Part III / Messiah may well be the final Villeneuve Dune film.But I doubt if part 2 is a sucess Warner will stop the series.
Children of Dune would be the perfect ending of the triogy.

I think WB will probably make a Dune-series on HBO Max instead of a movie without Villenueve.
