Yes. I am a very passive person but even I, on a few occasions, have jumped into situations that were 'none of my business' to rescue a helpless person. Nothing gets me riled up except cruelty and injustice; I will not be passive or quiet and am more than willing to 'make a scene' to stop it! I would have grabbed that girl from the clutches of this 'glamorous' witch in a second had I seen any of this going on.

Her abusers weren't just 'sick' in the had, it's part of their culture.
Most immigrants from Third World nations, especially from Muslem countries are very superstitious and thanks to their religions that will never, ever change.
These days we look at the 'witch hunts' in Europe & in the U.S.A. and shake our heads.
But in very poor places everywhere on this planet people hold on to traditions and religions like they are life jackets, saving them from the misery of their existence.
Actually it's the opposite, religions infantelize and weaponize people, keeping them braindead and small.
Like that deranged c*nt, it' s easier to blame others for your shortcomings in life than change the things holding you back.
That's why certain regions of the world will never develope into something worth mentioning and certain human beings will stay losers.
First World nations and other forms of elites do a lot of shady things to protect their wealth, but the lazy and uneducated among us make it really easy for them to keep the rest of us at the bottom of the pyramid.

How do you call the police on a bonfire in someone’s backyard, but not a girl that’s obviously being physically and mentally abused? These people have so much to say now that Sophie’s dead, you can only imagine how much gossiping was going around when she was still alive. But they did nothing to help her. Yes, the guilt ultimately lies with those that tortured and killed her, but this ‘community’ failed Sophie. They could have saved her. And that’s something they’re going to carry with them forever.

the man in the chip shop tried to help Sophie out of there by paying for a plane ticket or getting her a different job, but it wasn't enough. Should he have called the police? Yes, but based on what? her account that she was beat one time should be enough, but who knows if it really would have been. A tragic case, if only the police had found out what had been going on there sooner or she would have managed to escape. Normally, our gut instinct ends up being right because, just like other kinds of animals, we have the fight or flight response and when there's danger of some kind, normally we sense it, which is our gut instinct. This is not a bad thing! They are not saying she is glamorous because of her actions but purely based on her physical appearance and the way she carried and styled herself outwardly. But this is actually important to emphasis because many many people think that attractive people can’t do such bad things. Whether it be outright or just subconsciously, it’s very prevalent. But a person’s physical appearance does not indicate what is in their soul.

If it were easy to remove oneself from these horrific situations, then why can’t many victims of abuse easily escape? They have been so mentally, emotionally, & physically abused to a point of feeling hopelessness and helplessness. These monsters who abuse vulnerable people know this so they exploit them. That’s how it’s easy for these monsters to abuse people. They are predators who look for victims who can they easily manipulate. People from all walks of life can be abused.
