Yep. If I talk to someone, it is hard for me to keep eye contact for more than a few seconds at a time. I don't know if it is self-conscious issues or what.
The problem with "you're lying if you don't keep eye contact" is only a half truth, anyhow. It all depends on the situation. In the first case, her avoidance of eye contact was also motivated by the fact she knew she was done for. So she knew there was no hope despite her refusing to admit the truth. HOWEVER, in a lot of cases, when the person is actively trying to fool you and they think/hope they have a chance, they will make MORE eye contact. Psychologically, it apparently has to do with them watching your face and reaction to make sure you believe whatever BS they're saying. TL:DR body language isn't cut and dry.
For every “tell” in an interrogation, theres also context. These “tells” arent special on their own. Interrogators cant actually inexplicably know you are or are not lying, thats why they gather information outside the interrogation room and ask the suspect tons of questions. Theyre building a case, one answer at a time.
A skilled interviewer will baseline your behaviour first: if you are not making eye contact on low stakes questions, that's your baseline. If you change your behaviour on high stakes questions, that's what they use. So someone who doesn't make eye contact suddenly going out of their way to make eye contact is a tell. In the first case, the woman was making eye contact in the beginning with police, then suddenly avoided it. And for the record, it's not normal to constantly make eye contact with someone. Try it on some random person and watch their reaction to it.

First one was a killer, second one was an attempted killer. Either way who cares, the guy still thought he killed her, so would have thought of himself as a killer anyways
@@Rage_Harder_Then_Relax You really didn't need to type that in all caps. Also, who cares, you don't have to be technical over the terminology of someone who attempted to kill, and thought he did kill. Calm down.
Jeremy truly cared for Ashley and she was cheating on him the entire time. What a pile of garbage. Some people just reap what they sow.
The title led me to believe she survived the attack all together, little clickbaity title imo
I mean it is a clickbait channel at times
Well she did for a bit
she did survive to tell the story. Then after 16 days, succumbed to the burns
@@blueshanks1All together.
But she was alive at that time..
I like how you said the hammer was a crow bar … very intelligent
Already from the intro I’m mad. The fact that she said “I didn’t do it promise to God” she deserves any punishment given to her
She has absolutely no relationship with God. Evil is definitely alive and well.
Also noticed they didn't even start crying or tearing up until they said that it was a sitting an easy with them that she wasn't emotional. Then she became more emotional
Bro that a women what do you expect 😂😂😂 women ☕
The first case was horrifying. I can't imagine what that young lady went through. But the second case....Oh my! He really said, "We never kissed, but we f***ed"? What a piece of work he is! I hope he is a prison bitch. I'll bet they never kiss either.
They freaking released him already.
This girl sitting here “I promise to God” I swear I hate it when criminals use God to perpetuate their crimes and lies.
Died 16 days after… I’m scared I feel terrible she could of lived and had a chance
Sam Shelton was sentenced to 20 years in 2007 and after 17 years was released. That means he's currently out and about
And he's still not 50 yet. Sick
the guys Jeremy is just a really nice guys and so thank god he's not the suspect
Poor jeremy. they were tryin to press him and he was hella straight up, honest, and respectful talkin about everyone. Just to find out his girl almost died, cheated, and it was with somone he knows
Oh wow, that's definitely a crowbar...mhm totally.
If you watched any documentaries about about her, she herself says it's a crowbar. She was just confused after having her face bashed in.
Hey dr instantiy! Keep up the good work of your videos I just love them! I watch them everyday!❤
Do u rly love me
It ceases to amaze me how nobody just asks for a lawyer and stop talking. Its also shocking how easily people are manipulted by detectives.under no circustances are police ever looking out for your best interest.
There definitely not looking out for your best interest if they think you killed someone.
They are trying to find the killer, not make new friends. But some of them go too far and end up with false confessions, so it is best to demand a lawyer and shut up.
You have a great talent for communicating ideas effectively.
Tina actually snitched her self by saying “no I don’t” when the detective said “we’re not sure if she’s going to make it or not”
Why is the officers blurred out ?
Love the video, I enjoyed watching this. It always interests me.
I wish Ashley a good recovery and Jeremy a good girlfriend!
Bro what "we never kissed. We just had sex in the back" like bro how is that better at all what the fuck.
A kiss is only for love not for just sex😊
@@jansmit4690 Doesn't change anything. Sex is done with love in healthy circumstances.
@@jansmit4690sex is sometimes for love too
@@edgelord6210"in healthy circumstances" yes
That's how people rationalize the bad things they do.
"It ain't my door" 😂😂
Kirkoryan🎉
"Crowbar"?!? Holy shit, even I know the difference between a crowbar & a HAMMER
“We never kissed we just had sex in the back of the vehicle” gah lee man 😂😭😭😭😭
20 years? TWENTY YEARS!? Are you serious!? How?? Why!? Dude should never see the outside ever again
And he’s already out
Some really good interviewing skills in this video. The investigators are all skilled. It’s nice to see for once.
