Episode 24 is by far, the W O R S T. At least Episode 5 had some good boarding and decent animation during certain cuts. Episode 24 has no redeeming qualities.

It was also a neat little plot twist, and I believe that's why they put Buu into the intro. So that the Frieza recruitment would be a surprise. I've NEVER watched Episode 68 in Japanese OR English dub. Mainly because of all of the points you mentioned like the characters acting EXTREMELY out of character. My biggest gripe was if Goku gathered the balls to wish back King Kai; WHY THE HELL DID HE NOT JUST DO IT?!?! He's already selfish about a lot of things in his life, why not just put his foot down (without cracking the planet in half or anything lol) and say; "I'M WISHING BACK THE MENTOR I KILLED...ACCIDENTALLY...because his death was a result of me saving the planet from Cell's explosion!" Geez, would've been a dick move but...he could've said that to stop Gohan from using a wish on Pan because if Gohan had killed Cell when he was supposed to then King Kai's death and his planet exploding wouldn't have happened but hey just saying... And yes, if Goku DID NOT gather the balls when he did...what would Gohan and Videl have done to heal Pan? I mean they're one of the wealthiest families in the Dragon World. Are you telling me they've tried getting doctors to cure their daughter? Are you saying Mr. Satan would not have gotten the BEST doctors on the phone to check on his granddaughter in a heartbeat? Couldn't Buu use his healing magic on her? Also, Goku disrespects King Kai the MOST out of all of his mentors if you ask me. Eating him out of house and home along with wrecking his planet with his training. Good grief, the least you could do is wish him back. Biggest b**** of the episode? I love this episode, I think it's funny as hell. Dragon Ball isn't so serious that characters can't act a little out of wack one episode. You really should give it a try, it's still Dragon Ball.

Gohan didn't need the dragon to heal Pan since their are plenty of doctors who can treat Pan, I never notice the thing with 18 but you think after having one universe destroy because a god got super salty she have a little more respect for them, and so on.

They said the medicine did not work on her sickness because of her Saiyan blood. She is a little baby, Trunks/Goten/Gohan can deal with a cold as kids/adults, a common cold can kill a baby if left untreated. I don't think it's fair criticism.
The final episode of the Future Trunks arc is my least favorite episode of the entire series. They spent all those episodes fighting to save Trunks' future and Zeno pops up and wipes it out like it was nothing. You'd think the god of everything could come up with a better solution to stop Zamasu besides erasing an entire reality! And then Trunks and Mai just shrugged their shoulders and fucked off to another alternative timeline. REALLY?? Trunks should've been pissed that the world he fought for was gone! He should have went to gather the Super Dragon Balls to bring it all back, but no. "Screw all that, I'm moving to another timeline!" What a joke.
On the bright side , yayy foursome for trunks ! Seriously though, thats lazy writing, thats escapism , a cheap way to for the characters to have a happy ending without them earning it, what they should do is let trunks stay in the main timeline to cope with his failure instead of running away from it .
Zeno is "god of everything" in name only, he's nothing more but a child with no concept of morality. He was also never shown to be even remotely smart and erasing things just because he doesn't like them fits perfectly into his character. Also while the ending was definitely rushed and it was by far the worst thing about this entire arc, it was refreshing to see that the good guys FINALLY didn't completely win. There are already a lot of happy endings in DB - there was no need for another one.

+blackphoenix77 He already had one, arguably even two - he killed Future 17 and 18, he even stopped Buu from reviving. There's no need for a happy ending in every single arc, this one was refreshing - while Zamasu ultimately did die in the end, he accomplished his goal right before his defeat. It just shows that he was a good villain and one who was really dangerous. Zamasu deserved to get a worthy ending more than Trunks deserved another happy one.
I remember from one Ginyu episode (in Rof, I don't remember the number) Ginyu after changing bodies with Tagoma powers up to full, and Jaco says: "Ginyu can draw out full power from Tagoma, he's the type of creature who can do that!" I was like.... wut? The entire reason Ginyu lost back on Namek was because he couldn't do that. He couldn't use most of the strength in Goku's body, he lost to Krillin and Gohan, Vegeta laughed and then jumped in and finished him with two hits. You don't have to be some DBZ guru to know that, It's like the writers never even gave it one watch-through.
The worst episode in DB Super is that one where everyone is fighting over a wish originally Goku was gonna wish back King Kai to life and ends up not being wished back.

