GGG tried to show some emotion. But I watched the USMNT year in review video... In it they show some speeches that GGG gave his team trying to pump them up and whatnot. And I have to say... The man's personality and charisma just puts me to sleep. His voice is as boring and monotone as you get. And his presence feels like he's just some random dude on staff. It's no wonder he struggles. Just watching him and listening to him in those locker room speeches just makes me feel like watching paint dry would get me more excited. And the players kinda reflect that as well. As they mostly just sat there and listened. And Arriola trying to be a locker room leader... What a joke. No leadership, charisma, or enthusiasm in that locker room at all.
It's a shame he doesn't meet your approval. Good thing he has brought us the best year in USMNT history and one of the best records as a USMNT coach. So I guess in the end, no one cares what you or I think as long as he keeps getting results.
@@ilovethem9990 Yeah whatever. He's not gotten any huge results to me. I won't think of him as some amazing coach unless he wins the World Cup. Or at least gets us to the semi-finals. If he does that then I know this team will have beaten some real quality teams to get there. Right now in CONCACAF competition Mexico is the only quality team we beat. Canada is getting better but it's hard to say they are a Real quality team just yet. I used to just get behind CONCACAF and defend it like crazy... But I've kinda gotten to where I think we should beat Everyone in CONCACAF pretty handily at this point. Nobody in this region is interesting to me anymore except USA, Mexico, and Canada. This region needs help from the bottom up bad. So yeah GGG needs to prove what he's worth in the World Cup. Then I might sing his praises. lol

But we really need to add European giants and South American giants to our schedule. And play well against them. Beating the One other quality team in our region is great... But beating fricking France, England, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Uruguay, Columbia, Argentina, or Brazil is what we need to work towards. Because those are the teams that are going to be standing in our way in the World Cup. Plain and simple. And winning the Gold Cup is great. But considering no one outside of CONCACAF plays in it... It's kinda Almost always either ours or Mexico's to win. Same with the new Nations League. You can't get better just beating the same team over and over again. Even if that team is kind of good. You need different opponents to mix it up with. Not just the quality of Mexico, the up and coming Canada, and all the f'n other Central American/Caribbean teams that all do the same ole "Park the bus and maybe counter" strategy. We gotta play against ALL styles of play. ALL levels of competition. And we don't get that in CONCACAF.

Bc countries play against countries in their conference for pretty much every other tournament. Counting that against the US is the dumbest shit ever.
