@Dukesloth, I tested the puple Redono(from quest line) compared to the one from sirens brute, and they both have exactly 8 secs regen time for full bar, compared to no charm at 12 secs. Just wanted to throw it out there, saying it doesn't matter to get it RN, but hopefully it will be fixed in few hours, I left a feedback message for them ingame notifying AGS about this aswell.
I know the Sirens farm is by far the easiest one to get Dark Matter, but its worth mentioning Vocus/Myrk can actually yield you x2 the Dark Matter (legendaries salvagad) if youre farming ALL of the elites in the Area while waiting for that 6 minutes Vocus respawn. Its hard to do properly so I know why you didnt mention it, but its still viable.
Yeah I was hoping groups would be doing that, but everyone on my server just wanted to sit at Vocus, meaning no one can leave since you might miss respawn :/
99% of players farming brute ignore the mob above the gate. What I did was put on a ranged weapon and stayed up top until I saw an orange beam in the bags from brute, then I would jump down, loot it and go back up until the next orange bag.
25% regeneration rate is still quite decent, even if it doesn't make much difference in races still having more stamina regen is always good as it is sometimes needed in pvp senarios.
Boost to dash recharge rate is the best of all mount charms. It benefits both on road and off road. The charms that boost dash speed only when on road etc are only specific to their conditions and so when ur offroad for example, ur losing an entire charm effect. Stamina recharge rate is good for both of them and Id argue gives basically the same value as speed since you are dashing more often anyway

While I appreciate the charms not being busted... I would also like there to be more of a measurable difference in using different charms. I unno maybe asking for it to be "better" is like a monkey paw so I wont.
A group of 5 solid dps or 1 healer like we did farming brute was solid. We killed him 10-15 times and i and one other got the charm in that time. No one on my server wanted to go to sirens until I linked the charm in chat then suddenly I needed a raid group
For upgrading named drops, even if it is posted as 626-700 or 650-700 on nwdb, it CAN drop at lower gear score than that and CAN be upgraded to 700. I was able to upgrade a Taiyi Void Gauntlet from 526 gear score to 700 in the kiln.
Ngl, i got the onroad charm after more than a week trying and using it on race influence i don't see any difference in speed, i run at the same pace as everyone else, considering this charm is ultra rare.

I'd be curious to see a comparison of different swap techs. I use the boost charms(either onroad or offroad depending on terrain) then swap to recharge when stamina is depleted.
I've been farming the brute for a couple of days now with no drop - I was unaware the little mob up top can also drop the charm - so I my question is, is it possible to drop this item more than once, as I've been killing the mob up top from down below and ofc not checking the loot, so could I have missed the drop?
Can't speak to whether this is a one time drop, but if you don't pick up an artifact, a one time drop, it counts as getting it, and would likely be the same for the charm if it is a one time drop.@@natehiggers42069
When you use low pecentages on low numbers or weak abilities in the first place, the outcome will always be dissapointing. Most of the time we are talking about 5-10% bonus from a Perk which is insanly low by all means. (Especially when you see the base Stats.) For me, this one of the reasons most stuff in NW feel "similar" or "generic" to me - Except the actual Meta stuff which is most likely broken or to be nerfed in future.
Farmed strata for 20+ hrs and still hasn't dropped with full luck and luck trophies....making me doubt luck even has an effect. My friend with 0 luck got it to drop in 6 kills.
I saw Bethesda destroy ESO. And now after couple good steps, AGS is going in the same direction. Change after change for bo reason. Umbral to Darkmater pushing leves in everything. And the same thing Helaers and Tanks dying. Expeditions with a healer and Tank, you just really need for M3. PvP with healers and tanks? Why if you can heals like a crazy and hold so many dmg in a light or medium armor. This is so wrong.
I haven't watched this yet, but I'm about to be absolutely triggered if you tell me I farmed the wrong one. Edit: Okay I farmed the right one. We are good. Pheww.

Farmed brute 3hrs and got it, farmed myrk for a week 1 hour and some a day still nothing

Its confirmed that named gear doesnt have to be 650 or greater to upgarde to 700. Had pieces at 630 upgraded to 700

10/18 - looks like the Siren's farm is nerfed; you can't get up to the one spot anymore and Brute spawn is slower.

Correct me if im wrong but cant you swap charms while riding? Swap to recharge rate after dash then swap back and it should be more speed
You can freely swap them. When dashing I use the onroad charm and when recharging I use the recharge one then repeat.

I have a feeling that “Large” means like 5%…. really needs to be like 25% to make an actual gameplay difference, and redono probably needs to be 50%.
Larger capacity is best. Use until 0, swap for faster recharge, recharge to 100, swap back to larger capacity to automatically get 130

If you've never picked it up, youve still not "gotten" it. You wont be locked out of it