I actually did not see Ep 30. But it looks like a waste. Also, Piccolo forgot the stretchy arms before he got eliminated. Oh, he did not hear Damon, even though he’s suppose to. Especially if 17 could hear him. That’s what bugs me the most from that elimination.
That whole episode was garbage, all 3 characters were weak but had special abilities but didn't work as a team when they should've, piccolos elimination was so sloppy....the worst for U7 I only watched that episode twice thank god
Actually ep. 30 isn't bad, but the fact that half of the episode was about what happened 1 and 2 episodes ago...that's what it makes it very bad. But if you start Super with episode 30 then it's actually good. ps. also very good point about Piccolo, he was the wrong choice for that elimination (because of his good hearing and stretchy arms).

I won't be surprised if I see people asking "Where's Episode 5?" It's not a bad episode, yes the art was sloppy during the Goku vs Beerus fight but at least it continued the story unlike episode 4. Great video as always.

+TheFlash10K 10k Seriously? Him using SSJ3 would make far LESS sense seeing how terrible this form is when it comes to burning stamina. It's just a completely useless form which exists to basically look cool - it's far weaker and far less stable than SSJB and while it's stronger than SSJ2, ultimately the latter is still a better option since it's far easier to mantain. Overall it was just a huge tribute to Broly and on top of that Goku wasn't at his best at all seeing how Kale ultimately failed to hurt him in any way.
Definitely gotta agree with the number two pick. Worst part of it for me was the teasing of the finally bringing King Kai back to life, which should have been done long ago, it's been years even in universe, only done as a blatant 'we're not actually going to do it as a poor joke' kind of thing.
Dragon Ball Super is one of those shows that completely leans on its predecessors in order to stay relevant and be considered good. When you watch other anime, DBS just does not hold up. Jumping the shark, poor characterization, convenient and convoluted writing, ridiculous pacing issues, and little in the way of stakes or tension because of the gods. DBZ was heavily flawed, but at least it had atmosphere and tension, along with good direction and good treatment of most of its characters.

Goku died due to a heart condition and it took Trunks going back in time with medicine made for Saiyans to cure him. The other Saiyan characters never had this condition because just because one person gets sick doesn't mean everyone gets sick. If the doctors couldn't save Goku do to a disease unique to his Saiyan biology then the same would be true for the others if its unique Gohan can't wait for some time traveler from the future to concoct a Saiyan cure so he used the Dragonballs.

I'm surprised you didn't pick the last 2 episodes of the Goku Black arc (eps 66-67), which were a complete and utter mess IMO because the writers had no idea how to properly end the arc. From them retconing the potara fusion so we only got a couple minutes with Vegito (which really pissed me off), and then all of a sudden Trunks becomes Jesus and pulls off this spirit bomb sword technique out of nowhere, and then Zeno comes to erase the future timeline, I think most of the fandom agrees that these episodes failed big time and almost ruin the entire arc.
Anything with the girl saiyans. Also that love universe was pretty cringy. I hate how universe 6 saiyans can achieve in minutes what took goku and vegeta years to accomplish.

I LOVE DB Super, but I completely agree with your bad episodes and especially Piccolo getting eliminated so stuipidly. Why oh why did they not do "the other Namics are about to lose, but they would rather Universe 7 win than the other ones, so they both offer Piccolo to absorb them. Then Piccolo could suddenly be at least close to SSJ god tier. You could make Piccolo viable again. I WANT MORE PICCOLO! Also, I love Ginyu and they mucked him up.
Although 119 was still the worst episode of ToP, rewatching I was mildly entertained, not as bad as I remembered at all. Agreed that they completely wasted Piccolo, Quintela and Universe 9.
The only good parts of RoF arc were Tagoma's role (though even that was butchered when Ginyu showed up...) and a pretty decent Vegeta vs Frieza fight. Other than that this arc was terrible.

