Second posting: So I went and read some comments and couldn't believe all the negative reviews. There are a lot of angry people out there but pay no attention to them. I hope they don't discourage you from continuing to post your instructional videos. You do an affective job explaining what and how the machine works. We live in a fast-paced world as a result, people expect their reviews to get to the point quick in a hurry. Kudos with your channel and thanks for the great review.

Nice video! Very descriptive, good resource for anyone trying to learn about detailing…. I agree. The tornador black is an incredibly effective tool for really intricate details, tedious tight spaces with dust, etc, the tornador essentially allows the detailer to achieve similar results with a less powerful compressor via the swirling motion increasing the air velocity. Quick bit of constructive criticism, the tornador requires 5.5-6.5 CFM from your compressor to work properly. I understand mobile detailing makes that more difficult, there are some Gas model compressors that are both compact & high output.

  • @danielbailey6780

I detailed cars back in the 80’s a lot as my liveyhood and one thing I learned -quickly- EVERYBODY IS AN EXPERT! So, I ordered one of those off tv not knowing you have to have an air compressor, which I do but forgot my psi. I will have to go look. But anyway, not everybody knows about the psi, b/c mine came with absolutely no instructions so I would have trotted right up to the garage and hooked it up and possibly ruined it. So I looked at a bunch of videos untill I found yours that actually explained stuff. So for all those experts out there that are giving out hate, REAL experts try to help others, not be ass wipes. Sorry, a bit of detailers humor. Keep it up, thought your video was informative. Thanks.

DO NOT spray water into or even near ANY electrical parts. When you clean switches, use your microfibre dampened (not wet) with cleaner and wipe, don't spray; use the toothbrush if you need to, then vacuum up any moisture with a shop vac. After that use ONLY AIR on the Tornado or you will definitely have a VERY EXPENSIVE consequence coming your way or for your customer later on. You don't want cleaner or water forced into the switch with the Tornado, it won't dry out and will certainly cause damage via corrosion / shorting. Other than that you do excellent work and thanks for the info. on the Tornado.

Cleaning out the seat runner is all well and good but that big long screw is supposed to be lubricated with grease. Clean it all up and remove the dirt and grease but then it must be greased and the seat must be run forward and backward to its limit a few times to spread the grease on the turning screw or it will rust. Also, it's probably a good idea to put rags around the runner before you use the cleaning gun because you'll be splattering little globs of old grease on the carpet. You may not see it but after the driver drags his feet across it a few times it will attract dirt and the carpet will turn black.

I just happened to run across this product online, at a great price, so I decided to give it a try. I showed my helper, and he was excited! It is the same thing he used to detail cars, and said it worked amazing! My plan is to let my current customers know that we now offer car detailing service, and go from there. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on starting a car detailing service. I definitely would wait for the spring to start, but my suggestion would be to start marketing now so that when spring rolls around you have some momentum. Think creatively about social media strategies, friends, etc... to get some anticipation up, maybe even telling your existing clientel, giving them 10% when spring comes, things like that. You have time now to create excitement (pre launch phase) and I would take advantage of that

What compressor do you use. Being mobile, we don't have tons of room and I'm going to get a Tornidor for my set up. I use one at work and I feel in love with it. Also, the compressed air just makes everything do much more efficient.

You can put boiling water in it. With degreaser works very well.

I am curious to know what someone would use in the gun? Plain water, cleaning solution, or just air?

6:00 I think what you're trying to say is, the tube (using the compressed air) spins really fast, continuously agitating the surface. Almost like scrubbing with air.

Everyone is saying you talk to much, how about you make a video with no product names, no info on how to use them etc and let's see if they like that better 🤣... been in the automotive refinishing world since 2001, keep up the good work buddy

Hey bro, thanks a lot for such an informative video! A couple of questions if you don't mind. :)
    - So why you don't hook up solution into the tornador but use water instead? Is it kinda more cost-effective, doesn't consume as much chemistry? Or is it simply more effective to clean that way?
    - Compressor is connected to the regular plug or your accumulator in the car?
    Thanks a lot buddy =)

Awesome job. Okay, I’m going to ask a really basic (silly?) question. Does.this tool require an electrical outlet with an extension cord or can it be attached via a “plug in” I the car? I live in an apartment complex and there are no electrical outlets available. Hope you see this.

Hi man, how can u use it with just 2,6 scfm? Doesn t Tornador need at least 5 scfm @ 90 psi??

  • @mz8210

Hi Luke...Sometimes you use compressed air (for inside the car or engine bay) in combination or not with the TORNADOR. ... What kind of a
setup or compressor do you use ? Capacity ? Power (PSI) ? etc...
How much pressure would you recommend using on the interior when blowing out things ?

  • @yt66228
    @yt66228 5 лет назад +1

The number one rule is never use high pressure air or water around electronics or crevices. The high pressure drives moisture with contaminants down into areas you can not reach and usually does more damage over time. Never power wash a car to remove road salt. The action drives the harmful salt deeper into crevices were it does more damage! Use it on carpeting and some upholstery.
