Whoever designed those cameras to have back up batteries had some serious foresight. Good on them
Many consumer grade security cameras these day only use batteries, for easy installation. The disadvantage is they only record when there’s motion, so that the batteries last longer. But that’s generally fine for home use.
Wonder what company is this. I would live to purchase some
Don't forget the "cloud". Note, any system that has an internet connection, the data will always have to go thru the internet, where it will be stored, in addition to the end users device. Multiple copies !!! You're not erasing it.
As for the specific brand and maker. It doesn't matter. Check for those features when you buy, but don't buy it from Ali Express, Temu, or other such nonsense sites, unless you're well versed in tech.

Even though this would have stunned and upset him, he still thought of his grandfather. (Linda's father.) The son knew that it would be heartbreaking for his grandfather to see his daughter Linda dead and in such a bad state, so he told his grandfather that he had found his mother Linda and not to come closer to avoid having such a traumatic image of his daughter stuck in his head. Yah Selina 😮
Yes exactly…sadly I thought of Selena immediately, too…we wonder why they went alone to these meetings alone, but the victims TRUSTED and LOVED these people who murdered them in cold blood. The victims’ attempt to spare the thief embarrassment ended up costing them their lives. They thought that a private meeting would be more humane bc they could not comprehend the lengths these criminals would go to get away with the things they were doing. I'd rather they do a good interrogation and try to elicit a confession. Or try to get her to lie so they can use that against her as well.
They can't do it a lot because sometimes evidence can be explained away so they are careful with it, but this was literally a 100% smoking gun. They could have broken procedure in that interview 20 times and she'd still be guilty because of the picture... Good stuff!
I love that "we got you" reveal. They weren't trying to get a shred of evidence from her, they didn't need it. They were just gloating to this monster's face.

Of course, I DO also believe these double standards exist, and I’ve heard evidence of it. It’s just not true that this grieving son’s statement proves it.
Great documentary and production… ❤

I'm writing that down
The inner sanctum of the victim is always the place to begin! The investigator was brilliant with "bless yo' heart" and the condescending tone, knowing that he was speaking to the killer the entire time.
That should’ve been her first warning they knew lol. Everybody from the south knows what that means.
I hope no one in my inner circle becomes a victim of anything because I'm not helping the officers investigate anything. They would have to go to court and get warrants and subpoenas for anything they want from me.
This format is perfect!
I was searching to find the name of this ‘show’ so I could find more episodes on TV 😂😊
Excellent work!
No unnecessary footage to drag it out - well done
She had already lied about her story around her whereabouts during the murder during her first sobbing interview, so when she got arrested all that was needed was that beautiful "We got you!"

Same!!!
Your instincts are excellent, I didn't make a connection. I'm not bright enough to live a life of crime, so I'll stay on the straight and narrow.
I knew as soon as I heard her fake ass sobbing.
Gee, I knew as soon as I saw the thumbnail before even clicking on the video.
That absolutely would be useless in my neck of the woods. We don't have phones attached to our every movement.
"my entire life has taught me that you never, ever think you know what's going on. and no one is above anything."

Never change your format or style StayAwake. Your non-dramatised, understated delivery is excellent, & instantly engaging.
You allow the story to unfold in real time, with flawless editing between body cam, audio, personal video etc.
And you’re especially to be commended on how you consistently offer a three dimensional view of the person to be victimised. The people featured in your videos are never reduced to merely being The Victim.
We have a brief opportunity to get to ‘meet’ them. You always deliver other elements to a persons life, such as addiction or prostitution, with sensitivity, allowing the person to maintain a quiet dignity.
Thank you for introducing us to Linda, and her beloved children.
Such a senseless act.
I absolutely believe that Linda had reason to fear her ex- The cameras alone are evidence of that, in addition to the consistent story from her own children & those closest to Linda.
He wasn’t the killer in this video. But I’m confident Phil is also bad guy- just not the fatal one.
The Ex-Husband......all of those charges of him hitting her or abusing her came from BECKY'S MOUTH. The man may have been a very good man engaged in a bitter divorce, but to say he had been hitting her based on what the actual killer put forth.......that's a bit of sloppy detective work on your part
@hamjohn8737 She was scared of him for a reason. Very scared, according to both kids.
But the way Becky's voice dropped when she said Phil hit her, even sounded like a lie.
He might not have been physically abusive, but we'll never know if he was.
He denied even knowing about Linda being sick with Mercury poisoning. That's a lie.
And a 'good man' does not fight for three quarters of his wife's money. Not in my book, anyway.
Awesome story....good work....
Man! What a case. Great video too. And the reveal at the end literally shocked me! My eyes flew open and i went "WHAT!? NO WAY"
Wild, bro lmao
Can't help but laugh at the shocked reaction the detective gives to Becky when she tells him that she lost her phone that day. He sounds like a legit cartoon character. Lol.

and Phil, too!
She probably committed the Mercury poisoning on her.
How would it be a stretch? She already tried to murder her ex husband, murdered her best friend and tried to get away with it, and then tried to hire her inmates to murder her best friend's ex-husband immediately right after getting caught!
Great job with the video, begin to end
Thank you for the way you presented this story. I guarantee that as soon as one women blamed the man, all the women’s rights people wanted this judge to be fired. Before people react they need to learn more. So thank you for showing the story the way you did.
I guess the lesson here is that if you're going to pull a camera off of a wall, consider the fact that it might have batteries in it. And don't embezzle from and murder your best friend too, obviously
Sound advice
anyone else catch the "bless your heart" from the investigator speaking to Becky in the beginning?
These 3 words either make me cringe or laugh, they are clearly inappropriate to bring non evidenced based beliefs into an investigation which ONLY deals with evidence!
@@kimsland999You clearly lack an understanding of idiomatic and colloquial expressions. And withering irony.
@@willmercury Whilst I accept colloquial sayings such as even me saying OMG!

Thank you. Very sad story
I saw this on dateline. It was extremely disturbing. The killer was her best friend and the victim. Totally trusted her and didn't think I think in the world about letting her in her house. That just goes to show , have to be careful with everyone in your life. No one really knows ANYONE.
You you even read what you write? Your comment is nonsensical.
Are you having a stroke?
No apology to Phil? EVERYBODY THROUGH PHIL UNDER THE BUS!! If you don’t know who did it, don’t go around just blaming folks!
Poor guy. I wonder of Becky was the one poisoning her and not Phil. 😊
@@Monalisa0622 right!! That’s a good one. I forgot she been her assistant for years! That’s a damn good question!
Both things could be true. Her whole family said she was afraid of the ex-husband, the kids who also grew up with him as a stepdad too, so just because he didn't kill her, doesn't mean they didn't have good reasons to suspect him.
@scarletamazon3455 yeah you're absolutely correct. Both can be true. Just made me wonder if it was truly him. Definitely could of been a great way for Becky to put the blame on him.
@@scarletamazon3455 yes. When people go through nasty divorces, things can turn ugly. BUT to flat out say he did it, isn’t and wasn’t okay. No matter what your parents go through stay out of it. Women and men lie, so everything he was accused of could’ve been out of spite from their mom. You’re innocent until proven guilty. Not, guilty because mom said you hit her. That’s not fair.
