Overland 4x4 Astro van gets custom front suspension work

Decided I wanted to go a little further with the suspension on my van so I've started fabbing up custom control arms for it. The vans front suspension has only ever just worked and not impressed me so we are trying a different direction with extended control arms. working on it again has gotten me pretty excited for some big trips in spring!

You seem to be the only one I've seen extend the travel on these vans. Have you noticed an improvement off-road as far as being able to take things a little bit faster without bottoming? Or is the difference in feel negligible?

what side mirrors did you use on that van? is there any major modification required for that conversion?

I want to say either 2014 or 16 Silverado, you need to trim some on the pillar, drill new mounting holes, and rewire them, so I wouldn't say too major!
