I have a 1947 Chris Craft that has had a wonderful restoration. However, the engine and/or transmission needs some fine tuning. It accelerates very roughly and appear to be either missing or slipping; Can you tell me where I can go to have it looked at and repaired
Great video and very helpful. I own a motorboat equipped with a kfl engine. Is it possible for you to sell paint in the proper blue and ship it to Spain? If not, at least tell me the Pantone or Ral code number? Unfortunately this is hard to find in Europe. Thank you.
Try ford engine blue its really close and what we used in the past. Hopefully you can get that. If not let me know and can get the code form my paint store.
Mike, I've got a K-engine that has been rebuilt and will take some of these points to heart. Thanks! My question is regarding 6-volt systems. The engine is still 6-volts with a generator. Any issues with putting in an A/B/A+B switch so we can have a bit more kick (two 6-V batteries in parallel) during startup? I have memories that single battery 6-volt cars used to be a pain to crank, especially when the block was cold. Thoughts? Dave Willis BTW, in one of your vids about Super Sports, you mentioned the elusive MEL431. You've seen it in my '64 Super Sport and it's a beast. Heavy as all get out, but a torque monster.
Great video series.
Love your philosophy on restoration.

Any expert Century Boat builders that are as knowledgeable as you are with Chris Crafts?
I have restored many Century's but not many in the last few years. I know the Miklos brothers are very knowlagable with Century's.
Where are you located?

You could do that or you could go up in groupe size.
