Great review man. Thanks for taking the time to include important details, like hitting the buttons with gloves on being suboptimal. That's super helpful.
The unit had serious potential.A coue of quirks but all in all a solid unit.I got serious battery drain from the device when i was using an arisaka ir head. With the Kiji the issue went away.Hopefully he gets back to making them someday.
I've always thought having a double kiji, one 3 degree and the other 10, would be perfect for transitioning from cqb distance to outdoors. Dedicated white light on the side of the gun with separate buttons so you don't accidentally ND
This guy should take his website down. I've been hoping he was just making them really slowly. He's giving us false hope for something we all desperately need for out night setups.
that’s all good except you can’t get one. they’ve been out of stock for over a year. i talked to the owner and he said they were in the middle of a new design that would be released in early 2023 but alas, nothing yet.
too bad you can not aim the illuminator, if your point of impact is off center or out of the beam you are SOL, the Kiji can perform out to distance but without adjustments for A & E you are at the mercy of how things line up.

I feel like we need to send something to PSA and have them take over production
Phantom Hill stuff has the color scheme of early 2000s spy toys I grew up with and it's hilarious.
Thats unlocked some forgotten memories man 😂
Would LOVE to have one these. Too bad they have been out of stock for like 2 years with zero updates, info, or email replies from the manufacturer.
The owner said he shut the business down.
@@ChevTecGroupWish the website would say that. Or better yet, be shut down entirely.
This was easily one of the only decent quality and priced LAM options on the market. Seriously sucks that he gave up on them.
They're back. Pre-orders open

I was figuring I’d buy one of these if I ever got into NV.
Oof
Landed one of these used before i even had nods. Too good of a solution to not jump at the opportunity.
Dang I hope these come back with some further improvements. Seems like a great option for the average Joe!

Tbh I was more interested in the 18650 model he had been hinting at which gave me pause to buy it during launch.
Sad to see these are probably discontinued, they have a ton of potential
Freakin' Lasers 💥
You rock

Pretty heavy and expensive option instead of just using the included 10 degree diffuser that the 3 degree comes with
on paper that looks like the best option for a normal person

Agreed; no point for it to be there if he's not making them.
He has told a few people that he closed up shop. Pretty sad
Yea, I would like to have one as well…
FYI, the company has been bought out and is now called CTF Photonics. They are supposed to release the CTF-3 at the end of October.
These are almost unobtainable, I wish I could find one…
I love mine. I use to use a kiji 3° but the Zbolt IR blazer is the way to go

Hoping I can find a used one for a reasonable price…
Been out of stock for like 2yrs lol.

This makes me sad. I've been trying to buy one of these for like 2 years.
Zenitco Perst 2 and Perst Leader were great till prices went apeshit.
CTF2 is 3d printed aluminum. The CTF3 was going to be fully machined aluminum.
CTF2 no longer in production he closed shop
