Your videos have great information and showcase great editing! I wanted to give credit for that because it is great how you pull studies up and show them and give visuals.
Also, I’m glad I watched this and know I’m on the right track with my diet because I’m actually about to go have my breakfast rn and it has most of these ingredients in it lol. I made overnight chia pudding with ground flax seeds, wild blueberries, cinnamon, clove, turmeric powder+pepper, olive oil, black berries, and kiwi.

Hi Dr. Liu: I really enjoy your videos about Top 10 to take, including this one. They have so much biochemistry and nutrition science information. Would you share how medical students and professionals could acquire these knowledge? Is there a course to cover the topics and materials as you’ve covered in your videos? A list of books to cover the knowledge base would also be very useful. Thank you.

Thanks for these ideas. I’m mixing all the good things in Asian and Western cuisine. I took for granted the abundance of ginger and oregano. Way back at home where it’s just accessible in the backyard garden. Here in USA, it’s just dried oregano most of the time.

I was recently diagnosed with autoimmune disease markers. my markers showed an elevated RH factor, ANA, and markers for scleroderma. I say markers because a rheumatologist will not officially diagnose these conditions until there is a longer history of symptoms. My sibling has had autoimmune conditions for decades so I knew what to expect from doctors. Teh traditional response to these issues is medications that mask symptoms. I'm in search of functional medicine providers that specialize in autoimmune conditions. SO far those people tend to be DRs that have experienced these conditions themselves. Thanks for addressing these topics in a practical way that I can apply.

Hello Dr. I am glad to have subscribed to your channel awhile back and am learning much from you. Thank you. I want to eat kale, but I read that it contains a high amount of goitrogens, compounds that can interfere with thyroid function, and even more importantly I see that kale is often contaminated with Dacthal, a carcinogenic pesticide, and also had detectable levels of 5.6 different pesticides, with as many as 18 different residues on just one sample. They were referring to non organic kale. We only buy organic, do you think it is safe? How do we really know? Thank you.

Thank you, hoping you see this. Can you please do a video addressing your thoughts on the significance of chemicals in our food on our health. Specifically the "dirty dozen". I noticed you don't really talk much about it. For instance, oats are one of the most heavily sprayed crops. Farmers spray glyphosate on it and other grains prior to harvest to dry them out. I am not wealthy so I do eat nonorganic oats and other produce because I think the benefits outweigh the risks. However, as someone concerned about their liver and kidney enzymes and cholesterol, I want to make the right choices. Thank you!!!
