Decreasing the number of cigarattes won't help you.I am sharing you how i quit this 1.take a cigaratte and smoke it fully and make the mindset of not touching it again. 2.Don't keep extra money in your pocket to buy cigarattes. 3.Go for a walk when you feel craving 4.throw your lighter away. 5.sleep more 6.Exercise 7.Rope skipping helps you to reduce craving of nicotine
Decreasing your cigarette intake can be incredibly helpful. I smoked 2 packs a days and slowly cut down to 3 cigarettes a day. I didn't suffer from withdrawal at all. I quit smoking the rest last week and I have like 3 urges to smoke a day. I wouldnt even call them real cravings because they take no effort to ignore and they give me no anxiety. No real physical symptoms from quitting at all. People keep talking about how hard quitting is but this has been super chill. I do love skipping rope though so I'll do that anyway. Good call on that. I did also tell the guys at the gas station by my house that I quit so they would know I was a failure if I started again
I feel like going cold turkey would be better for me. I quit for 4 years overnight just by making the decision. Smoking one more and setting the intention works better for some people.

sorry to say this but cutting of cigarette isn't considered as helping you to cut off your cigarette because if you take 1.0 mg of nicotine on a cigarette a day it takes like days to release the nicotine from your body so you're just basically maintaining the nicotine on your body and that will keep you making addicted. best thing is to stop completely
what works for me every time is slowly tapering off. so have like 1 full cigarette. Next day have 2 cigarette but only smoke half throw half away. do that the next day. from 4th day onwards have 25% of 1 whole cigarette. take couple of puffs and throw 75% away. but do this like 4 times a day. then do 25% of a whole cigarette but twice a day. do that couple of days and boom you can come out of cigarettes without big cravings. this is my secret hack.

Read Allen Carr's book on quitting smoking. He tackles all of the stupid f******* reasons you might want to keep smoking so that you can be free from them. I would ask yourself this, do you want to respect yourself? If so, then go respect yourself. If you dont want to respect yourself and not die an early death, smoking is a symptom and there is something wrong with you. Why is your urge to literally poison yourself stronger than your urge to live. That's sickness. I'm someone who loved smoking. Like I loved the feeling in my throat. A tiny little throat tingle was not worth dying for. You gain nothing from smoking. It makes you anxious and feel like crap. If seeing people with holes in their throat doesn't deter you from doing something stupid, then there's not much I can tell you besides the fact that you don't love yourself. Going through life not loving yourself sounds really sad. My point is, you need to figure out why you don't care about yourself. And if you claim to care about yourself, then why don't you act like it? I might sound harsh, but I've been you before and it f******* sucked.

Well a single trip of LSD stopped me completely from smoking cigarettes within a single day. The cravings got totally shutdown. It’s like i don’t have to control myself from smoking, I just don’t have the feel or urge anymore this applies for my alcohol consumption as-well. 20+ a day to zero.
That is possible but then it can alter your brain chemistry altogether as every individual might react differently to psychedelic compunds. Stay safe and don't try this people, either go for NRT or use natural ways

My method to stop smoking/vaping all together. Buy the shittiest NRT (One you don't like) you can find so you don't barely ever use it and before you know it you don't even need it lol. To me I treated NRT as something not to enjoy so I got the quick-mist which burned my throat and tasted horrible and I only used it in emergencies only when I first quit! Smoke free for 6 months! Found it easy after day 2!

About the decrease the amount thing, when I was a kid I used to see people cut em so I’d ask why they do it and they’d say cuz they’re tryna quit and I never understood how still smoking it could be helpful but I now I understand how it is. The thing is it’s only helpful if you don’t abuse it, some people was cutting em to tell themselves they’d quit and never quit they just ended up smoking shorter cigs. But I took this knowledge and helped me to stop chewing my nails, ever since I could remember I had a BAD habit of chewing my nails. I’m talkin it’s nothing there and I’m still chewing. So in about sophomore year I successfully cut the habit after years of trying by doing what the cig smokers did, decreased the amount I was chewing so I restricted myself to only my thumbs cuz who tf really NEEDS and ONLY uses there thumbnail? So now my thumbs look like nubs with barely any nails but my other 8 fingers look amazing and healthy🤣

Summary : dont smoke a single puff for 7 days ur urger of smoking die and its easy to control habit. Explanation : Bro this is the wrong strategy may be it work for you but its too difficult. If I explain you in short we can to quite cigarette at once. After 7 days there is no urge of smoking(you have to only strugle for 7 days. aftet that because of ur habit you wants to smoke but Its easy. But if you had amy cigarettes in between this your nicotine receptors again become active and you need to start again the process.

Well a single trip of LSD stopped me completely from smoking cigarettes within a single day. The cravings got totally shutdown. It’s like i don’t have to control myself from smoking, I just don’t have the feel or urge anymore this applies for my alcohol consumption as-well. 20+ a day to zero.

That is possible but then it can alter your brain chemistry altogether as every individual might react differently to psychedelic compunds. Stay safe and don't try this people, either go for NRT or use natural ways
Keep a cigarette with you all the time,this will take out the part where you go and buy a cigarette and get into the habit of smoking. And Just keep yourself distracted after that. There's a good video on this. I quit without the gradual decrease. Haven't smoked since almost 2 years

My method to stop smoking/vaping all together. Buy the shittiest NRT (One you don't like) you can find so you don't barely ever use it and before you know it you don't even need it lol. To me I treated NRT as something not to enjoy so I got the quick-mist which burned my throat and tasted horrible and I only used it in emergencies only when I first quit! Smoke free for 6 months! Found it easy after day 2!

Kinda related, kinda not. About the decrease the amount thing, when I was a kid I used to see people cut em so I’d ask why they do it and they’d say cuz they’re tryna quit and I never understood how still smoking it could be helpful but I now I understand how it is. The thing is it’s only helpful if you don’t abuse it, some people was cutting em to tell themselves they’d quit and never quit they just ended up smoking shorter cigs. But I took this knowledge and helped me to stop chewing my nails, ever since I could remember I had a BAD habit of chewing my nails. I’m talkin it’s nothing there and I’m still chewing. So in about sophomore year I successfully cut the habit after years of trying by doing what the cig smokers did, decreased the amount I was chewing so I restricted myself to only my thumbs cuz who tf really NEEDS and ONLY uses there thumbnail? So now my thumbs look like nubs with barely any nails but my other 8 fingers look amazing and healthy🤣

Bro this is the wrong strategy may be it work for you but its too difficult.
If I explain you in short we can to quite cigarette at once.
After 7 days there is no urge of smoking(you have to only strugle for 7 days. aftet that because of ur habit you wants to smoke but Its easy. But if you had amy cigarettes in between this your nicotine receptors again become active and you need to start again the process.