Last epizode of Black Goku arc, because wtf!? I mean, may be second half of this epizode was cool, but I forgot everything except the moment when future Trunks saw Gohan for last time in his life, but first half, i remember it too well... I cried on both halfs, in second because as I said Trunks in that part saw Gohan for last time in his life, future Gohan is one of my favourite characters and stuff like that, but in first part I cried because of pain.
Hey Geekdom I have a cool theory no ones thought about when it comes to the Broly movie!! I have a feeling that Broly at one point was so strong he was destroying galaxies and maybe universes (from universe 13-18) . Since he was destroying all this stuff the morality rate or whatever it’s called was super low for these universes, so that’s why Zeno intervened and erased the 5 universes- because of Broly’s destruction. And when he erased all of the universes it’s most likely Broly and his dad were also erased. And when 17 wished the universes to be brought back, he accidentally wished universe 13-18, thus bringing back Broly!! This makes sense because in the trailer it’s shown Broly was getting stronger quickly... Maybe that’s because it’s muscle memory and he used to be that friggin powerful!! I don’t know, just a cool theory I thought of while watching your videos. I hope you see this man I’m a big fan, cheers !

He then gets a bunch of bullshit powerups that ultimately do nothing to forward the plot. A lot of people like Ultimate Gohan, but tell me: What has he accomplished? He always goes on about how he dislikes fighting, but that doesn't mean you should just quit. A lot of people hate their jobs, but does that stop them? Gohan is the embodiment of what I hate in a person.

*warning this shit is pretty long(pause)* The anime was good, but I agree what really made me think it was crazy was plot holes and power scaling, and I think some of the fanbase made it worst, people saying goku surpassed Beerus with the next form that came out(which none of it was confirmed, and it's still not) and all they say is goku> Beerus without a valid argument, either that or we were teased by the directors to get hyped up, a god who has lived for so many years gets surpassed easily, yeah... I doubt that. Than so many mysteries on other villains with no back stories on why they have so much evil in them, but without all of that there was always something unique that made dbs grow in popularity and by a huge margin too. I would say it was because on how powerful the characters really were and the huge explosions of their cosmic and godly powers, mainly the gods of destruction and other gods like zamasu and goku black ( you can say toppo to), than we have heroes like vegeta and goku that we saw come closer together, and it just hit us that it was really cool to see them bond if I had to pick a character(s) with the greatest character development, it would be Beerus and whis, two immsenly, powerful, ans un-surpassable deities that grew closer to mortals that they probably never thought they would come close too. It's just not the food but they grew closer to them in general I would also add vegeta to this too.
Your last one, you have to think about the FACT that the show took breaks in between airing one to the next which is why they did recaps they kept that in mind for the audeince, it could be anyone's first time watchin DBS.. And I know you remember having to wait a week or even a few months to watch the next episode. Dont act like we woke up every Saturday to this we didnt. we had to wait. Fresh creative storytelling and animation takes time and loads of lore building. If you think they moved forward without considering how the characters were in Z your mistaken. These are the same characters, but in today's time for us. they have to make it relevant to 2018 way of thinking.. i dont want no dated shit that happened in Z to remain the staus quo of how a character was supposed to be. Thats flawed af bro. Yall wanna see new shit right? just cause we see a character like ginyu for what he was able to do back then he should be able to do that and more in today's time with a much better stolen body than he has ever had in the past. its not head cannon cause someone has to explain things to you cause you didnt hear it come straight from the horses mouth. Do you need to actually hear toriama say "Oh yes, ginyu is a very skilled captain and warrior, he has been around for a very long time and can upon taking someone body completely understand what that body is at base wise capable of.. then go from there as he continues to stay and fight in that vessel" . Resurrection of Frieza was a complete waste of time. Also, I didn't like that Majin Buu fake-out episode that they did where he was "training", suddenly thinner and stronger than he was, getting ready for the tournament. Only for them to revert as if none of that happened at all.

