      In fact she has 7 career finals but lost 6 of them. Last year she played FOUR finals but lost all four.

    Although Rus lost all those first-round matches, she made over $700,000 total for those losses alone. I'm 51, and have yet to make that much money in my lifetime.

      @@qvyti I had a dream once that I had to play at R1 in a GS as a lucky loser and I was like “but I can’t serve!” And my partner said “WE WILL GET $100,000”. Then I woke up and was very sad I wasn’t going to embarrass myself by losing every point but get the money lol.

      People love to knock Errani, but nobody reaches the Top 5 and reach a slam final by being completely crap. She had her weaknesses for sure (the serve was inexcusable eventually), but she developed her strengths to compensate for them and had a remarkably successful career because of that. Nobody in the right mind would call her the "best player ever", but I don't think you can negate all of her achievements because of one (albeit embarrassing) weak moment

      Bartoli was heavily injured but wanted to play that match as an alternate after Serena pulled out of the tournament
      The reason why Henin hit 30 winners was because Bartoli was barely moving

    Safe to say that Muguruza won't be going to Brisbane for her honeymoon? And I'm calling it now, Alexandrova makes it to the 4th Round of Roland Garros this year.!! Also, Errani was a Grand Slam finalist, but wow is she inconsistent.

      I’m not a particular fan of Maia but she only broke into the top 20 just before last year’s US Open. In fact she only became a top 50 player for the first time three months prior to that. So even if you stopped your clock before this year’s French Open where she made her GS breakthrough, she really just have two chances to prove her top-20ness. It’s hardly embarrassing if she failed both.

    Maria sharapova didn't take advantage
    Justine henin and some Russian take advantage.

    For the longest time I couldn't tell the difference between Alexanderova and Kudemetova. Both have similar builds, style and chokers. They choke in the same way such painful tennis to watch.
