I actually agree! It’s amazing too seeing her physical transformation after her pregnancy! I remember casually watching one tournament years back and I catching wind of her on the court and was like, “This player looks like her but I don’t think so because she’s never been this toned and trimmed down.” Come to find out, it was her! And she’s playing like she has years ago (to a certain degree)! She’s always been this size but after pregnancy, it can be very hard to get to pre-pregnancy physique.
The longest gap between Slam titles in the open era for both men and women is 5 years. Azarenka hasn’t won a Slam in 11 years. She’s also not been in the top 10 since 2014. No chance she wins a Slam, sorry.
They had so much respect for each other, it was great seeing them compete live back in the day! Never knew what would happen (besides Serena winning of course 😉) I miss it!
Even though the lopsided head to head says otherwise, this was definitely a rivalry. Their matches were very close and entertaining. I used to get nervous anytime Serena faced her in the 2010s. Tennis fans are usually obsessed with how many times player A beat player B, yet some of these matches are determined by an unfortunate let chord on break point or a wrong line call. It's all about fine margins.
French Open, absolutely. Cincinnati...eh, it's a tossup. Lol. Serena "could" have made a play there (and probably should have). But, that out call didn't have anything to do with it lol
Vika was true rival of Serena, unlike Sharapova she made it tough for Serena very often, even if she lost. There were many 3-set battles and great points.
Serena and Victoria are pure gift and athletic wonders, they are tributes to God our Creator and our humanity. In their chosen field, Sport of Tennis, like any other field, each of us can excell and inspire wonder, achievement and yeah, more... 🤓

I root for Azarenka so much nowadays. I want one more major for her.

@@regulusarcturus yep yet she has had plenty of chances, the tour had been a mess for a while with ramdom winners.

Good competitive friendship

Their rivalry was one of the best - miss seeing these two go at it!
Salute to Serena Williams ✊🏽🏆🔥🏆🔥💯🔥💯🔥
My top 2 forever
♥♥
I’m a die-hard Serena fan, but Azarenka was lowkey robbed on those French Open and Cincinnati points🧍♂️
And Serena was robbed at 2004 US Open and so many more meh
I think Serena was like “I don’t know, I’m not sure” when the ball was called. And she was right, it was too close to call especially on clay
French Open, absolutely. Cincinnati...eh, it's a tossup. Lol. Serena "could" have made a play there (and probably should have). But, that out call didn't have anything to do with it lol
Azarenka-Serena was the new capriati-Serena.
honestly it was better
only that azarenka is way more likeable than capriati
@@andreacostanza6314definitely better Capriati was catty vs Serena
That kiss on the cheek after the Indian Wells match is so cute
0:23 call made after her shot right?.. Dignity devaluation😂😂
Exactly! Vicky was right!
Them playing left handed at the BNP Paribas Showdown was very funny!

How much do you think Serena could bench press, squat, and deadlift in her prime?
She has repeatedly said herself that she never did weight training, so probably not very much.

"...you don't know me."
That's actually a VERY crazy/unhinged/dangerous thing to say.
It basically means, "You have no idea how far I can go".
