Don't let it stop you from enjoying your music. I think people are envisioning this small, tiny little crash site. It wasn't. The helicopter skidded almost an entire block when it hit the ground. Isaiah wouldn't have been able to outrun it even if he heard it coming. I find comfort in the fact he probably had no idea he was about to die.

If we're being honest, not wearing his headphones would probably just have made his death more tragic. There's no way not wearing his headphones would have allowed him to escape. The only thing that would have been different is that short moment when he would have been aware he was about to die......messed up situations :S

I have some avid train nerds in my family and it is a well known fact that mannny taggers get hit by trains because it is very hard to hear a train coming when you are directly in its travel path. Weird, but true. If the helicopter was going straight at him at a decent speed there is a chance he wouldn't of even had time to look up before impact, regardless of headphones. This wasn't because he did anything wrong. Headphones are far more dangerous at night or in secluded areas where animals or people can sneak up on you. I find it odd that it's implyed that if he had not been wearing headphones, he would've survived. It's a large assumption and kinda victim blamey. I am sorry this happened to him, truely a tragedy.

Rabies is almost exclusively in bats in developed countries . Mammals rarely have it in developed countries because it has been controlled. Also the only treatment that works is VERY new and somewhat dangerous so they would only do it in certain situations. Giving a vaccine after a bite is an option but again not something a doctor wants to do.

I knew a guy I didn't really feel close to but admired as a person, who was a friend of some mutual friends who died of a heart attack at 19 due to a freak infection in the lining of his heart. Like in this story just the kindest dude with a great family and so much potential. I can understand why he was so shaken up after seeing a moose for the first time. You don't realize how big they actually are unless you've seen one in person. First time I saw one I was taking my daughter to the bus stop for school at 6am and this huge bull moose just casually stepped out of the trees and into the road in front of us. I was driving a small pick up truck and it was dwarfed by the size of the moose. My kid went wide eyed and just slowly slid down in her seat saying "Ma.. what is that?!?". I was pretty much doing the same thing and all I could say was, "Moose.. that's a freaking moose". And the whole time the moose is just standing in the middle of the road, blocking the way and staring right at us. I swear he was thinking "That's right puny humans. Tremble before me for I am a forest God". Whole encounter lasted about 5 minutes but seemed like 30. It was such a humbling and awe inspiring moment.

The Second Story really brought up unpleasant memories for me, when I was in Eighth grade, I had been sick for a whole week, my stomach didn't feel good, I could barely hold anything down, and I could barely climb out of bed. Then on a Thursday night, around 1am, something hard hit my head, then I looked towards my window to find someone right outside my window, with his hands on my windowsill. He asked if this was my sister's house, I tiredly said yes, then got up and went to the bathroom, thinking I was just imagining things. Then, when I climbed back in bed, the rocks he had thrown at me hurt my back, and I ran to my parent's room, telling them that someone was outside. My mom had no idea what I was saying then, I had finally said it clearly and my parents were instantly up and alerted. My dad grabbed his gun, my mom walked with me back to my room and saw the rocks in my bed, so they knew I wasn't lying. Turns out, it was my sister's boyfriend. She had asked him to come over, so they could 'do stuff' but she didn't expect him to come to the house at 1am. He hiked 5 miles to our house, traumatized me, and apparently my sister was 'traumatized' the worst. Anyway, I don't know who'll see this, but I just felt like sharing my story.

and if I tell you the story of an airplane crashing on top of you? would you believe me? yes. It did happened. Fokker 1000, Flight 402 from TAM crashed in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the top of houses and street killing 4 people on the ground besides the passengers and crew (95 victims). It happened in October 31 1996 (Halloweeen night, don't forget that). And one of the victims on the ground, I must tell you his story and when I finish, you will not believe my words. There was a birthday celebration in a house on that street that same day. The brother of one of the crash victims was present, he works for the government as tax adviser for what you call in USA, IRS. His brother never travelled in his life in a plane, afraid of plane crashes and during the birthday, they were talking about such crashes and the danger of living nearby a very busy international airport like that one... and he heard his brother saying: "you are crazy! risking your life travelling all around the country without end because of your job, you should change and stop this lifestyle, it will end up killing you. I will never fly in my life!". It is true. His brother was very afraid of planes and it is also true, our other guy in the story had to cross the whole country because of his tiresome work for the government and that's an ordinary thing for such people. Sometimes they visit 3 States in a week. Lots of work and stressful... well, the birthday celebration came to an end, the brother who never travelled in a plane said goodbye to everybody and holding the hand of his 5 year old son was crossing the street when the plane 402 fell on top of him.... Another lady, pregnant, who lived nearby and had to call the ambulance to carry her to the hospital was on a public phone calling the paramedicals when the plane turbine hit her, she died on the spot... Well, the tax adviser is still alive and continues his lifestyle, very much alive and his brother who never set feet in a plane died with his kid. I wish that was all a bad joke, but it is not. It is horrid and it is true. Sometimes reality is more bloody and sad than fiction.

