Adrienne is on point with the meme quotation. A male friend told me if a guy who has money only buys things for you that is easy for him just as if a guy who doesnt have a job spends time with you that is easy for him as he doesnt have anywhere to be, but it's more impressive when the guy who has money gives you time as that is more important to him and it's how he makes his money so that's a real sacrifice and show of commitment on his part.

My father showered my mother with gifts when they were dating but abandoned her after she started having kids. He walked out and never looked back. My brother is 27, I'm 24 and the youngest is 20.
