      Windi Hicken, The sabbath is a ceremonial law and it was fulfilled by Christ thus it has lost its religious significance and deemed obsolete. The Sabbath command was given by God to the Israelites and not the Chinese or Japanese. Gentiles were excluded from the Mosaic covenant in Ephesians 2:11-12.

      And God spake all these words, saying,
      2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
      3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
      4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
      5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
      6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
      7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
      8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
      9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
      10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
      11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
      12 ¶ Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
      13 Thou shalt not kill.
      14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
      15 Thou shalt not steal.
      16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
      17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
      Exodus 20

    My Mother would always makes sure, that everybody goes to church. Thanks to my parents

    Why sunday Christians in the comment section justifying breaking a commandment?!
    I challenge every Sunday Christian to put up on their walls “The 9 commandments”
    Watch them make excuses as to why they won’t do that.
    Because the Holy Spirit will let them know all 10 are perfect. They will feel in their spirit that it’s wrong

      @@Brandonthrill In the Bible the context is base on jewish customs, the expression "breaking of bread" is use when they shared a meal (Acts 2:42-47 ❤️)
      Jesus (Yeshua) asked to the disciples break bread/during the supper from then on, taking bread and drinking from the cup in Remembrance of Him.
      (1 Corinthians 11: 23-26 ❤)
      But the supper did not happen on a Saturday or Sunday, it happened on the first night/day of passover during a week day, before Hight Day also tread it as Sabbath: Nisan 15 (Jhon 19:31-42 ❤)
      Check the scriptures, there are tone of information if you looking for more details.

      Sorry that’s incorrect. The first day of the week is when Christ resurrected and delivered us from sin and death. We honor His atoning sacrifice which delivers us all from sin and death. The house of Israel followed the law given to Moses to prepare them for the messiah. He came and made all things new, including the sabbath day.

    the sabbath is part of the mosaic law given to Israel not to the gentile nations!.The gentiles were never ever judge by God in relation to God's Law because the Law was for Israel/Jews to obey and follow and not for gentiles.Hope that helps you understand the difference between God's chosen people and the gentiles .Please show me a biblical passage where God judged a gentile nation because they did not observed the sabbath, I will be here waiting for your answer.Good luck on that one!.

      Isaiah 56
      Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
      2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
      3 ¶ Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
      4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
      5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
      6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
      7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

      The answer to all of the differing thoughts is simple:
      Does the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have a prophet on the earth today? A great tool to know, would be to start reading the Book of Mormon. It testifies of Christ and it testifies that it is scripture. In Moroni 10 it also promises that if you read the Book of Mormon, and pray the way it instructs, that you will receive a witness.
      Scripture + promise of witness = pretty solid route to find out whether it’s true or not. But you have to read it and pray.
      “40 And he loveth those who will have him to be their God. Behold, he loved our fathers, and he covenanted with them, yea, even Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and he remembered the covenants which he had made; wherefore, he did bring them out of the land of Egypt.
      41 And he did straiten them in the wilderness with his rod; for they hardened their hearts, even as ye have; and the Lord straitened them because of their iniquity. He sent fiery flying serpents among them; and after they were bitten he prepared a way that they might be healed; and the labor which they had to perform was to look; and because of the SIMPLENESS of the way, or the easiness of it, there were many who perished.”
      And if indeed there is a prophet, it would be best to not focus on matters that would harden hearts against truths we do know.