I've NEVER watched Episode 68 in Japanese OR English dub. Mainly because of all of the points you mentioned like the characters acting EXTREMELY out of character.
My biggest gripe was if Goku gathered the balls to wish back King Kai; WHY THE HELL DID HE NOT JUST DO IT?!?! He's already selfish about a lot of things in his life, why not just put his foot down (without cracking the planet in half or anything lol) and say; "I'M WISHING BACK THE MENTOR I KILLED...ACCIDENTALLY...because his death was a result of me saving the planet from Cell's explosion!"
Geez, would've been a dick move but...he could've said that to stop Gohan from using a wish on Pan because if Gohan had killed Cell when he was supposed to then King Kai's death and his planet exploding wouldn't have happened but hey just saying...
And yes, if Goku DID NOT gather the balls when he did...what would Gohan and Videl have done to heal Pan? I mean they're one of the wealthiest families in the Dragon World. Are you telling me they've tried getting doctors to cure their daughter? Are you saying Mr. Satan would not have gotten the BEST doctors on the phone to check on his granddaughter in a heartbeat?

I love this episode, I think it's funny as hell. Dragon Ball isn't so serious that characters can't act a little out of wack one episode. You really should give it a try, it's still Dragon Ball.
It still being Dragon Ball isn't an excuse for bad writing. Gohan didn't need the dragon to heal Pan since their are plenty of doctors who can treat Pan, I never notice the thing with 18 but you think after having one universe destroy because a god got super salty she have a little more respect for them, and so on.
Man that sound like some bad writing. Than how did Gohan, Goten, or even Trunks get heal when they were sick? Did ChiChi or Bulma went hunting for the dragon balls everytime one of them catch as so much as a common cold?
They said the medicine did not work on her sickness because of her Saiyan blood. She is a little baby, Trunks/Goten/Gohan can deal with a cold as kids/adults, a common cold can kill a baby if left untreated. I don't think it's fair criticism.
The final episode of the Future Trunks arc is my least favorite episode of the entire series. They spent all those episodes fighting to save Trunks' future and Zeno pops up and wipes it out like it was nothing. You'd think the god of everything could come up with a better solution to stop Zamasu besides erasing an entire reality! And then Trunks and Mai just shrugged their shoulders and fucked off to another alternative timeline. REALLY?? Trunks should've been pissed that the world he fought for was gone! He should have went to gather the Super Dragon Balls to bring it all back, but no. "Screw all that, I'm moving to another timeline!" What a joke.
On the bright side , yayy foursome for trunks ! Seriously though, thats lazy writing, thats escapism , a cheap way to for the characters to have a happy ending without them earning it, what they should do is let trunks stay in the main timeline to cope with his failure instead of running away from it .
Zeno is "god of everything" in name only, he's nothing more but a child with no concept of morality. He was also never shown to be even remotely smart and erasing things just because he doesn't like them fits perfectly into his character. Also while the ending was definitely rushed and it was by far the worst thing about this entire arc, it was refreshing to see that the good guys FINALLY didn't completely win. There are already a lot of happy endings in DB - there was no need for another one.

He already had one, arguably even two - he killed Future 17 and 18, he even stopped Buu from reviving. There's no need for a happy ending in every single arc, this one was refreshing - while Zamasu ultimately did die in the end, he accomplished his goal right before his defeat. It just shows that he was a good villain and one who was really dangerous. Zamasu deserved to get a worthy ending more than Trunks deserved another happy one.

