So, in this this LearnElectrics video we will look at the question order and the Part order that is generally applied, we will tell you how many questions to expect on each Part of the book and offer tips on searching for those time saving keywords in the exam.
We will show you how to search for those keywords with carefully selected questions that will show you how to use the information that is available to you at the beginning of the book.
Frequently asked, have been things like …
How many questions are there?
Are the questions in any particular order as you go through the exam?
How do I know which part of the book they are from?

@@1607reddevil Hello mate, after you pass 18th edition can you issue a Minor Electrical Certificate?

Much appreciated
Thank you. Dave.
Thanks so much was using the index instead of page 3 ;-)
Glad it helped. I try to make people comfortable with using both the index and page 3 in preference to just flicking through the book and hoping the pages automatically stop on the right page. Thanks for watching. Dave.
Is this video helpful for am2 online exam
Yes, all learning is useful. Try and do a little every day rather than cram things in.
More exam question and answer videos very soon. Dave.
Hello. I'm an older guy that wants to train as an electrician. UK based. Does anyone have advice on how to approach. There are lots of private training centres out there and the prices vary. What would be a good way do this. Any advice please?
Lots of mature folk take up electrics and its a good trade. There are, inevitably, several hoops to jump through to become registered as a sparky with one of the trade bodies, Napit, NICEIC etc. It's not just the classroom training, its all the other practical stuff that comes in the following year.
I would suggest that you visit in person at least 3 different training centres and go armed with a list of questions.
Especially, ask them to explain everything that you need to be able to register as an electrician and to be able to sign off your own work. If they say, just do this, this and this course and give us 3 grand and that's all you need, then they have missed out all the info you need about portfolios of work to show what you have done. They have not told you about needing to get a year or more of monitored work, doing the job on site under supervision and all recorded. Napit and NICEIC will want evidence oif your practical skills as well as the academic side.
Ask, ask and ask again before you part with any money. Don't be blind-sided by talk of special offers if you sign up now. If they are a good trainer, they will spend time with you before you make any decisions and they will wait for you to come back to them. Don't be put off by what I have written, there are some very good trainers out there. Good luck. Dave.
@@learnelectrics4402 thank you for taking the time and thought to give this answer. It gives me a a better place to start from. Cheers.
Hello Dave, just wondering is this for the city and guilds exam or EAL? Thank you
They all have similar questions. EAL, Logic, C&G all have to follow the guidance from the controlling bodies that set the exam criteria. They are all closely monitored to make sure that the exams are equally as difficult whoever you go with. Just practice and practice and I'm sure you will be ok. A little every day is more beneficial than trying to cram things two nights before the exam. Good luck. Dave.

Can you please make videos on AM2 assessment
I've added it to the list, thanks for watching.
Can someone explain what does scope mean in there, I get confused!
The extent to which the Wiring Regulations apply. What installations they apply to etc. Hope this helps.
Is this for the level 3 electrical exam 8202-30 in march 2024?
The questions and tips are relevant to all exams and assessments where the 18th edition book is required. All practice is good practice. Good luck and thanks for watching.
