I hate tarping as much as you ! But, carry some extra 2" ratchet straps and do the front, back, over the top, even round the cargo itself it needed. It has really cut down any air getting underneath the tarp job and reduced flapping a lot !
You did the right thing I’m a hot shot driver too! And yes we do have those miss haps and have to find places to get us going I’m out of flo Florida but I hot shot every where too
Are the valve stems in your truck wheels bolt in or pull in? You have to be careful with the bolt ins as is they are too tight the seal will be comprimised. I wouldn't rely on even high pressure pull inns

How do you load cars on the mega ramps? Does it work or do you use boards or extra ramps? Been wanting to haul cars too with my big tex. Thanks