I remember from one Ginyu episode (in Rof, I don't remember the number) Ginyu after changing bodies with Tagoma powers up to full, and Jaco says: "Ginyu can draw out full power from Tagoma, he's the type of creature who can do that!" I was like.... wut? The entire reason Ginyu lost back on Namek was because he couldn't do that. He couldn't use most of the strength in Goku's body, he lost to Krillin and Gohan, Vegeta laughed and then jumped in and finished him with two hits. You don't have to be some DBZ guru to know that, It's like the writers never even gave it one watch-through.
The worst episode in DB Super is that one where everyone is fighting over a wish originally Goku was gonna wish back King Kai to life and ends up not being wished back.

Seriously? Him using SSJ3 would make far LESS sense seeing how terrible this form is when it comes to burning stamina. It's just a completely useless form which exists to basically look cool - it's far weaker and far less stable than SSJB and while it's stronger than SSJ2, ultimately the latter is still a better option since it's far easier to mantain.
Overall it was just a huge tribute to Broly and on top of that Goku wasn't at his best at all seeing how Kale ultimately failed to hurt him in any way.
Definitely gotta agree with the number two pick. Worst part of it for me was the teasing of the finally bringing King Kai back to life, which should have been done long ago, it's been years even in universe, only done as a blatant 'we're not actually going to do it as a poor joke' kind of thing.

Dragon Ball Super is one of those shows that completely leans on its predecessors in order to stay relevant and be considered good. When you watch other anime, DBS just does not hold up. Jumping the shark, poor characterization, convenient and convoluted writing, ridiculous pacing issues, and little in the way of stakes or tension because of the gods. DBZ was heavily flawed, but at least it had atmosphere and tension, along with good direction and good treatment of most of its characters.

Hey I finally found a video where episode 5 doesn’t get hate
Goku died due to a heart condition and it took Trunks going back in time with medicine made for Saiyans to cure him. The other Saiyan characters never had this condition because just because one person gets sick doesn't mean everyone gets sick. If the doctors couldn't save Goku do to a disease unique to his Saiyan biology then the same would be true for the others if its unique Gohan can't wait for some time traveler from the future to concoct a Saiyan cure so he used the Dragonballs.

I'm surprised you didn't pick the last 2 episodes of the Goku Black arc (eps 66-67), which were a complete and utter mess IMO because the writers had no idea how to properly end the arc. From them retconing the potara fusion so we only got a couple minutes with Vegito (which really pissed me off), and then all of a sudden Trunks becomes Jesus and pulls off this spirit bomb sword technique out of nowhere, and then Zeno comes to erase the future timeline, I think most of the fandom agrees that these episodes failed big time and almost ruin the entire arc.

Why oh why did they not do "the other Namics are about to lose, but they would rather Universe 7 win than the other ones, so they both offer Piccolo to absorb them. Then Piccolo could suddenly be at least close to SSJ god tier. You could make Piccolo viable again. I WANT MORE PICCOLO!

Last epizode of Black Goku arc, because wtf!? I mean, may be second half of this epizode was cool, but I forgot everything except the moment when future Trunks saw Gohan for last time in his life, but first half, i remember it too well...
I cried on both halfs, in second because as I said Trunks in that part saw Gohan for last time in his life, future Gohan is one of my favourite characters and stuff like that, but in first part I cried because of pain.

Hey Geekdom I have a cool theory no ones thought about when it comes to the Broly movie!!
I have a feeling that Broly at one point was so strong he was destroying galaxies and maybe universes (from universe 13-18) . Since he was destroying all this stuff the morality rate or whatever it’s called was super low for these universes, so that’s why Zeno intervened and erased the 5 universes- because of Broly’s destruction. And when he erased all of the universes it’s most likely Broly and his dad were also erased. And when 17 wished the universes to be brought back, he accidentally wished universe 13-18, thus bringing back Broly!! This makes sense because in the trailer it’s shown Broly was getting stronger quickly... Maybe that’s because it’s muscle memory and he used to be that friggin powerful!! I don’t know, just a cool theory I thought of while watching your videos. I hope you see this man I’m a big fan, cheers !

