Crazy how Angie Is missing this list by just one match (QF twice at FO) but she has won the other 3GS
They want consistency on tour but when we have Sabalenka, I don't think many people respect and regconize her much, even she is mutiple GSs champ now
😅ah ... Uh..
6 slam semis in a row (at least) and counting. And all of them after suffering full-blown service yips in 2022 and the loss of her father in 2019. She is getting no where near the amount of credit she deserves for her perseverance and work ethic. Inspiring lady.
its def cause of her grunt lmaooo, or some weirdos that hate her bc she's Belarusian
Nobody is denying her recognition for her performance at the GS tournaments. However, you need to look at performance as a whole (ie all tournaments). She is not as consistent as people put her. In 2023, she entered 16 tournaments and won only 3. Of the 8 1000 events she entered in 2023, she won 1, made the final in another, SF in another, 3 QF, 1 R3 and 1 R2. By contrast Iga Swiatek entered 18 tournament and won 6. Of the 7 1000 events she entered, she won 1, made the final in 2, SF in 3 and 1 QF (which was due to injury). Why have the points system which look at performance over all tournaments when you already made up your mind by just looking at the GS tournaments.
@@andyc7011 basically Aryna had a great season last year, Iga was consistent in most of the part, argee ! Also, I argee that Aryna didn't have better performances than Iga but winning Madrid, Brisbane, Australian Open, making to the semis of all slams, WTA Finals and being number 1 itw are enough to be considered good to me
Whatching Venus was like openning a time machine
Grass should be Keys' best surface; she has three grass titles but hasn't made it to WB SF but made it to the 2018 RG SF. I hope she's able to recover from the shoulder injury and have a great year.
I thought Muguruza was going to be in here but then remembered that she doesn't play well at the US Open for some reason. Hope to see her back soon though.
Same for Kvitova
Pliskova deserves a Grand slam :(
I’d like to think she still can 🙏
She does.
Kvitova has never reached US Open SF. 😮😮😮😮😮
I remember her once saying due to her asthma, the humidity in August-September in NYC is a significant burden for her to perform as usual because she experiences breathing issues there more frequently.
@@bramdams4893she was close to do It in 2017 VS venus Williams in quarters (3set Battle)
Venus Hingis Wimbledon 2000 was such a beautiful match, maybe their best one.
Agree and their US open 2000 semifinal

SABALENKA SO CRAZYYYY! SHE DONE IT ALL JUST WITH 2 SETS
Venus' excitement in 1997 was so cute, she's still like a kid when she wins. Such star quality
Sabalenka is my favourite player
Pliskova has the personality of my shoe.
😊
Garbiñe could have been in this position, but unfortunately your play can,t be as well as she can give. My best wishes for Sabine in this 2024.
The toughest stat in women that's why there are only 4 players and Venus shouldn't be even considered, she's not even a part-time maybe a special guest.
