we cook the heck out of those at our house. Winco stores here in Orygun has them in a bag as well for around $5+ a pound. i usually get a $25 bag and cook it and we eat it the whole week. for that price i won't even buy a roast these days, this is the only red meat we really eat. best darn sammiches ever. thin cut on sour dough. just cooked one tonight on the Traeger.

I’m going for it tomorrow, was going to roast in the oven, but I want that beautiful char with the sear. Probably serve on regular white bread after the meat gets a butter soak. Traditional beefsteak jersey style. It’s what dad wants and how he made it in past years. Great vid, thank you.

Using the cutco butcher for a slicer? I mainly use that knife for cold cutting meat but I’m not hating. Have done that myself before.

It's all the same. The key is to check it closer to the end and check for tenderness. I dont even use a probe anymore becuase I;ve been grilling for so long. I just stick it with a knife or make a small cut. If it doesn't tear easily then back on for another hour or so.
