I love this and I hope I can do all that is aked I want to know christ more and bring him closer to me and really get to know him the lord and savior jesus christ I know hi will always give me answers and watch over me . The lord and savior jesus christ has stood by me for 71 years and has helped be through all my trials My health has always been some what bad but with is help I've carried 4 children and raised them to the best of my ability and they to this day has always been by my husband and my side I am so grateful for my heavenly fathers unconditional love and for the restoration of the gospel through joseph smith so we could have the blessing in our life that we have because of him .
The Gospel is True, the Book of Mormon is True, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is True. However, Church culture is aweful. So many members are pretentious, condescending, judgemental, and completely disconnected from the pain and realities so many of us go through. If my testimony wasn't as strong as it is and I didn't know for myself beyond the shadow of doubt of the truthfulness of it all, I wouldn't want anything to do with any of it, and I'd just assume never set foot in another Church building the rest of my life. And the reason I never want to set foot in another Church building for the rest of my life is because of the members; from the Stake President, to the Bishop, all the way down to every self righteous member holding various callings. If one can't find comfort in Christ's True Church, where can a man turn? To me, this is a sign that we truly are in the last days.
The only way is for you to get an appointment but you would probably need to go threw your Bishop and then the stake President and then you would not be able to just walking and get him to talk to you. The president of the church is very busy
That would be so awesome to sit down with the Prophet of the Lord and talk with him and ask him any question you want, I actually wrote a couple of letters to President Monson, back in 2011, and got replies from him, took about a month but that was cool, I still have those letters. Don't be surprised though if he asks you to take your concerns, and what he has told you, to the Lord as well and to ponder and pray and fast and listen to what the Holy Spirit reveals to you. Even though President Nelson is the Lords Prophet on Earth, nothing is more solidifying, more powerful then the witness of the Holy Spirit.

Whatever might give you doubts can be overcome if you hear from God about it through the Holy Ghost. Without the Spirit of God bearing testimony to us, even the prophet's words aren't enough, but God's revelation is definitely enough. Sometimes He gives us greater understanding now, and sometimes He reassures and comforts us when He knows that our learning will happen later. With time, we realize that the things that troubled us before aren't worth the trouble; eventually, everything makes a whole lot of sense, even if it might not be exactly what we were expecting. Exercise faith and seek knowledge from God through prayer. Remember Hebrews 11:6, which reads, "he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Secondarily, if you have particular questions about things that are giving you doubts, there are those of us who have studied many such things pretty extensively, and we might have answers that you will find very suitable, so you can feel free to ask about it in case we do.
Our merciful Lord has blessed us with a prophet in these latter days...President Nelson is here to GUIDE us. But we need to Seek Him...Ask Him...and Hear Him...we need to gain our OWN testimony of our Savior...gain our OWN personal revelation for ourselves about the truthfulness of these things and things to come. We are responsible for our salvation brothers and sisters.

I fell asleep to classical music a number of years ago and woke up to the sweetest, most beautiful feeling in the room. Not sure what it was but it was remarkable

In this talk he tells us to do family history work and indexing, to learn to listen to God’s voice, to turn to the Savior when we are surrounded by uncertainty and fear, we will be guided to know what to do in any circumstance. We can have joy, success and Happiness as we Hear Him. We need to be more intentional to Hear Him! We need to seek after Him!
I'm glad you are humble enough to admit you can always do more. I know I fall very short when it comes to having enough faith and trust in the Lord regardless of things going on around us. I wish more people were willing to be humble enough to realize they are not perfect but are constantly being given the chance to learn and grow everyday.

The only thing I fear is that I'm not spiritually strong enough for the time of tribulations... it increasingly looks like the 42 months of tribulations begins around April 2021. So, 6 months to prepare, 6 months to listen and submit to the guidance of the spirit. I hope I haven't left it too late as we're at the hingepoint now. I just hope I'm not the foolish virgin without oil in my lamp.
I too fear that I am not spiritually strong enough for these days, but now I know... by myself I am not. With Heavenly Father, I am. Keep him close, go to the temple often, read the Book of Mormon daily, ask questions, make tiny goals. Trust him that when times are hard, he will strengthen you as you reach to him. ❤

The only thing I fear is that I'm not spiritually strong enough for the time of tribulations... it increasingly looks like the 42 months of tribulations begins around April 2021. So, 6 months to prepare, 6 months to listen and submit to the guidance of the spirit.
I hope I haven't left it too late as we're at the hingepoint now. I just hope I'm not the foolish virgin without oil in my lamp.
I too fear that I am not spiritually strong enough for these days, but now I know... by myself I am not. With Heavenly Father, I am. Keep him close, go to the temple often, read the Book of Mormon daily, ask questions, make tiny goals. Trust him that when times are hard, he will strengthen you as you reach to him. ❤
