    Hey bro I think you hit the nail right over the head when it comes down to the difference between hauling freight and hauling cars and what you see as far as and on the highway more you definitely see more car haulers then freight that's just me I'm from Jacksonville North Carolina and I travel up and down 95 a lot going back between VA and sometimes even down south as far as South Carolina I see a lot of car hauling and I'm thinking that I'm very convinced from your video that that's what I want to jump into thanks brother by the way is your car hauler non cdl set up

    I’ve been in both games.... and cars aren’t that easy and it can be time consuming too... especially when you picking up from a big lot auction...plus it can be a headache babysitting car trying to make sure rocks hit them... and a lot of people don’t wanna be bother with factoring car and so if it not cod or 2day pay it can become another headache... to me freight is easier and be better bc with a flatbed you can haul both a 3or 5 car hauler can’t haul freight

    Commercial Auto Insurance for hauling is way more than freight.
    If you haul freight only and haul 1 car, your considered a car hauler in the Insurance world. DOT stops you hauling freight and Auto is not listed on your Fed Filling, its a wrap! Big fine. Freight has more deadhead than cars. Car hauling is cheaper for securement than freight. They do have factoring for car hauling. I know of atleast 2 companies that offer it. There is plenty of car dispatch service for car haulers. It maybe best to just get a 53 foot hotshot step deck and haul both car and freight. But remember to remove that pick up truck bed and register the truck as a tractor. Can't be 65 feet or longer with pick up and trailer.

    I am running freight and hotshot but I have a buddy that has a 3 car hauler. He works the Orlando auto auction. He has a dozen or so used car dealers that buy at the auction and need the cars delivered to southern Alabama or south Georgia. He has contacts at car dealerships that want trade-ins to go to auction for the back haul. He stays busy and has thrown some loads out of Florida my way but I can only handle two vehicles on the trailer. I do have an enclosed car hauler that gets big $$ when it is put to work. I have had one freight load since Thanksgiving but he is running daily. There are very few loads that pay more than fuel out there right now in the southeast. I am going to clear about $50k this year and I cleared six figures 2 and 3 years ago doing about the same amount of work/miles.

    Let me start off by saying I'm just happy it's somebody from around my area. I have hauled both and I tend to like Freight better than cars even though you have to wait on your money a lot of time because once you get loaded you drive to where you going and that's it. Even if you have to wait an hour to get unloaded and loaded to me it was still better than the Three Pick 3 drop off which even if you're in the same general area takes most of the day. Right now where I'm at personally is I carry a specialized trailer with car tow dollies right now. They pay for return trips and we go everywhere except for Mexico and California. But I'm still greedy and I think I'm going to get a wedge trailer and work up some way to get the car tow dollies on a wedge trailer

    great video Bro, what i heard is cars hauling got a lot of claims cus cars owners private or dealers are a little picky of condition of cars when they get delivered, scratches or dings on body so my friends say insurance will be a little higher, secondly the weight of trucks hauling cars will be most likely maxed out so your MPG goes down vs freight you are not always maxed out so your MPG is better, let me know what do you think?, keep on trucking Bro!

    • @Joebleaux
      @Joebleaux  4 года назад +1

    • @esadyusufkalender6153
      @esadyusufkalender6153 3 года назад

      I mean with a gooseneck flat bed doing freight. That'd give me the option to either haul 2 cars and get 1.5$ or a car and some freight or just freight. It'd give me options. But i don't know if i should commit to 3 car trailer and just keep hauling cars. And i wanted to ask how much would they pay you if you waited 3 hours at a pick up for flat bed, or at the drop off. Great video btw really appreciated
