If you report a vehicle stolen in Arkansas, the insurance company should immediately cut you a check for a totaled vehicle lol
The problem is the owner will loose money. We have a 12 yo pickup with less than 60,000 miles and would never get back that value with that low mileage.

Having ridden Goldwings for several years, that was textbook for picking up a heavy bike. You have to use your legs to right the bike.

Any big bike rider knows the proper way to picking the bike up. I'm only 5'7. It ain't that hard and guys a lot older than me can do it too. I could even turn the bike 180 degrees on its kick stand (both wheels off the ground). Takes practice.

@SqueezeSVT motorcycle cops go through pretty intense training before they're allowed on the road. Not saying people don't fk up bc they do. Professionals know how to push the limits which makes it dangerous.

Being a lifelong M/C rider of 45+ years this one made my day because most people don't realize how good these motor cops are with their riding skills. Most of them are a step above the car troopers since they can do both driving and riding. The only reason you don't see more chases by them is safety since a suspect can decide to just ram them at any time. However, I remember watching episodes of C.H.I.P.s and as they were coming to a stop at the end of a chase they would flip out the side stand before coming to a stop and hop off the bikes leaving the bikes parked on the wheels. If Erik Estrada could do it these guys can too. 😏
I’ve always been told that the motorcycle course for law enforcement was one of the hardest courses to pass. I worked with a couple that were motorcycle certified and they both said so many people fail that class.
You should watch the motorcycle rodeo competitions. Look up Donnie Williams. Truly amazing skills.
They may actually be trained to lay it down. Ponch wasn’t chasing a real criminal with real consequences. He was also more focused on trying to impress the ladies.😉

They use Hardly Davidsons which are good for 115 mph. There are hundreds of new vehicles that will easily outrun those over 100 mph.
I totally agree. Our motor unit made the switch from Harley to BMW because those old heavy Harley’s were so slow. Most of us loved our 1250 RT Ps.

@@ceedaddy the motorcycle Officers are Little Rock Police not State Troopers and their Motorcycles do not have camera's so you will only get a view from their bodycams which arent going to catch anything over the Harleys instrument panel.

I had a car stolen, and I managed to find it and identify the new 'owner'. I asked for police help so I could get it back, and they were unable to help, and yet warned me not to take the law into my own hands. I had no choice, and I armed myself and went and got the car back myself, and shook the guy up pretty bad (no injuries to anyone though). Yet here, they are risking several officer's lives to catch a person who stole a car. I need to move to this place where the police actually earn their wage. I counted at least 8 police officers here.

Actually the floorboards fold up. The front and rear crash bars are holding the bike up.
@@Aaron11375 you are correct the floorboards do fold up but if you enlarge the video you can clearly see the rear crash bar is not touching the ground,several times when I have had to much to drink I have dropped my Road King and my Street Glide and the floorboards folded up but took the weight,the crash bars never touched the ground once I got the bike stood up and on the jiffy stand I just stomped on the floorboard and it went back down
Depends on the motorcycle and the truck. If its a really fast truck on a twisty road and the bike is a Harley, the cop is gonna be in a ditch/somebody's garden in a heartbeat or the truck will get away.
Neither one will be going that fast on a twisty road.

The title of the video is misrepresented. Should’ve read….. motorcycle cops tag along to watch a police car pit maneuver a stolen truck. Looked like it did outrun the motorcycles. In reality if a motorcycle with full tank of gas was chasing a car/truck with half tank of gas, the motorcycle would run out first if that was all that was chasing it. You know a motorcycle isn’t doing a pit maneuver. lol
