Teresa Tv me and my brother had been through the same thing. My father married her. He had to lie to her and say “I’m going to go visit my brother” when he actually came to visit us. She hated us because she didn’t like the fact that my father had two kids from a previous relationship. My brother was resentful of my father for years and wouldn’t talk to him. I on the other hand, loved my father too much to not want to ever see him again, so I ended up taking what I could get which was what I felt was the leftovers. Unfortunately, my father wasn’t man enough to put his foot down and leave the bit$&. I grow up with so much hurt but I loved him. My father became greatly I’ll and my step mother became his caretaker and in the process of caring for him she started an affair with his best friend. @@Moonewitch, I think there were signs there, but he likely did not know how bad things were. Like the detective said, the father is a very easy-going laid back individual. Further, who knows what lies his wife spun to keep him oblivious and how much his son refused to say against her because he feared hurting him. Children DO protect their parents even when there is no need. He obviously confided in his mother at least some of the crisis, and Mom could put the rest of it together. However, even she did not know how deep the animosity ran. She thought it ended at jealousy but never extended to hate and loathing. Who knows what ran through the father's mind?
I am convinced that he managed to have all of his fears dismissed until this occurred and then he saw hundreds of details in a new light. It is very evident that there is some truth to this as HE blows the lid off of her story by showing the diary and expounding upon his insights of the relationship dynamic. Men being rational rather than emotional can be very dense when it comes to emotional matters.

Especially a person who has young children because they need as much time as possible with their parents when they’re youngsters. As they get older they don’t need as much alone time with mom or dad. SO, If you’re going to be n a relationship with them, the children are part of that relationship too or find someone with no kids. I’ve been a single mother since my son was born……he’s 15 now and I’m still single because I didn’t want to give my time to a relationship when my son needs to be raised and have at least one parent around for him at all times. I would feel guilty going out on a date while my child is home waiting for me to come home. That’s not fair. I’d rather give my time and my life to my kid than to some guy who is just going to treat me like crap.

Susanne helped dispose of his body and he was set on fire. She was released after only 15 yrs of a 25 year sentence:
Convicted killer Susanne Baker walked free Thursday, after serving only 15 of the 25 years to which she was sentenced.
She was released from the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women at Pewee Valley on time served and good behavior, officials said. The prison is located in Shelby County.
Susanne Baker, now 38, and her then-best friend Stephanie (Baker) Spitser, kidnapped and strangled 10-year-old Donald “Scotty” Baker in 1992, then dragged his body to a strip mine and set it on fire. His charred backpack was still strapped on his back when police found him.
Susanne Baker, wearing a wig and using an assumed name, checked Scotty Baker out of Paces Creek Elementary School in Manchester the day before Thanksgiving. Spitser was hiding in the backseat of Susanne Baker’s car. She choked the child to death from behind shortly after he climbed inside.

can we talk about how evil and cruel the friend Susanne is, too? How can a human person willingly agree to help someone abduct a helpless child? You're a grown adult who thinks it's okay to help your friend abduct a ten year old little boy?
Even if she didn't know Stephanie wanted to murder him, she still willingly and knowingly abducted a little child to hurt him. How heartless do you have to be to do that?

    • @chp4822
      @chp4822 3 года назад +50

Right! And if she didn’t know of the plan to kill him she would have driven her car into a tree to stop her “friend” from killing any child! She knew and she was complicit. She just kept driving as he was killed. Horrible. It makes me so sick to think of the fear in this poor little boy.

You are so right Suzanne was just as complicit in Scotty's abduction & murder as Stephanie. It was never going to be good especially as she would have known how her friend felt about Scotty!

Well, the child did come home to her when he stayed with her father. If you dont believe that she is going to kill him, and you think the boy will be treated right and the only person scared in the situation would be the father, it is a bad prank is all. I am not defending her. I mean, when she saw her kill him, She could have stopped the car and helped the boy there. Or even if by any chance (which I cannot imagine) it wasnt possible, then immediately after the body was buried, she should have gone to the police. THAT was her biggest crime, not the abduction per say.
The person I would have liked to see fined and reprimanded was the secretary (and the school itself) who released the kid of an acrimonious divorce to an unknown person without conforming with either of the parents. if she had just called one of them, none of this would have happened.

I had a friend who knew a child was being molested and chatted about it with her friend for 6 months and never notified authorities because they were friends. The day she told me was the day I called the police. I was shocked when my friend of 13 years told me I violated our friendship by calling the police. The police were called and I remember coming out the school with her boyfriend and the police waiting at the gates. I was only 5 and was told by the officer I could sit in the police car and hear the sirens and wear his police hat, I loved it. I only found out years later and to this day I’m terrified to think what could have happened to me. Schools are locked these days. You need a list of authorisation. This is heartbreaking. I can't help but wonder whether the school was held accountable at all. A quick call to any of his parents would have spared the life of this little boy.
Also, what kind of friend will not only witness their friend kill an innocent child with their bare hands and then determine to keep that secret to forever? Ain't no friendship or relationship worth me losing my freedom and most importantly my conscience.

We really need to start educating our children about domestic violence in schools as soon as kindergarten and/or preschool. Obviously it’s not going to be taught at home if the home is dysfunctional itself.

My child was 3 in preschool! I would never have wanted her to be taught about "domestic violence" at that age especially at school. Definitely too young to understand. We teach our kids not to hit. That's a start.

This reminded me of an equally terrible case I read about from Palm Beach County, FL back in the 90s. A young boy was killed by his proverbial 'evil stepmother' after enduring years of horrific attacks & abusive punishments at her hands. Some neighbors actually observed her abusing him but said nothing because the stepmother threatened their lives. The father was often on the road as a truck driver and a lot of the abuse took place behind his back. The child drowned in the family's backyard pool and the stepmother was eventually put on trial for child abuse and homicide. Evil Stepmother Jessica Schwarz even tried to get her 2 daughters to lie to investigators in order to protect herself. In 1993 she was found guilty in 2 separate trials (different trials for different crimes) and effectively got life in prison. I believe she died in prison, in 2014.

My ex was jealous of our baby son. He had an affair with a woman 12 years younger than him. In marriage counselling he admitted the jealousy and that he didn’t like it that I was breastfeeding.
My workplace ( a prominent General Hospital) provided the counsellor. I’ve always wondered why she said the affair was just a ‘ slip’ and didn’t think it was a serious betrayal.
He continued to cheat and I eventually asked for a divorce.
Years later I found out the province where I live does not demand that counsellors be registered. If you have a history degree and never studied psychology you could become a counsellor!
He married that woman and my son always came home from a weekend visit crying and saying he didn’t like going to his Dad’s new home which was miles away.
Even my Mother-in-law told me to keep my son away from my ex husband’s partner.
I listened to my gut. His Dad didn’t care about our son as a mature man would. He gave me little money to raise my son. He just didn’t love him. This selfish behaviour has deeply affected my son and how my son looks at life. The hurt is deep. Some men remain unable to mature properly. I feel it’s a learning disorder that was never diagnosed.
