GENTLEMEN, I am here to spread some good news. I was very very hestitant to jump into this game. I read the reviews. I am as non bias as it gets. With that said ive really enjoyed it so much. Im almost to the level cap and tbh i wasnt sure why it was getting so much hate. Try it for yourself youll be surprised.
I started a month ago and I absolutely fell in love with the combat feeling of this game. There is a lot of activity on new servers and almost every activity finds a group in max 5 min. I did the missions on the battlepass and at lvl 70 I decided to buy the premium + to finish all the levels. Can't wait for season 5 even if it's delayed 😊
@@Mhozyy i know this is a month late but it never hurts to take a break for a few weeks or even months if a game gets boring, i wouldnt worry about missing out too much since it'll only hurt you in the long run (im an ex destiny 2 player, so i definitely know what thats like lmao).
Just hopped on my main after a long break and my character is absolutely stacked to the point where all I can really do is collect transmog and furnish my houses so I’m looking forward to playing fresh start worlds with new players!
new player here also played the beta on xbox loved it now got the base game on pc. play with a controller a few problems manly x button not working now and then for some reson ?
Yeah, there are some issues, if your on PC be sure to disable steam input, that seems to solve a lot of the issues. Aeternum (the beta build) doesn't seem to have those issues, and runs a whole lot better.
I’d love to see some updated guides on a survivability solo build. I hit 65 but I don’t have people to run around with, and finishing out the MSQ is getting difficult to solo.
So, for a returning player....do you recommend heading to a fresh start server? Also, did I see correctly that there's only 3 NA East servers? And if you recommend moving your old character, what are your suggestions for NA East?
I personally don’t recommend fresh starts as they can feel isolated for a while. Meaning, over time it won’t be fresh so if you’re starting now there isn’t any difference except who can transfer onto your server

Im actually feeling more optimistic on the direction now, if fbey can they should step it up a little more if they want money, honestly they should make a season or two for free for people who bought at the start at least.
The game is completely different to the beta, I’ve played on and off since launch and the game has came on leaps and bounds, you’ll get 100s if not thousands of hours of enjoyment, worth the buy although right now it’s in abit of a rough patch for the hardcore players, don’t let that discourage you tho

Just came back to New World Today. was enjoying the game until I tried using Gear sets. I clicked the button to put my equipped gear on my gear sets, and only the consumable items went over, and everything else stayed empty. My character immediately lost all his gear and was reduced to unarmed and in his underwear, and I can nolonger equip any of my gear. Gear set won't equip because it's empty, except for the consumables, and all my gear now says restricted, and can not be equipped. Everything I worked for when I first played New World on this character is now just gone. Did some digging. Apparently, they rebalanced all the gear, so gear that I used to use, is now been restricted to higher levels, and without warning, if you unequip it, or save it to a Gear Set, the game automatically rebalances it, and ups the level restriction, so you can't use it anymore. So now I have absolutely no usable equipment, and not enough coins to replace any of my gear, and since I'm naked and unarmed I can't even do quests, and survive combat enough to level up to finally be high enough level to use the gear I was already using, gear I spent a lot of time putting together to suit my playstyle. I don't think I've ever had a returning player experience make me so angry I hate a game. They should have just put a warning for returning players, telling us not to use any of the new features until we reached max level, or our characters were going to get ruined, and made unplayable.
@@Joao-cy2bz I would but I had nothing. id spent almost everything I had on the gear I had been wearing down to a few coins with items in auction that are gone and not reimbursed(which I existed because I quit while they were in aydin but it's been frystrated with hands bugs so didn't want to pay for a while back then). Also I didn't want to be running through town in my underwear begging for gold to buy clothes and weapons. Couldn't even recall to inn because I guess I was gone too long to still have an inn linked and had forgotten about that feature beige I left town to go start the mount quest. I didn't even have my faction anymore and I had joined the Syndicate, so I guess that changed too, and I needed to rejoin, but overall, I was just so frustrated and pissed off after being stranded with nothing, that I just didn't even want to look at the game anymore. If they wanted to rebalanced my gear, they should have lowered its stats, not stripped me of it.
This Game is an absolute BLAST!!!! Like any MMO tedious happens but I found the story keeping me very interested, the skill progression on weapons awesome, graphics fantastic and combat just awesome. Check this out and F the haters on social media
I haven’t played since the game came out and quit after a couple of weeks. But you said the magic word of Transmuting now in game. That’s enough to get me back into the game. Only issue/question I have is what happens to all my twitch drops I already acquired on my old character if I decide to make a new character on a different world. Would o be able to get anything I claimed already or do I lose it?
Your character will be saved on the world/server played not sure if diff char on same world gets those treats if bop, bind on pickup/bound to player then nope. I made a guild and invited my Alt it's good for some things. If item is tradeable, then there are things you can do for your alt.( I buy order with alt and filled order in tp to give my alt good drops.)15usd can transfer character/s to new server with all the goodies maybe even the entire account (up to 3 char). See the store if says for character transfer or account xfer. Other than that if you make a new char on new server then it's a new char on a new server. Some servers are no xfer so choose wisely... one more thing. Seems to be a bug for some returning players with main quest. Ags has been asking for details to issues so they can find the problems. But yea MQ seems to be bugged for lots of folks returning. Seems like new characters on old accounts are doing fine. Welcome back!! Any questions, hmu. I'm 2k hours and lovin' it

Yeah-no. GW2 does it, and this game is doing it. Do not charge $$ for transmogs. Full-stop. It's not fair, especially at 10 charges for 20$. Absolutely insane.
This doesn't matter if you love the game because you should play any game you love but this game is dead as of this date. Things could change but all the bots would have to get banned and who knows if that is happening.

The game lacks a population...so, crafting is a blast! You don't die from PVP and you can Level by crafting alone. Biggest downside is that you can't play it when the power goes out in your area.
So far ive had to re open this video 3 times as new world cant find any product information and i have to re start pc. Heres hoping i can make it through either the video or the new world loading screen final boss
made it through the most intense boss in gaming finally, couple wipes, couple hours of attempts. now im finally ready to watch the video and learn bout the game. 10/10 would recommend
Sorry to hear the game kept crashing out on you, if you have decent internet, I'd recommend giving the game a shot on GFN as it really does run the game in the best way.
Its a great game but there's no reason to come back.... There's no content. The only thing to do is World Tours for crap gear. PVP or OPR and run the same dungeons over and over again.... PVE is dead.
Returning players are just a fact, it doesn't take much effort, but perhaps you don't have the view and engagement that I have on the subject. So, no worries if you can't see returning players.
Im a returning player, and i got like 10 friends coming back with me on the controller update, i know a dominican guy that is bringing his pals from black dessert and they like 15 people, many players will be returning to new world on this next patch
Folks...do yourself a favor and avoid this game. It's not worth your money. The player base is almost non-existent. If you decide to dive into it, you've been warned.

Have they fixed the lag and exploits in PvP? I played at launch and it was a massive problem.
Yes, but they're still might be some that pop in, they had a bug in season 5, but that has sense been fixed.

Buy some cheap itens in the market until you get higher levels, its sad that you have to do this butits what i would do.

Games not worth it, end game content is gatekept by the same handful of companies on every server.
Depends on what you consider end game content.... It's mainly a PvP based game so that's your endgame which you clearly dislike..

Not much pve content. The mobs doesn't have that much diversity.
