*Okay so underneath the rechargeable battery are 2 slots for disposable AAA batteries. Where are the springs for the battery slots? Do I need to buy them myself? ..Since the option is there. My i8 dies too quickly and I wanna just use the regular batteries.*

I just purchased the Rii i4 Mini Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad and there were no directions, how do you activate the touchpad so the pointer works? Can't find any videos or user guides online to help.

How about to connect that mouse to the Windows computer using the build in dongle(that BT4.0 what come with the unit)? I still have that problem. When plug it (the dongle) it say: Bluetooth keyboard 3.0 and can see other devices but not the keyboard itself. Or maybe it see it, but do not start any interaction.
The keyboard itself if I turn on pair mode (with the dedicated button) and try to connect to my Android phone it goes well and work as expected..

@@iTechnologyReviews Windows(7) automatically recognized that dongle as HID (keyboard / mouse) and without any additional software or drivers installed and find right away my phone, PS3 joystick...but not the keyboard. And the point been, to connect that keyboard to the dongle without any additional magic.

I have the same model. But i am facing an issue with the backlight and the touchpad mouse. I am able to click and double click using the touchpad but unable to use it as mouse i.e., the pointer is not moving. Can you please help!?

Finally got mine working on my Samsung TV. While it connects both with WiFi and Bluetooth, keyboard only works with WiFi (press Fun+Caps).
I have it paired but it still doesn't work on an Android box. Please help. Works on PC etc. fine.
hi; make sure you have the bluetooth version and NOT the wireless version by dongle
Definitely the BT version. It pairs and connects via BT but then doesn't actually do anything on the device. After some research seems there's an issue with some Android devices and it's been ongoing for a LONG time!

You have the best mini keyboard video I've seen so far. Most tell you how to take it out of the box, etc. - so stupid. We're not idiots that need this explained. At least you get into some of the functions. Yay! That's what I've been looking for. I don't have bluetooth on mine but I still found your clip interesting. When are you going to do one on navigating an Android TV Box?? That's what I'm using these days...

I can’t get mine to pair to my fire stick... It’s plugged and connected to my fire stick and I had it paired , then I pressed fn and it started blinking but it also stoped connection. I turned my keyboard off to restart it and it’s still not controlling the fire stick. My mini keyboard don’t have a blue tooth button on it.
ho; maybe you have the non blutooth version; maybe it's only by wireless between the usb stick and the keyboard
I know this is an old comment, but you have to go into your setting and turn off debugging... and if I'm wrong on that, try turning it on. (it's one of the 2... I can't remember which)

FYI. I Had a problem with pairing with my Amazon Fire tv. The list of devices would not come up. Tried several times and finally realized that you MUST turn OFF your VPN, if you are using one, for this step. Then you can turn it back on after pairing. No one mentioned this in any of the pairing videos.

This isn't bluetooth. It needs to have the USB plugged into whatever it's interacting with so you won't be able to use it on androids and such like it advertises. It needs dongle for every device I have. Windows laptop, android and steamdeck. Cheap plastic

Pull off the battery compartment lid and see if it has a dongle. If it does,plug it in and you should be ready to go.
