Paul O’ Grady was an absolute legend, he had more talent in his little finger than any of today’s crop of ‘stars’
Very true James and unlike so many so called celebrities he worked hard for his living and not on some so called reality show

Definetly he's certainly up there with the like David Attenborough no quite him but still he was a good guy who done loads for animals especially his programme For the love of dogs

shed a tear hearing about his passing. Did soooo much for animal welfare. Not sure there’s anyone famous & most importantly likeable enough to replace him 😢😢
Joyce Gibbs, absolutly true, No one could ever replace him, he was unique, so funny, so quick witted, and so loveable, loved his animals and children and did so much for them, i would love to have met him in person, probably would had me laughing in hysterics and then emotional when hes on a more serious note, RIP Paul, You'll never be forgotten for generations to come x
Memories of ‘Rockies’ in Sheffield, when my jaws used to ache from laughing so much at Lily Savage. Paul O’Grady was gifted with buckets of natural talent, and I’ve never seen anyone who could match his quick witted replies to any subject. A legend; and very much missed ❤️💔
Paul was a gentleman respectful I was only talking to Paul on the 24th march outside the Edinburgh playhouse he may be gone but never forgotten 😢😢😢

After yesterday's sad news of the Paul O'Grady passing away. This was the perfect antidote, his alter ego Lily Savage was often rude, crude, and bitchy. But, she could bring the house down and even the most difficult celebrities into full laughter to the point where they were crying.
Liz Dawn was just as naughty on this and they were definitely playing up to the cameras. Paul, thank you for this and being such a wonderful human being who took time out to speak to fans etc. You'll be missed in the showbiz world.

Savage was right up there with the best ever performers! Lovely man, lovely personality. Don’t really have the same taste i. tV as the wife, but once a week we’d sit together with our two dogs to watch ‘Love of Dogs’. Laugh and shed tears together. Rest in peace to one of the last few genuine lovely honest TV personalities ever to grace our screens.

Paul O grady/ Lilly savage is such a master of their craft. This is supposed to be a game show. All you hear is the audience, star turns and contestants laughing. I think the audience would have loved this in its raw format. I couldn't stop laughing at this.

RIP Paul, watching these videos remind me of a happier time when I was in this video at least 10 years old, I would watch this with my auntie and uncle. For people who have llived under a rock, Jill Dando, a very popular BBC newsreader etc at the time was executed outside her own front door. I don't know how or why nobody else knows this or even bothered to acknowledge her.

Paul HATED doing Blankety Blank. Absolutely hated it. Only reason he did it was coz at the time it was by far his biggest payday. He wasnt exactly subtle about his disdain for it either but he was always nice to the contestants and the guests. No comedian can match Paul O’Grady for sheer wit. He’s razor sharp. I’d love him to bring Lily back even if just for one more time.
I wonder if Paul and Liz had a bet on who can say the most outrageous thing which could be left in for broadcast

he admitted in his book, he hated filming the show, it was a bore
He did. He said 8n a Comic Relief special that he would never do the programme again and hated doing it.