    Speaking on the second story:
When I was a child, I kept having recurring nightmares about Santa Clause breaking into my house and my mom running out into the yard with me. Even though I'm from Michigan, I remembered palm trees. One night when we were staying at a Best Western (we'd do that as a little family vacation, because we lived in a trailer and the heat would go out) I told my parents about this recurring dream. They both kind of looked at each other embarrassed and tell me that it was actually true, and I was about 6 months old. And we were in California. Apparently my parents had gotten into a fight that night, and my mother's stepfather (a mall Santa/child molester. Unrelated story) had broken into our house looking for my father, and it was actually my aunt that ran outside with me into the palm trees. I never had that dream again after they told me the story.
Moral of the story: Be careful what you do with your infants. You may very well be fucking up their mind's forever.

    • @1ronw1ll78
      @1ronw1ll78 2 года назад +10

Well dam! Seriously though, I have had really strange dreams like that that turned out to actually be a long lost partial memory too. On a few separate occasions. Different times In my life were different dreams and only years later a story would be told at a Christmas or 4th of July party that near perfectly mimicked those old dreams I had. So weird how the mind works. Its like your brain says "welp, ya, we'll just fold this one up and tuck it away for later in life.. or maybe not"

One time I went on a date with a lovely fire rescue/EMT guy that worked in SF and during this nice date I very stupidly asked him what was the worst thing he ever encountered on the job… he proceeded to tell me every single detail about a man who had been found alone in his apartment approx 6 days deceased in the middle of a heat wave… and near the end of his story I kinda abruptly interrupted him to ask if this took place on such and such street to which he just froze and his face kinda went white. So I instantly became hysterical… but hey, at least now I know every horrific detail of what happened to my best friend, right? Sucks because me & rescue dude were def kinda into each other, but we both knew there was no way for us to bounce back from that exchange. My story reminds me of the boy who photographed his bestie’s death without knowing it, ya know? Same, my dude. Same.

The German girl is a lucid dreamer and had a lucid night terror basically. I have the same thing. I know when I'm dreaming and see everything in color and I can control them. When a lucid dream becomes a night terror, it is an absolutely horrific ordeal. Hers was really bad because it was triggered by something actually happening to her in her sleep. I had a similar experience but nowhere near as bad. Mine was a car lying on my foot trapping me while a monster of a tornado was coming at me. I told myself that it was a dream and started slapping my face ( in the nightmare ) so I would wake up. I finally awoke and had my foot caught in the gap of a recliner ( the part your legs and feet are on .) My foot was hurting and instead of waking up like a normal person would, it triggered a night terror.

Man, I know this is an older story, but Isaiah’s story reminds me of my sister and her fiancés accident.
They were in a car accident where her fiancé(Matt) died on impact, she(Kayla) received a broken neck, but was able to stumble to a near by house for help. In the first of the rescuer’s group was Matt’s cousin, who was completely heart broken. He also knew Matt had just bought an engagement ring for Kayla that was in his trunk. He had to search the creek near by and found it 😔 they gave it to her at the Funeral. I’ll never forget that hear wrenching moment for her.

A mutual friend of ours wrote this poem after she passed… if anyone cares to read it, it’s beautiful.
To sum things up, she eventually married a man and had two children, (who now belong to me and our other sister)… but her heart was never fully with him, or ever the same.
      -for Kayla
When she was young she lost her Prince, she fought the pain ever since.
So she found a rogue and loved his ways, accepted her roles in tiny plays.
Benevolent, beautiful, and serene, she should have been queen.
Been crowned if life made sense, maybe if she hadn't lost her Prince.
Years of tears flooded with pain, and sadness marked her short reign.
Beloved by the many and the masses, serfs and Lord's of low and high classes.
From coronation to untimely grave, damsel in distress none could save.
She loved her subjects without pretense, almost as much as she loved her Prince.
Small boy and little girl now stand brave, heirs to the queen who rests in grave.
Young ones hold your tiny heads high, and own her spirit which cannot die.
Knights all kneel as jesters bells still, as she's laid to rest neath earthen fill.
Mourners all in black let's come hence, to pray she finds her long lost Prince.

I love Mr. Ballen! Besides being adorably gorgeous, I'm totally mesmerized by the way he makes the stories intoxicating, leaving me desirously captivated to his every word. He's deep, intense, and I love the silly things he says to do when you hit the like button. I love how he is honest and not afraid to share his personal experiences. The way he uses his body heightens and exhilarates the tales. He's amazing, exceptional, and outstanding to say the least. He takes my breath away! When I woke up, I found I myself were holding my left upper arm in my right hand, squeezing so hard I woke myself up. But did she? It wasn't clear if the incident with his brother actually happened, or did they fall asleep when the mom went to look around and didn't realize the police were called? Clearly the mom did take it seriously and had called the police, but it wasn't clear how the boy knew something he supposedly had slept through.

Oh man that last story reminds me of one I have. I went out duck hunting once, I was about 17 or 18 at the time. I got out to my spot nice and early and figured I'd sit down on the levee and wait to see if any other hunters were headed my way. I did not want to venture into the water as I had leaks in my waders and was not looking forward to getting wet before sunrise on a foggy winter day. I sat down, I did not intend to fall asleep but that's what happened. I started to dream that my face was being eaten by a wolf. I did not have any pain but the dream felt really realistic. Like really, really realistic. I woke up rather fast but my perception of things was totally out of wack It was completely dark. And I was being licked in the face by a black lab. It took me a few seconds to actually realize I was not being eaten by a wolf. As my senses came back to me a saw a light in the distance bouncing my way and someone was yelling for "gunner" lol. Turned out to be a great day even though the dude stole my spot. We both limited out.
