I've been using the Tornador white for interior surfaces and Tornador black for carpets and matts for over 8+ years in my mobile detailing service. It's definitely the best most effective tool in the detailing business.
Just getting into hobby detailing my personal stuff, and other family. 5 years later just found this video, and it was great information and very detailed. Thank you
Nice video! Very descriptive, good resource for anyone trying to learn about detailing…. I agree. The tornador black is an incredibly effective tool for really intricate details, tedious tight spaces with dust, etc, the tornador essentially allows the detailer to achieve similar results with a less powerful compressor via the swirling motion increasing the air velocity. Quick bit of constructive criticism, the tornador requires 5.5-6.5 CFM from your compressor to work properly. I understand mobile detailing makes that more difficult, there are some Gas model compressors that are both compact & high output.
Bet. I bought a Tornador when I was working at a Dealership using their industrial Air Compressor and seeing that is compatible with the Tornador is a blessing. I will be buying one real soon.
I really appreciate that you went out of your way to inform us on that tool. For those who wanna skip the verbal explanation, maybe throw up a time in the description to skip forward to seeing it in action

Thank you for describing the product. I currently have my own cleaning business. I mainly clean personal homes, and rental properties. I have a helper that used to do car detailing, and he suggested adding car detailing to one of the services that we provide. I just happened to run across this product online, at a great price, so I decided to give it a try. I showed my helper, and he was excited! It is the same thing he used to detail cars, and said it worked amazing! My plan is to let my current customers know that we now offer car detailing service, and go from there. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on starting a car detailing service. I live in north country where it's bitterly cold now, and I don't have a garage to work in, so I was thinking to start promoting it very early spring. Just wondering your thoughts / suggestions. I definitely would wait for the spring to start, but my suggestion would be to start marketing now so that when spring rolls around you have some momentum. Think creatively about social media strategies, friends, etc... to get some anticipation up, maybe even telling your existing clientel, giving them 10% when spring comes, things like that. You have time now to create excitement (pre launch phase) and I would take advantage of that
Hi Luke...Sometimes you use compressed air (for inside the car or engine bay) in combination or not with the TORNADOR. ... What kind of a setup or compressor do you use ? Capacity ? Power (PSI) ? etc... How much pressure would you recommend using on the interior when blowing out things ?
Woooops...Appearantly I was a little too fast....Should have watched the video a little further. Sorry....However, How much pressure would you recommend using on the interior when blowing out things ?
It’s actually a 6 gallon and it always worked for me. I don’t use the tornador much anymore but they suggest getting something like a 15 gallon. That always seemed like overkill to me
You guys can just fast forward the video or watch a different one. There is no need to be rude to someone who is trying to inform is subscribers on how to operate and what it's capable of.
I really love your energy Luke keep up your great work. I have the same exact air compressor. I had for 3 yrs I never thought of using it for car detailing. I am going to buy the Tornado what is the PSI setting are you using. When using on the carpet, interior and surfaces. Thank you for sharing your talent and know how.
They're all the same unit from the same unit in China. These distributors buy them and market them as they see fit. I bought it at $39 and it's the exact same unit minus the sticker on the reservoir.
Wilson Auto Detailing Vx is great but almost 900 bucks Tornador is better for carpets and cloth seats to remove the fine dust before steam cleaning etc
Wilson Auto Detailing I have a air compressor in which I paid about 400$ for and a Tornador Black . I’m thinking about returning them both for a vx5000 or a vaporchief and purchasing a small air compressor like the one you use .Other than blowing under seats I don’t see where the Tornador is better at anything else . What do you think ?
Is 6 gallon enough to detail the side panels or the seats with out running out of air every 2minutes ? I just got my tornador But still haven't bought my air compressor .. What do you recommend Mr. Wilson .. Thanks god bless 💪
Cleaning out the seat runner is all well and good but that big long screw is supposed to be lubricated with grease. Clean it all up and remove the dirt and grease but then it must be greased and the seat must be run forward and backward to its limit a few times to spread the grease on the turning screw or it will rust. Also, it's probably a good idea to put rags around the runner before you use the cleaning gun because you'll be splattering little globs of old grease on the carpet. You may not see it but after the driver drags his feet across it a few times it will attract dirt and the carpet will turn black.
