    I have been told you have to get movement in the shoulder first before the hand will move. Is that wrong? Your way makes more sense.

    Any sort of exertion with my arm or wrist cause s my fingers to tighten. Other than that my fingers are pretty flexible. Is there anything I can do.

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  Год назад

      @hemasookram, It's hard to say exactly because I don't know your specific case. But sometimes that can be caused by spasticity, high muscle tone, tendon shortening. It's hard to say, exactly. If it's cause by muscle tone or spasticity, a daily stretching routine can be helpful to reduce the effects. If it's tendon shortening, that would be a conversation to have with your doctor. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful ❤️
