I have a Tsirinoya elf trout 1- 5 grams , a joy to use , biggest fish I’ve had on it a 7 lb 9 ounce pike caught on a Crazy fish crayfish on a chebraska jig

You won't be disappointed with that Rod I have the spinning version of that rod and also the casting they're great especially for the price enjoy! 🎣

the supercontinent stuff is pretty good. I havent really got much experience with creature paits but they have a 2 inch paddle tail which is good on a size 4 or 6 jighead. I have the yellow/brown coloured one you have but they must be a smaller size than yours and they dont have red eyes. Im looking forward to your trout and perch stuff :)
I’d be more into the small shads also, but everyone’s been recommending the creature baits for the larger perch so it’s worth giving a go, even tho we don’t have crawfish here in ireland I think the perch will still take them 👌 thank you, my trout season starts on March 15th, so there will be a lot more wild trout sessions on the channel then.
@@senanstanleyfishing I have seen crayfish in my area several times. some models of rubber crayfish are very well suited for perch
Have you seen crayfish in Irish freshwater ? 👀 yes I’ve used them in the past, they have lots of movement 🙌

Hey Senan, BFS is budget?? AFAIK its "bait finesse system" anyway this is a great rod. i_fish channel loves it and he is one of the biggest light tack nerds on the planet.
Hey man, I’ve heard some people call it budget fishing system and also bait finesse system, i seemed to have mixed up both in the intro 😂👌 I was in a hurry to get to the dentist 😁 all of these new methods are fun to learn, looking forward to figuring it all out 🙌

It really is a good little reel. Only thing I don’t like is the drag clicker, feels like the “clicks” are a bit far apart
I’ve only used it twice so far Richard, but it’s felt super comfortable, haven’t hooked into anything large enough to pull drag just yet 😁😂👏

Hey 👋 trout season starts on March 15th on Derg but il start back on the lake after pike around the end of February 🤙 of course, I’m very full up with bookings at the moment with limited time, so I’m unable to give out any more dates right now, I need to quit my job and fish full time to make time for it all 😂👌

Nice one! How does it work out with customs? I got hit there with customs and An Post fees recently. Off putting. Can you let us know? Also the price of the rod and reel. How was the dentist?
There’s no customs as it comes directly from china, I’ve only got stung with customs when ordering from the uk. The rod was roughly €170 and reel was around €85 ☺️✌️

That kingdom stuff was actually braid, 0.07mm 9lb braid for the reel,
I generally use 5 or 6lb maxima fleurocarbon for my leaders, all of the stuff in this video was ordered from Aliexpress :) 👌

Mepps comet or tiny wobblers, rapala countdown 3cm, fiiish power tails 🎣
Supercontinet is the top brand, I use all the products a lot, especially little minnows, no lure in world can beat that lure.. 😃😃

@senanstanleyfishing I 100% agree with you.
I personally don't like rods and reels from Ali, they don't last long, but lures, weights and braid, I'll buy it all day long. I don't like hooks from Ali as well, but Supercontinent weedless hooks for perch are extremely good.
They also have some good clothing like gloves, hats and stuff, deffo worth to look at it.
Ps: if you wonna good trout lure, get yourself a copy of Major Craft Eden. I have original and a lot of copies and there's literally no difference, only in price!! 🤣
Just done my first bfs session with the kuying Teton and genius reel couldn’t be more impressed by it super fun for perch.
Caught on supercontinent soft plastics and Chebs, good sport!

@@senanstanleyfishing Yes. It has the same concept like Genius. Nice reel over the 2.5 grams to my mind..but kestrel has more and more comfort for 1-3gr.
