This horse radish sauce recipe is absolutely amazing!! (5:10) I always refer to this video for the recipe when its smoked Tri-Tip night, which is tonight, YES!!
what a heck of a cook you had! I've never made beef tenderloin, as its pretty expensive. (brisket is what I usually buy) your accent is fun! makes your videos even better!
You rocked it. You explain so a novice like me can understand and appreciate what you are doing. You already know what a fan I am. Look forward to viewing even more. You are a true delight.
I really enjoy your chanel. I saw the baked onions with one of your videos and cannot find. Please send the baked onion recipe that turns into a sauce. Thanks
Great video. I really appreciate the recipe in the description. I assume some RUclipsrs think not including it in the description results in more views - not true. Thumbs up and subscribed.
I use a charcoal electric smoker used apple chips. Didn't have time to do the butter garlic chive but next time definitely. Over cooked a bit but I did use your technic for folding over and butcher string tie. It was awesome and with get better with practice. Thanks 👍 your video was very professional
Thanks for the tips and tricks. IMHO Beef tenderloin (like Pork tenderloin) under-appreciated cut for taste and versatility. Horseradish sauce, yum yum, a little dab on the side - nothing clears your sinuses faster. Love the Outlaw wood smoker.
Dang that looks good!!! I bet that horseradish cream sauce sent it way over the top. For Christmas dinner my sister and I will be cooking a whole NY strip loin roast. Im hoping it turns out just as good as your tenderloin looks.
I just watched every video. Big fan now... Your a Rockstar. Keep it up. I will be fabricating a drum smoker in the next two weeks. First smoker, first time smoking. Fingers crossed...........
What are the things you put on top the meat?? What time should I start cooking this if I’m trying to surprise someone for dinner? (I don’t cook at all, it will be my first time)
man between your recipes and Malcom at How to BBQ right, i have had some fine meals for supper! Ready to try this one and check your rubs out. Killer Hogs rubs mixed with yours should make some great flavors! Nice job!
Awesome! Definitely appreciate it!! The tenderloin should cook a little quicker on a kamado style grill. I would guess about 2 hours possibly. May not hurt to flip it at the hour mark.
Dude, I love this channel. About to try some recipes this weekend. And here all along I thought I was the only one that said, "I'm finna!" Gunna have to figure a way to sneak, "wake these flavors up" into my vocabulary. 😁
I went to pull, what I thought was, a brisket out of the freezer. Only to realize it's whole tenderloin and that I've never done a beef tenderloin on the smoker. Plenty of of deer and pork tenderloins, just not beef. I watched 3 different vids on How To and I"M DOING TOMORROW!! new subscriber too
I bought some horseradish on vacation and its called “napalm extreme” im also a huge fan of it but you take about an 8th of a tbsp of this stuff and youre good. I love it
Thx sir,I really njoy watching your videos they are funny, informative, and simple. I can't get pass what I consider to be under cooked, but the presentation was entertaining thx...😊👍
What do you think on running the outlaw so hot? Any issues with the paint possibly, great video as always. Jay and I were talking today about it and we both thought it was awesome haha
What was your total cook time? 30 minutes in you were at 90 and said to start watching it because it would rise quickly from there. Approximately how long till 123? I can work out the sear times from there. I’m needing to time the meat so my wife doesn’t raise a knot on my head.
I wish your rubs were in major stores! I really wanna try your rubs!!
This guy is great at explaining without excess bla bla bla. Why did it take me so long to find this guy. Thank you.
Appreciate the support!

Definitely could but man they are delicious on the pit! Basically same recipe just different heat source.
My man, I compliment you. Nice !
Thanks!
Doing this for Thanksgiving on my Golden’s Kamado. Love your technique. Anything different for a Kamado AND how long did it roughly take you?
Awesome! Definitely appreciate it!! The tenderloin should cook a little quicker on a kamado style grill. I would guess about 2 hours possibly. May not hurt to flip it at the hour mark.

