musicians of this caliber should be in opera houses and the finest acoustics locales available in a sane world. at least the crowd here is enthusiastic and appreciative.
The perks of having mass produced signature rig. You can fly anywhere and don't really have to bring anything, unless the one he has is heavily modified. I can imagine Govan can fly anywhere and any decent music store would have his gear available.
There were a lot of young guitarists with a teacher and just Guthrie fans actually. But yes, there also were a lot of random people who barely knew who Guthrie is :)
Presumably only a high fee compensated the band for having to play under such miserable conditions with waiters constantly running back and forth. I couldn't watch it for long. Although the trio around Govan is of course acknowledged to be world class....

@@ВладимирКовалев-н7ч да. Давидянц вообще молодец что с такого уровня музыкантами у нас играет, но в таких условиях всё таки немного не очень. Хотя очень много видел выступлений Гатри и в барах и на маленьких площадках.
3 years later Guthrie is completely grey haired? Weird.... they really should turn and show the audience anytime a live show is done. Gives us the viewer a better perspective on the event.
