Relying on Bryce (Noah Taylor) for surveillance, Lara (Angelina Jolie) takes out a number of henchman, but not before they get what they came for.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A popular video game comes to the screen with this big-budget adventure starring Angelina Jolie as a buxom heroine recalling equal parts Indiana Jones and James Bond. Jolie is Lara Croft, a proper British aristocrat groomed at schools for the children of the elite. Croft leads a double life, however, as an acquirer of lost antiquities through questionable means, highly trained in combat skills with the help of a robotic opponent called Simon. Despite her exciting profession and a life of wealth and breeding, Lara pines for her father, Lord Croft (Jon Voight), whose passing left her orphaned. On the eve of a celestial event that will also mark the anniversary of Lord Croft's death, Lara comes up against an ancient organization called the Illuminati, represented by the sinister Powell (Iain Glen), who's in pursuit of an ancient relic with power over time and even death itself. With the aid of her high-tech support team, Lara travels to some exotic locales in search of the artifact, including a foray into a decrepit Asian temple guarded by lethal stone apes and other creatures that spring to life. Filmed at various locations in Great Britain as well as Iceland and the Angkor Wat temples of Cambodia, Tomb Raider co-stars Noah Taylor, Chris Barrie, Daniel Craig, Rachel Appleton, Leslie Phillips, Mark Collie, and Julian Rhind-Tutt.

This movie was and still is ridiculous fun. The cast was perfect. Jolie was perfect. And the Butler unloading that shotgun was absolutely sublime.
It's severely sad how people dislike this movie.

i remember thinking this whole house break in scene was the most badass thing ever when i was a preteen. i even dressed up as lara croft for halloween once when i was younger. now i see how cheesy the movie was but it still brings back good memories and i am grateful that i had such an awesome female idol as a kid. :)

This movie is dumb but in good way mostly the point where this movie become dumb in bad way is when they found that time travel machine everything after that is dumb i still dont know what that scene with running on pyramid mean
@@Extreme96PL It's a popcorn flick. I think some people expected way too much as the games aren't Oscar winning story-wise either. I still enjoy this movie. It has some good action and adventuring fun in it.

Never realised that Lara never actually kills anyone in this movie compared to the games, she just knocks them out or incapitates them in some fashion. Killing the stone monsters in Cambodia doesn't count either since they're just made of rock. Probably to keep the rating down so people of all ages could see it.
It kind of feels left hanging in the air to me. Like some parts look and sound pretty rough by real life standards, like the smash through the stone railing, or when Lara flies around with a knife, or other stuff that's not really shown to the viewer. But overall the scene does feel upbeat and not that "dark", compared to some other movies even within the same rating.
OK #1 is standing by The Aston Martin

I believe it's some type of pressurized air gun.
It's the air gun you use to adjust wheel nut (Like Nascar). I have never used one, but i believe it's possible if you remove the head adapter. Knock Out Machine! Hahaha

He was wearing NVGs and she'd just turned on all the car's headlights which blinded him. If you've ever worn NVGs you'd know what this is like.
yes I wore NVGs as a Cadet, and not only you do you lose Peripheral vision, but it hurts like hell when someone shines a light at you.
