I just made a smoothie with cherries, ginger, dazzling blue kale (from garden), magnesium, sweet mini pepper ( orange, yellow, and red)(from garden), kiwi, red beet (from garden), raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, Indian gooseberry powder, tumeric, black pepper, cinnamon, orange (including the peel), pomegranate juice and rosella tea. I had no broccoli. Still, my cup runnerh over with goodness.
Following all your advice. Sleep with raw ginger slab between cheek & molars. Mint is invading my yard , so i make mint water with yarrow leaves & ginger root. Gradually getting well from horrible parasite invasion.
I am an 83-year-old woman I have arthritis. I have also had spine surgery. How many milligrams of magnesium should I have a day I’ve bought caps but I never know how many milligrams I should be consuming. Thank you for your answer and thank you for all of your wonderful knowledge. I truly appreciate you.
My doctor suggested Magnesium L-threonate . I order it on Amazon made by NOW called Magtein. I take 2 capsules with one L- Theanine, both of these help me sleep and improves cognition plus other benefits. I take one Magnesium in the morning which helps me stay calm. Good luck with it. It has really helped me.
I have osteoarthritis and found that taking EPA fish oil, 2 in the morning one at night. I also take Advanced Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM with Vitamin D3 from Puritans Pride. I take 3 in the morning and one at night. This has really been helpful for arthritis pain which I used to have but don’t have now unless I eat something salty or something with sugar. Hope it works for you, it does take a little time before you see results a few weeks to a month or two. Good luck with it!
I am a huge fan of kale smoothies❣️ I use frozen kale and frozen strawberry banana mix to make them. I also add drink enhancers with B vitimans and electrolytes. (All inexpensive off brands from Walmart) Then I add my D3+K vitamins to it. I make a big batch at a time and store extra bottles in the freezer for later. I eat a boiled egg and drink a kale smoothies for breakfast. I can always tell when I didn't have my smoothy in the morning. It makes a big difference in my ability to function. I love my kale smoothies❣️ Having one with a pre-boiled ever morning not only improves my health and functioning, it makes a quick, healthy no cook, no mess breakfast. 👍
I’ve taken magnesium daily for years but I still get bad Charlie horses and foot spasms. I wonder why. We appreciate you always sharing so much knowledge with us. I could see my PCP for years and never get as much info from one of your videos.
I was getting bad cramps as well and I added a B12 in morning and take magnesium glycinate at night and it helped. Make sure your also drinking plenty of water. One night I fell asleep before I took my magnesium glycinate and I had muscle twitching during the night and now I know why from this video.🤗 Christy
I get leg and foot cramps also (Charlie horse in thighs) so I keep a small bottle of organic peppermint oil and coconut oil next to my bed. About 3 drops mixed with enough coconut oil to dilute the peppermint oil, rub it on, and cramps fade away quickly. The biofreeze spray is excellent for the foot cramps.
I discovered that tonic water because it has quinine in it will stop the leg cramps in minutes. I only need a 1/2 a bottle. I upped my magnesium but was still getting the cramps. They don’t happen often but this is the remedy I use.
Ferment thinly sliced ginger covered in raw honey. Store for 5-6 months so that the fiber threads soften. Have a couple of slices every day in the winter.
You have such a good working knowledge of your subject matter that I would go so far as to say you are WISE. Thank you for sharing your wisdom empowering us to make the best decisions for ourselves.
Hi Dr. Liu-I found that putting kale in the oven for around 10 minutes at 350, with sprinkling of olive oil, makes it taste much better. I don't like it's natural taste much either!
Once again, over the top, imlourtant, helpful. QUESTION: for decades we've been steaming our broccoli whole after washing and trimming a bit yet you recommend cooking it cropped, Does cooking veggies whole 'lock ' in the nutrients?
I appreciate this channel for the wealth of knowledge. It’s super important because everything in the popular culture/environment is trash, causing all these problems we have to watch this to fix. Why are conventional doctors telling patients to avoid cauliflower and those other plants you mentioned! That should be considered malpractice when they’re prescribing inferior, patented, man-made medications, i.e., substitutes.
Ready for the next video that shows what green tea to get, I like that u suggest specific brands of whatever it is that u use. It does me no good when some of these gurus say just take such and such a product, there's everything from cheapo versions that could be contaminated all the way to products that are organic non-gmo pharmaceutical grade etc. I don't want to be putting junk in my body that's for sure.
Love your videos but tell me, how do I scan your QR code from your mid-video advertisement if I'm watching your video on my phone? I don't see a link anywhere in the description ???
You notice that all of the 10 foods are PLANT foods or can be found in plants. Plants reduce inflammation. Become a whole foods plant-based eater and avoid processed foods and animal-based foods because they create inflammation.
DR., YOU are AMAZING👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪✅✅✅✅✅💋…I Have Learned SO MUCH from Your Fantastically presented and easily Understood….VIDEOS……BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO…..You are a Wealth of Information….THANK YOU SO MUCH✅✅✅🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I am a vegetarian. I buy alkaline water because it makes for delicious coffee (neutralizes the acidity of coffee) I had full blown gout as a *vegetarian* and a vegetarian friend of mine also had gout. Once I realized that fructose was the root cause and removed *all* fructose from my diet, the gout went away and has stayed away.
Oxalates in many plants can produce inflammation in the form of arthritis/gout pain & kidney stones. I did an elimination diet to find what my body will tolerate. Diets are not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person won't work for another!!! Turmeric capsules are a blessing for some & a curse for others. I can tolerate turmeric in my food (curries, etc.) but I have excruciating pain in my joints & tissues when I take turmeric capsules (too strong for my system)!! This site provides excellent information for those who do not want to give up their health/healing to the moneyed interests of Big Pharma & allopathic health care.
@drusilladana4184 incorrect. Oxalates *in the presence of fructose poisoning* can do all sorts of things, but the oxalates are just a pawn in that reaction. It is the fructose that is corrupting metabolic pathways thus enabling all sorts of other compounds to produce undesirable results when present in those corrupted pathways. You can prove this to yourself. Just don't eat any fructose for 3 months, then consume oxalates. I eat spinach (the highest oxalate commonly consumed vegetable) regularly, yet I have an hsCRP of 0.9. Thr human body is a machine that obeys the laws of physics like every other machine and they all work *exactly* the same way (genetic defects excepted). The machine can be configured slightly differently, but the machine is the same. If it weren't so detrimental to health it would be amusing how confused people get by trying to extract patterns of human metabolism from the 93% of the population that consumes a mitochondrial toxin in large quantities every day (it's like trying to understand the behavior of a software application on millions of computers, all of which have bad memory)
If I dont eat red meat nearly every day I feel exhausted and catch colds. It must contain something I need. I have inflammation from chronic (genetic) conditions.
After watching this video….I’m left wondering which disease should I tackle first? HBP Diabetes Kidney Disease Liver….non alcoholic fatty liver disease
A hint for you ! Guess what, like your dinosaur kale my phone is dum. And as a dinosaur looks like i am out of luck for more information. Good show anyway. Keep up the good work. Thank you so much. Best regards . Jack
Does it matter if the veggies are washed before or after they’re chopped (then sat for 30 min)? Also appreciate the c diff mention. Had part of my colon removed from c diff in my 30s, after taking systemic antibiotics. It completely disabled me. People need to be aware. I was a busy lawyer one day and completely bed ridden for several years after just taking antibiotics.
Relisten from 8:02: juice generally has no fiber and even if it says "no sugar added" it increases glycemia and thus inflammation. Try full cherries next time (even canned can help).