Good morning, my friend, I'm from Brazil. I need some information if possible. With how many pounds of pressure does it work? Which are the products that I have to use. Thankful.
Hey bro, thanks a lot for such an informative video! A couple of questions if you don't mind. :) - So why you don't hook up solution into the tornador but use water instead? Is it kinda more cost-effective, doesn't consume as much chemistry? Or is it simply more effective to clean that way? - Compressor is connected to the regular plug or your accumulator in the car? Thanks a lot buddy =)

It’s actually a 6 gallon and it always worked for me. I don’t use the tornador much anymore but they suggest getting something like a 15 gallon. That always seemed like overkill to me
Is a steamer better?
When I first started using that machine they had just came out and it started making me tons of money And save a ton of chemicals
Very informative, very insightful, a little long, but very useful and I will look for your videos again!
Someone tell me.. you think this will work in the kitchen or bathroom? Cleaning sinks, showers, tile, etc..?
Are you gonna re-grease the seat sliders? Eventually it will wear down if you don't.
Will a 10 gallon air compressor run one of those
Does it help to clean big marks on couches?
15 mins in and I actually don’t even know what’s going on. Stop talking just use the tool man
I agree with you this dude needs to shut the fuck up and just use the tool
Super annoying.
You guys can just fast forward the video or watch a different one. There is no need to be rude to someone who is trying to inform is subscribers on how to operate and what it's capable of.
Jose Gap oh man, all that?! 🙄 freedom of speech.
@@alysskennedy8661 Yes, everyone has freedom of speech. You can leave without being rude.
How would this compare with the Bigboi blowers??
I am curious to know what someone would use in the gun? Plain water, cleaning solution, or just air?
Nice work buddy! Keep it up! Make sure you regrease the seat rails with a grease spray of some sort, perhaps white grease spray.
Would you regrease, using a brush over the thread while moving the seat?
How do you regrease, without creating the mess you just cleaned?
What kind of extractor is that
I really love your energy Luke keep up your great work. I have the same exact air compressor. I had for 3 yrs I never thought of using it for car detailing. I am going to buy the Tornado what is the PSI setting are you using. When using on the carpet, interior and surfaces. Thank you for sharing your talent and know how.
Would u prefer the tornador or do u think a cheaper brand would get the same result?
They're all the same unit from the same unit in China. These distributors buy them and market them as they see fit. I bought it at $39 and it's the exact same unit minus the sticker on the reservoir.
Honestly I would suggest a steamer over a tool like thisn
What do use more often? The VX 5000 or the tornador? Which machine is better for what situations? Thanks!
Definitely the VX 5000! No question, if you are deciding between the two, definitely go with the steamer
Wilson Auto Detailing
Vx is great but almost 900 bucks
Tornador is better for carpets and cloth seats to remove the fine dust before steam cleaning etc
Can you use this inside of your house because I wanna do this to my stairs???
Hahaha probably
No wonder you detail cars, there were 7 Wonders of the World. But the cleaning tool is cool!
Hahaha! Yes!
I just ordered mine. I'm waiting for it. What do you use for cleaning seats and rug in the car/ truck
Thanks for the feedback!
I like your video man!!!
Just got one and they do work great
Good man!
Good morning, my friend, I'm from Brazil. I need some information if possible. With how many pounds of pressure does it work? Which are the products that I have to use. Thankful.
Do you have to use an air compressor with gun ?
Yes.
Hey bro, thanks a lot for such an informative video! A couple of questions if you don't mind. :)
- So why you don't hook up solution into the tornador but use water instead? Is it kinda more cost-effective, doesn't consume as much chemistry? Or is it simply more effective to clean that way?
- Compressor is connected to the regular plug or your accumulator in the car?
Thanks a lot buddy =)
Hey bro! Which generator do you recommend to use?
Does purple power 5 to 1 leave stains if it dries in the hot sun??
Your the man Luke. Will b watching a lot of your videos
Thanks Mike!!!
