How different it is to listen to one having authority from Jesus Christ than it is to hear the wild-eyed, self-absorbed, self-annointed ministers of worldly, man-made religions. This brother speaks clearly, calmly, and confidently, He knows whereof he speaks. ANYONE who recognizes the whispering of the Holy Ghost is left with no doubt as to the divinity of the Savior and the reality of His kingdom on the earth in our day, namely The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. How blessed we are to live on the earth at a time when prophets and apostles, like President Oaks, can give guidance and direction to anyone willing to listen and obey.

When I watch President Oaks speak and feel the fact that, this apostle has no guile and enjoy the superior intelligence he is gifted with, I come to understand why he now is a member of the First Presidency. The Lord needs him there.