I know right. The worst detective interview skills iv seen is that case were the suspect gave away around $250k of his dads money to an online hot woman. Then proceed to murder his family
Notice how she barely makes eye contact? That's how yk they guilty af 🤦🏻♂️
I feel so bad for the last boyfriend because he thought she had died and then figured out that his girlfriend cheated on him with another dude that he trusted which was also the same guy that attempted to kill her and he thought she was going to play basketball with one of her friends
Dude around the 16:32 time mark is way to happy to be the suspect lmao.
Imagine like u try to kill a person and go to jail and HES STILL ALIVE
imagine if he said that in the middle of the interrogation
Attempted murder
allat work for nothing
that is what this video is about 👍
🤯🤯🤯🤯 woah #2DEEP4ME
Bravo Audreann! 60% burns and she still managed to find help. RIP Audreanna, I hoped that you would survive..
"where is she sam?" god that hurts....
I love these vids keep it up bro!!! Also that last case happened near me and now I know more things about it so thanks :) :)!!
They interrogated the second guy for 12 hours! That would feel like an eternity being in that room
"killed with a crowbar" shows bent hammer
For real. What a joke.
They probably mistook it for a crowbar, it has the shape of it, just a lot smaller.
Dude dont try and act like you cant tell someone is guilty by body language, even the FBI has phased this out due to it being false
That little camera cut when Tina was said to be sentenced on to death row , that was good pretty sick editing lol
“We didn’t kissed but we had s*x” 💀
"if you give someone a hug it's not sexual.....Is it?" like bro-💀😭
Oh my God! She said “the kids never saw any of that”… Because I didn’t! Anyone who was innocent would say that they didn’t know anything about it… Watching this first woman lie is tragic
This channel is awesome! I just discovered it, and I’m three videos in and I love it! So tired of those 20-40 minute, drawn out videos. Too much trivial information. I’m hooked!
ELITE DETECTIVE WORK AT THE END
That's crazy that people even do these things its crazy!
So he only did 17 of the 20 years he got for doing that to that girl? This is a wild wild fkn world..
That’s cause laws are not rational
“Actual Footage” - shows a black screen. 😂 Also was a crowbar or a damn hammer?
I want Jeremy as my friend sooo bad he seems like such a nice and collected guy
“We never kissed…but we did have s33x” 😂 oh ooooookay 👀
'we never kissed, yes we did have sex' okay that makes it better thank you for clearing that up....
„why you didnt open the door?“
„it aint my door“ 😂
I feel so sorry for the last guy (the boyfriend not the psycho!) thats got to be the most heartbreaking situation ever.
Tina’s mugshot looks like a GTA Vice City character
May she rest in peace. It really hurts to hear that she did not make it. She was a warrior. 🕊️
Hi love ur videos ❤❤❤
It's a miracle either of them survived and it was heart-wrenching to watch this video, to say the least. I just couldn't imagine man
Audreanna is cracked for surviving that
U can’t get charged with murder if the person u tried to kill doesn’t die. But u can get charged with ATTEMPTED murder, which was def what the first lady got
So if you watch further the girl ended up dying 16 days later
20 years? Are you serious? This is absolutely ridiculous!
That’s gotta be the worst the thing a killer could hear that the victim is still alive
1:31 me hearing all the drama and all I can think about this the song ‘ I just killed a man she’s my alibi’ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Daily reminder to ALWAYS lawyer up even if you did it or not. Its so frustrating to watch info just be given to the cops because people don't understand the justice system.
4:20 where do I get this new crowbar design 🤣
Jk great video
It's insulting to see how the suspect thinks she can be smarter than the officer?
How are you not able to identify a hammer correctly?
crying for herself after BURNING a person is disgusting
4:20 That's a claw hammer, crow bars look different to this, a crow bar is a buildign which contain a long wooden piece of furnature which crows attend in order to purchase alcohol and socialise.
Are you drunk?
Of course not, I'm stoned like any respectable person would be.@@baronvonhoughton
🤣🤣🤣
@@FatsMuffinEater😂😂
ONLY 20YEARS IT SHOULD BE A LIFETIME SENTENCE
"crowbar" Shows an iron hammer...
You know the first girl is lying when she says "Fish and French Fries" like if I was being accused of murder i would not be giving THAT much detail without being asked...
The killer is not a killer if the victim is still alive. I get your point though
In the second story the victim eventually died.
Yes they r- they just suck at it
a person or thing that kills. that's what the term "killer" means @@queenofhearts7503
"A killer realizes their victim is still alive."
Can you spot the fallacy in that sentence?