New sub. Your vids are perfect. Keep up the good work

How long does it take to get to 123? I appreciate it varies on a bunch of factors. But would love a ball park. Looks amazing!
Great video! What do you do with that muscle on roast piece? I don’t really care for it compared to the rest of the tenderloin?
Awesome.. Which smoker machine you are using

Final temp? I’m thinking of this for Christmas. Thanks
I would say try and stay under 125 finish temp if possible.
Hi swine life bbq !! Could you do a review on your out law smoker ? Been thinking about getting me one ! Thanks have a good holiday
You bet! If you decide to go with Outlaw you won’t be disappointed at all! It’s a great pit!
Would you say rubbing the tenderloin with chimichurri along with the grit would work?
Sounds great to me!!! As long as it doesn't want to burn I bet it would taste great!
Wow ... looks really good 🤤🤤
Even with my eyes, it feels juicy and soft !! 🍖🍖
Thanks!
That looks good!!!! I own a pellet grill!!! I should be able to use the same temperature, and steer it at the end
Thanks! Yes, Should work fine.
What do you think on running the outlaw so hot? Any issues with the paint possibly, great video as always. Jay and I were talking today about it and we both thought it was awesome haha
No issues what’s so ever. The paint is rated to 1200 degrees. Appreciate the support!
Perfect! Do you do much smoked sea food?
Oh yea!! We are actually working on a couple recipes now for crab legs.
Killed that one my man. I'm waiting on the cook book ha ha ha.
Haha! We got a long ways to go! Appreciate the support tho!
About how long do you smoke that at 300 degrees?
If you don't own a probe, which I will be getting. What is the best way to tell your piece of meat is done before being overcooked?
Highly recommend the ThermoWorks DOT to monitor. Should be a link in the description.
How about doing that on the gateway drum
what is your glove setup? what is your under glove and then top glove
Check out howtobbqright.com. It’s just a white cotton glove underneath and nitrile gloves over the top.
I am ready for a new video!!! How about a no wrap brisket? ♨️😎👍
Working on comp ribs this weekend. As soon as deer season is over brisket video with be rolling!
Awesome! Good luck hunting and in the competition. 👍
Mmmmmouth wwwwatering I can taste it.cant wait for smell and taste o vision .
😋
How long was the beef out of the fridge before it went on the grill?
About an hour if I remember correctly.
Where did you get that rack at 3:00 ?
Just a cooling rack from the local grocery. I believe you can get them on amazon as well.
Why sauce it? The seasoned butter based beef taste is perfect
You are exactly right. Just a little on the side to try if one would like.
awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Thanks!
What knife are you using?
www.messermeister.com/products/san-moritz-elite-8-inch-kullenschliff-flexible-fillet-knife
What cast iron pot is that?
I think a lodge sauce pot.
Is this cut used for filet mignon?
That is correct.
What was your total cook time? 30 minutes in you were at 90 and said to start watching it because it would rise quickly from there. Approximately how long till 123? I can work out the sear times from there. I’m needing to time the meat so my wife doesn’t raise a knot on my head.
Before sear was right at 45 minutes. It was a smaller loin as well. Right around 4 pounds trimmed.
Nothing better.
Thanks!
I'm ordering a tenderloin from an all natural farm so random question - do remember what size it was?
I think it started off about 7 pounds. It was a smaller one.
Whats the cooktime
All I can say is wow.. that looks beautiful!!! Can’t wait to smoke me one on Christmas Day
Thanks! Let us know how it turns out!
Funny, I’m here for some inputs for roast I’m smoking tomorrow.
I think this might be the one the christen the new smoker with
Definitely!!
Wow, dude you are the Michelangelo of meat!
HAHA! Thanks!
👍
What happened to long strip piece for people like well done?
You should sear it first and then cook it. Searing it keeps in the juices while you cook it through.
I have a prime in the fridge waiting, I know how I'm doing it!
Let us know how it turns out!
