Thus didn’t show anything about How do you connect the keyboard to your smart tv? Also, the nose didn’t work to scroll in the search area, but you didn’t really explain how to get from one area to the other, just assumed we all knew these things, which we don’t or we wouldn’t need to watch a How To Video.. also no mike, how do you get one to set it up, or can it be done? I was stupid enough to buy this keyboard to my samsung smart TV model: UE55KU6175 without first finding out if it would work with tizen OS and no, it doesn't work very well. only a few and not important buttons work. i know NOW that it has to go through an HTPC first but isn't there any work around for this? feels kinda useless now since i can't use it as i was hoping to. any suggestions?

Same problem, especially on RUclips. Keyboard doesn't work, just mouse pad.

You can't click on Android TV's on-screen keyboard. I have an NVIDIA Shield and it's the same. Either you use a plugged in (or wireless) keyboard, or your remote/gamepad. You would need to download a different keyboard app that works with touch screen so you can click on the keys with your mouse.
Yes, it's quite annoying, having a touchpad that's useless by default.

i just bought this product. tried using it on new TCL Android TV. keyboard is working but the track pad is nit working. cursor is not also appearing. tried it on my desktop and it works perfectly fine. any work around?

Yes it work in bios during boot or in Linux just like any other Logitech wireless keyboard. Mouse also works really well in bios

Not on newer TVs, but it works on my 2012 Samsung SmartTV
If you have a smart TV, android based, and an extra USB port on back of TV, It should work.

You can't use a USB keyboard on Roku TV, try the Roku Smartphone App instead, in there you can use your smartphone's keyboard instead.

I got this last week. It did not work with my Samsung Smart TV's because it uses a dongle. The keyboard has to be Bluetooth only. This is what Samsung told me

It worked my 2012 Samsung SmartTV, just plug in the USB dongle and it worked. It may not work on newer TVs. There is another model keyboard that is bluetooth, this one is not.

Yes, I tried to connect my K400 to my TCL Roku smart tv, and nothing happened.

Bought that for nothing. Doesn't work with my samsung 65ks9500 (2016). The salesman in electronic shop told me if would be ok. Don't trust salesman!
