPER impressed
As I was listening to a podcast last night I became consciously aware of how well-written his narratives are. They're a full sensory experience of sight, sound, touch and smell, and the flow makes the time fly by. He has 3 immediate family members who are in literary professions, one of whom won a Pulitzer Prize. No surprise there.
@dash
O
She deserves everything she gets, there's no justifing what she's attempted to do.
I love how the cop sounds shocked when Michael shows up at the door saying he’s alive 24:18
I've seen this case a few times but nobody has went into detail about the back story like you did. THAT'S WHY I WATCH this channel. You're the best at telling stories!!
Same!!!
I didn’t recognize this case untill he played the first clip and is was like oh shitttttt. Can’t agree more.
Stop drooling. There are other good story tellers.
Y'all need to watch this story
It's truly sick how well she acted out her devastation when they told her that her husband was "dead". 🤦
Yes it was believable, wow. Some people have a gift to manipulate.
When I saw that clip of her ugly crying, I just burst out laughing because it’s so funny how people think their fooling everyone around but in reality they are getting played big time
Reminds me of Amber 💩
If u look real closely, u can see she started act crying before the cop told her
Not dead.... Jus "de.."
❤ I really adore watching Mr Ballen's videos and I really love his laugh ❤
You are so funny! Love the way you tell the story.

I'd like to see a video of him reading stories to his kids. Damn lucky kids
Yeah I remember this. I remember she was a hooker not a real estate agent.
I heard this story so many times. Everyone always makes it be known at the beginning that Dalia is behind this. But the way you told it, it almost felt like a new story.
Agreed
I knew nothing about this story, but I guessed pretty early on that it was her, purely based on the fact that her name was Dalia (reminded me of Black Dahlia who was a murder victim)
Newbie to your channel! I’ve been reading horror stories online and your storytelling is so much scarier because of the scary noises you use 😂
Mr.Ballen needs his own tv show
I am absolutely convinced John was present at every story he tells. The way he goes into detail is amazing. He is a true story teller and I’m not from America but I do appreciate ur service and what you’ve done for your country and thank you for entertaining me for months as I’ve been binge watching ur channel since November. Mr ballen should be on Netflix I swear
Dude, you don't need to kiss his ass that hard 🤣
facts tho. especially when people die but hes able to explain it like they told him exactly what happened
Honestly more of a service for the men at the top then the country but good on him
@@aadil2248 it's about time. More people need to realise that. I feel sorry for soilders. Unknowingly they're puppets that are not always fighting for a valid reason

Oh lord. I’ve heard this story. Very good Mr B.
I think most people know about this episode of cops but the fact that I didn’t know where this was going till 75% of the way through the video shows how much of a storyteller mr.ballen is

I have heard this story 20 times, I've even seen psychological deep dives of her interrogation. However, until the part when she pulled up to her condo, I had no idea what this story was about. That's some truly amazing story telling abilities!!
What's even worse is her case got overturned and still remain as a free person.
