Cheap doesnt equals bad. Sometime people open up their fishing company with good products but for X reason it doesnt go well and it falls appart. So all the gear is sold as cheap as possible due to money and other reasons. I have a good quality rod and reel but i buy my braided line in Dollarstore, it is cheap and super hard so i do not mind changing it once a year for 10 bucks.
*Hands down one of the best reels I've used at this price point. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend Casts much better than expected and is very quiet! Great stocking stuffer ;)*
Haven't watched your videos in almost a year and since then i've only had 4 fishing sessions, now i'm getting back into watching your videos and you really inspire me to catch more fish and just fish overall. :)
I still have the first rod I got in the 60s, it cost 19/6, ask some old dude what that is. I caught roach, pike, sea trout, brown trout, salmon ,cod mackerel and goodness knows what else, if that's what you have, then you go with it. Now 40+ rods later I still have fond memories of the rod my dad bought me when I was 11 years old.
Great vid with the cheep stuff man but hey that's the way it is you get some you lose some all ways love looking at the vids but your a great Fisher man👍😊✌️🇮🇪
Hi dan love the videos! I recently bought a baitcasting reel and when I use it I keep getting backlash any tips to solve this? I've put it back in the box 😂 im new to the fishing game lol
Don't start off with a baitcaister if your new tbf you need to learn when to realease the line and stop the line . best way to do if ur new is turn any magnetic break to max, and use ur spool tension nob , drop the lure to see how fast it drops. Tighten the nob intill ur lures drops down strait and hits the water with no backlack. Fron that setting then try casting, its all about realising ur thumb at the right point with the cast and just before the lure hits the water out ur thumb on spool as it hits the water. Once u learn that u can move onto looser settings and breaks and use ur thumb to tension the spool instead. It takes a longtime to get used to , just keep practicing!
Great video . I'm starting to fancy a baitcaster now. I already have 2 predator rods 2-15g fixed and 40-120 fixed. So I have room for a 14-45g or something like abu black max combo. Isbthere a specific weight of lure that baitcaster are best at ?
That depends on the baitcaster bud, something like a 100 size is good for up to 30g baits, for up to 45g a promax would do amazing, black maxxes are good but cheaper option means bit more backlack and less control tbf. if you want to throw heavier baits ull need a 300-500 size ie tranx 300 or abu abaseduer 4500. Baitcaster generally cant handle finesse lures say 1-7g , can chuck them but not the best you need a dedicated BFS baitcaister reel for that size
Hi, I bought same reel but it doesn't release or fly too far , I tried max and lowest settings but it just goes for max 5 meters, am I missing something?
Hello DB greetings from Poland, I want to ask about your previous rod daiwa prorex xr 40-120g. I want to buy same one. Could you tell me your opinion about it? I want to fit it with daiwa tatula 300HL Thank you
The daiwa prorex rods are very good for the price to be honest mate, quite a soft tip in conparision to a svartzonker 40-140g , amazing rod for around 80g baits
Most my lures cost that 🤦♂️ if you lissen the two firat cast, third cast is a different sound. And later in film a third sound... imagen now someone think its a pike setup. You know people always ask whats the cheapest shit you can buy. Probably this setup... i stick to westin and ambassadeurs myself....
@@danielnystrom7310I also have 4 westin rods, actually just picked one up today. I have always used ABU reels, 6500 c3 ct, for beach casting in saltwater here in Ireland. Love them for that. I have a cheaper ABU baitcaster and I actually love it so who knows I might get a Revo beast later this year.
🤣🤣🤣 that rod looks so bad, the curve looks like it has two spliced sections in the tip. Might be better used for tiny crankbaits, at least that rubber band action will keep fish on the tiny trebles

jof sounds like cough medicine lol
Fishing is fun

Was the reel any good
I have never tried a Baitcaster and really want a cheap one do you reckon if I could have that one? If not it’s fine😅

Rather than get the BlackMax, spend a little extra and get the ProMax. Rod is the same but the reel is MUCH better!
Or somewhere In between, the silver max is great, I think it’s like 70 quid on eBay for the combo
Tha is guys

Its a quiver tip 👍🏻
Like to see more of these videos and with more AliExpress lures. The LMAB stuff is great but it starts to get a bit boring after a while

😕
Probably a bfs rod since it’s so soft

I the westin rods myself but generally prefer Shimano reels. Savage gear make very good gear too.
*ABU GARCIA WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION*
I have 4 westin rods and... 8 or 9 ambassadeurs. Ohh and a revo beast. I like ABUs gear 😂

Look at the colour 🤣🤣🤣
Next challenge is surf rod casting fiblink
Heck if you don't want it send it my way I'll take it
Good old spaghetti rod.
baitcasters are more fun than fly fishing or spinning rods imo
Grind BruH
Switch that BC to stout cheap pole
And, turn on a bird to fishing
You did not nail them well because the rod is soft, it is not valid for a single hook
.23 was probably the diameter of the braid IMO. You are correct in estimating that it was about 30lb, because thats exactly what Aliexpress says
🤣🤣🤣 that rod looks so bad, the curve looks like it has two spliced sections in the tip. Might be better used for tiny crankbaits, at least that rubber band action will keep fish on the tiny trebles
Pretty wobly 😂
Rubbish rod but to be fair I’ve used that braid before and was ok’ish. I’ve seen worse on more money 😁
First
