Lovely old car. Dark green really suits it, even though the repaint has probably had a negative effect on its value. The new owner will be very lucky indeed, I'm envious.
36.000 miles just shows how bad those cars are with that miles and all the work that has been done I was going to say don't open the top and when you did you had to give it a assisted thump
A great description of the Bentley. I have been on the lookout for a 2005 Arnage T. Though after seeing the 2009 Final Series, I may be swayed. Not sure why I need to find the right one. Maybe it's the leather work on those interiors and the "T" trim package. Back in the early 80's I had a friend who was with Arista Records in NYC had to go back to London and let me use his Cornish for about 6 months. I have to say it was a fantastic car. Though, in my mid 20's, when I needed to work on the brakes, it cost me thousands of dollars!! LOL! I rebuilt them myself to save some cash.... Now I can afford to just let the pros do it, I am looking for the older Arnage with low miles and be a nice driver's car for this old dude. Nice video description of your work, Jeff. (Looking for a Arnage T, Black on Black 2005- 2009)

Agreed, I'm going to give the rest of the video a miss due to the garbage background. Similar annoyance value as the frequent fade into focus / slow pan up from the garage floor on the Jay Leno videos.
I much prefer the sportier look of the Bentley Continental over the Rolls-Royce Corniche. Can the Corniche be made to look like the Continental by simply changing the grille and badges? Or perhaps the bonnet is different? I think it would look great with a body color matched painted grille. Maybe someone is making a replica in fiberglass? Seems sacrilegious, but an original grille shell must be very rare and expensive indeed.
I would say unless you have driven a Rolls-Royce or Bentley before the companies were separated you haven't driven a work of engineering art. The new ones are more electronic. Perhaps I'm biased though, I've owned a 1965 Silver Cloud III for 40 years
You can find older Rolls and Bentleys suprisingly cheap here in the UK. But most people won't touch them because parts/repair costs are insane. They are nice, but you need a lot of money to burn to own one. Many of the cars from this era are still used for transporting VIPs, limbos etc. Still very luxirious but affordable for a small company.
@@BlatentlyFakeName They can be eye wateringly expensive. But, you can also buy reconditioned parts which are much cheaper than new ones. Also, the great thing about the older models is that any good mechanic can fix them, which certainly isn't true of the new electronic boxes.
A fabulous clip that was totally destroyed by that bloody awful music in the background! Surely for a rare classic like a Bentley drop-head you could dignify this luxurious motor car more suitably with a piece from Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky . . .
Charming old car. Hideous background music for a Bentley presentation.
Luckily the music doesn't come with the car! Thanks for stopping by :)
A classic looking drophead with such modern features as fuel injection. Desirable indeed!

Lucky indeed! Thanks for checking out the video :)
In fact this green is called "English green" and couldn't fit better...
Drophead & Drop-dead Gorgeous ❤️🚗❤️

very nice car.
Do I see a sizeable gap between the frames of the front and rear quarter windows?
Noticed that too.
Good, concise video for a really desirable car. Watched to the end despite the grueling, looped music.
haha, thank you!
I m French you are very lucky in us you have a lot of beautiful Bentley and RR
Here we can see it just in monaco or Geneva..
Great description...
What a BEAUTY!!!!
Nice and green is the perfect color for it.
I'm curious to know what it sold for?

Background music is an awful distraction. We just want to hear you talk about the car.
I’m always in favor of keeping a car as original as possible but at least they picked a great color.
I agree John!
my dream car...
May I suggest a little remote microphone that you clip to your collar it’s a wonderful video but the sound would be so much improved
And turn off the car radio. The hard grinding rock music doesn’t exactly exude elegance.

Seems a lot of work for for 36,000 miles. Pity. Such a beautiful car.
Not for sale anymore I bet. Very clean Bentley

Please next time don't have that music throughout your videos - it is very offputting
thanks for the unput David!

@@tonysavage8364 thanks for stopping by Tony! Appreciate the feedback!
They used to have German radios if I'm not mistaken, well RR did.
Why is the grille blacked out? That's only for the turbo models.

I believe that the hood is different.
@@SWright1978 - I was thinking the same, the lines on top of the bonnet flow straight from the shape of the grill.
Why is the Continental badge on the driver's side of the trunk ? Shouldn't it be on the passenger side ?
Elton John has the exact same car in RED with chauffeur in his 1985 video clip Nikita ! He had the good taste NOT to have a RR Corniche in it.

Front end looks a little like a Rolls Royce Corniche
It's a Bentley version of the Corniche. When this was built Rolls-Royce and Bentley were one company.
should have left it alone at 36000 miles it was fine . £4000 is good .

Colour change on a Bentley. How to fuck a cars value.
Sometimes it is worth it. This is a better colour and a very nicely done paint job
Absolutely horrible soundtrack for such a majestic classic Bentley 😢
Colour change is suicide !!
Rust bucket … keep it in the sunshine state 😎