He then gets a bunch of bullshit powerups that ultimately do nothing to forward the plot. A lot of people like Ultimate Gohan, but tell me: What has he accomplished? He always goes on about how he dislikes fighting, but that doesn't mean you should just quit. A lot of people hate their jobs, but does that stop them? Gohan is the embodiment of what I hate in a person.

I can't change your opinion, but i can vehemently disagree with it. Ribrianne is horrid. I don't ever plan on watching her episodes ever again, save maybe the last one...because she loses. The anime was good, but I agree what really made me think it was crazy was plot holes and power scaling, and I think some of the fanbase made it worst, people saying goku surpassed Beerus with the next form that came out(which none of it was confirmed, and it's still not) and all they say is goku> Beerus without a valid argument, either that or we were teased by the directors to get hyped up, a god who has lived for so many years gets surpassed easily, yeah... I doubt that.
Than so many mysteries on other villains with no back stories on why they have so much evil in them, but without all of that there was always something unique that made dbs grow in popularity and by a huge margin too. I would say it was because on how powerful the characters really were and the huge explosions of their cosmic and godly powers, mainly the gods of destruction and other gods like zamasu and goku black ( you can say toppo to), than we have heroes like vegeta and goku that we saw come closer together, and it just hit us that it was really cool to see them bond
if I had to pick a character(s) with the greatest character development, it would be Beerus and whis, two immsenly, powerful, ans un-surpassable deities that grew closer to mortals that they probably never thought they would come close too. It's just not the food but they grew closer to them in general I would also add vegeta to this too.

Your last one, you have to think about the FACT that the show took breaks in between airing one to the next which is why they did recaps they kept that in mind for the audeince, it could be anyone's first time watchin DBS.. And I know you remember having to wait a week or even a few months to watch the next episode. Dont act like we woke up every Saturday to this we didnt. we had to wait. Fresh creative storytelling and animation takes time and loads of lore building. If you think they moved forward without considering how the characters were in Z your mistaken. These are the same characters, but in today's time for us. they have to make it relevant to 2018 way of thinking.. i dont want no dated shit that happened in Z to remain the staus quo of how a character was supposed to be. Thats flawed af bro. Yall wanna see new shit right? just cause we see a character like ginyu for what he was able to do back then he should be able to do that and more in today's time with a much better stolen body than he has ever had in the past. its not head cannon cause someone has to explain things to you cause you didnt hear it come straight from the horses mouth. Do you need to actually hear toriama say "Oh yes, ginyu is a very skilled captain and warrior, he has been around for a very long time and can upon taking someone body completely understand what that body is at base wise capable of.. then go from there as he continues to stay and fight in that vessel" . They not supposed to give us all the answers.. them not doing that give us (AND YOU..lol) more to talk with each other about.
Resurrection of Frieza was a complete waste of time.
Also, I didn't like that Majin Buu fake-out episode that they did where he was "training", suddenly thinner and stronger than he was, getting ready for the tournament. Only for them to revert as if none of that happened at all.

Completely stupid criticism, based off of memes of episode 5. There was bad animation early on and in filler episodes, but the Trunks arc and even more so in ToP arc had excellent animation.
I feel like the one episode I hated most is episode 67. Considering that it's an awful conclusion that ruins an otherwise GREAT arc (Future Trunks/Goku Black arc)
Worse, it also ruins another great arc (Androids/Cell).

In defense of space poachers: while it was an awful episode, without using the concept of having poachers the way Android 17 acted wouldn't feel as justified
I think the point of the slideshow is to set it as a catch up for people who didn't waste their time with retellings of the movies
Yeah, worst is that wish episode, followed by the 17 poachers one, the clips episode, the infamous episode 5, the first episode of Goku Blue vs Golden Frieza one, and the one where Goku can't control his ki. But there are plenty more bad episodes. If you were to count all the really bad episodes up, they would be 25 to 30 of them.
