- This is a nice portable keyboard. It's light weight, but still feels sturdy. Pressing the keys does not require a lot of pressure. The keys are laid out well for such a small keyboard. The integrated touch pad works well. The track pad does not lag. This is a 5 star portable keyboard .

Nice video! I have a question. Which Android version are you using? I just bought this keyboard for a tv box with 4.4.2 and all keys seem to work fine except for the keys from R to I. I tested this in Windows and everything was just working fine. Thanks in advance!
Been using this keyboard+touch pad for some months and it is good for its price. Upgraded to Logitech k830 recently for more premium feel and illuminated keys for use at night.

i have a few questions for using this on tv box
1) as we swipe through pics in gallery app in our phones/tablets can we do the same by clicking the yellow mouse button + finger swipe combination?
2) is zoom in zoom out possible with two fingers as well as panning around the image?
3) what about scrolling a web page in chrome is it possible ?
so the answer to number 3 is.. yes. or atleast i think so. you just have to swipe up/down on the touchpad with two fingers and dont blame me if it doesnt work
How do I control multi devices with this if it doesn't come with the multi USB adapters? I have 3 or 4 devices I want to control with the same keyboard.
Do you need to connect it to your computer for connecting to the smart tv ??????
K400 Keybaord is nice however it doesnt work with LG Smart HDR TV's why? Can you help on this issue?
I've ordered a logitec 400 plus keyboard from amazon to mainly use with my Nvidia Shield and i have one question Dell regarding this keyboard.As yor aware there are some apks which will only work with a mouse toggle ( amazon firetv stick / box) or a mini keyboard ( Nvidia Shield) and other android boxes.On my mini keyboard inorder to scroll up and down i have to hold down the left mouse symbol while using the mouse pad.Which key or key's do i need to select on the 400 plus to perform the same function ?
Hi Paul, It's the same button. When I scroll up & down, I use the left button.

Unfortunately I didn't, and had to make another trip to Staple's. That little receiver blended right into the box. They should have had a arrow or a symbol pointing to it.

hi just wondering with this keyboard, the yellow button at the top will turn the TV box on but not off. is there another button to turn box off as I've tried most and have to go back to remote to turn tv box off

The android mini PC is what webtv should have been! The perfect all around entertainment media box! I purchased one last week and I love it! I can play fb games like snake mania!!! Makes me wonder why I wasted my money on Roku ultra. Roku ultra is limited to TV and very few games while Android TV mini box does it all!

I have the exact same keyboard I just got to use with my android TV Box but when using my browser and I type something and then press the 'enter key' instead of going to the next line or start a search, it will add the letter 'q' when I press the enter key, only way i can add 'enter' is bring up the virtual on screen keyboard and click the enter key. do you know why or what I can do to fix it so it works correctly? How do you you to home main screen, etc. If you can find the k700, it's better as it's made for android tv and has all the android related buttons, no remote needed for pressing extra buttons. I use the k700 and with all the android tv buttons and functions on it, it's easier and better to use on my Nvida shield tv.

I honestly got this over the K380 because of the touchpad. I actually prefer the K380's Bluetooth connectivity, unlike this that comes with a USB receiver dongle to work. Which means smartphones and tablets are out.

The volume should work. If not, please try Amazon and get a usb mini keyboard called Q9 Mini Keyboard with touchpad. Also, it's backlit. It's about $20
you didn't do the Google maps soon test. That's really all that matters.

Can you connect directly to your T.V. and use from there? I have an LG t.v., connected it to the back and I have a Blue-ray Disc Player/Streamer. I can use my Wifi also with the control stick. I did all the connection directly to the t.v. and nothing is working on the keyboard. No cursor nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Help

No, this device isn't Bluetooth but you can use the USB dongle and insert it inside the MiBox S USB slot

You can plug in the keyboard, but not sure about the functionality. Add a chromecast and you can use the smart tv your android with it though, even with the receiver plugged in..

ist great but mouse pad doest work if you have moisture or oily hands (eating chrisps) .. and it feel plasticy .. but works perfect ...

I'm taking mine back to Best buy. I'm simply looking for a wireless keyboard to operate my smart tv. It had no real instructions. I went on RUclips and not much success. I hate using my remote control to access the Internet and other applications on my smart tv. I would Think that by now, there would be a wireless keyboard that was made simply to operate with your smart tv.

Proper keyboard functionality with smart tv totally depends on what OS and peripheral support the manufacturer puts in. And yes most of them are rubbish. Those that come with Android should be able to support keyboard without issues I believe.

No backlighting makes this item useless.
Yeah, it's really not practical for use with a TV or TV box. Have to spend a bit more for the backlighting.