Oh !!! Gradually getting well from horrible parasite invasion. How to do it . Please help me.
Triple check the back of your mint… little caterpillars get on the back and they’re exactly the same colour as mint!
@Loupdelou-ly1ve will do. Great info. Thanks! I do wash it but none too carefully.
Amazing explanations! Clear, simple, but easy for non-medical professionals. THANK YOU.
Very good job communicating a complex process which is understandable . Thank you.

Kale is delicious! You have to massage it before eating, it makes it tender , you will also notice the green gets greener👍

Thank you❤
Thanks for sharing

Some people are very sensitive to fructose.
@M_SC fructose is a mitochondrial poison the same as cyanide is. *everyone* is "sensitive" to it (just like everyone is "sensitive" to cyanide).

What type of magnesium and the brand do you take?
Scurvy by Stephen Bown is a really fun read
I have a montmorency cherry tree in my yard, didnt kow they were a super food:)
After watching this video….I’m left wondering which disease should I tackle first?
HBP
Diabetes

All of the above together. Best wishes!
Hbp (hibiscus)
Diabetes ( karela,guava leaves)
Kidneys (nettle)
Liver (dandelion & milk thistle)
Hope this helps 🙏🙏
And drink soursop tea every day

Are eating eggs good for you? My husband eats them almost daily.
How do you prepare / consume the kale so that it does not taste like fresh cut lawn clippings?
Chop it really finely, rather than eat the whole leaves. Mix it with herbs - mint, coriander, basil - the herbs will take over the taste of kale.
Awesome I don’t have to join a cult to this information
Hysterical😂
Which others ones out there do you have to join?? Asking for a friend..

wash veggies before chopping. otherwise you can't really wash it well.

You need organic raw cherries
Your list of super foods most of those are super high and oxalates and can be a major cause of kidney stones.
The pool was closed!!!
Can you put mustard seed powder in tea and get the benefits?
Yes, if your tea is made from cruciferous veggies.
