    I have never seen the net wrapper before so it was so cool to see it in use and then you took it up a notch and showed how to make it from scratch! Amazing! And wow, this looks like the best tasting spring roll recipe ever! Thanks for such a unique recipe, Helen.

    Chị ơi, bánh tráng đó ở quê em người ta dùng cái lon, đục lỗ bé bé , nhiều lỗ lắm. Đổ bột vô lon rồi quơ 2 lượt qua chảo là thành cái bánh tráng rế đó chị. :D Ko cần dùng tay ạ.

    Hi with this wrap we better using the air fryer to fry. The nem will come out perfectly I tried before and it's so delicious. You should make another video with the air fryer oven. :-)

      Are you serious? Well, cabbage is stinky, but it's extremely nourishing. I had a problem with ulcers and forced myself to make and drink raw cabbage juice daily and they disappeared permanently. I went on a weight loss diet in the USA and had to eat a lot of raw cabbage, and it was horrible, but I lost 8 pounds in the first week alone. (I'm female and as adults, it's harder for us to lose weight.) maangchi has a good demonstration video up of making kim chi. She uses an Asiatic cabbage -- six pounds of them, in fact -- and it seems to take most of a day to make this stuff, but it keeps for eons. Something like that would probably work with ordinary flat green cabbage. I think you were teasing me with your comment. :)

    helen, i made the last gia gio recipe you made. the taste was awesome but it didn't get crunchy enough. i shallow fried. do i really need to deep fry? i'm filipino so i use to use lumpia wrapper, i wanted to try the rice wrapper like you did. but it wasn't crunchy crunchy.

    Do you omit onion in the filling for any purpose? I bought this rice paper and made it in 2003, it turned out very nice, not like toad skin like in the cooked rolls in your video. How come?

    Em ơi. Em có biết cách làm khô bò ướt mà để ăn chung với gỏi đu đủ không. Chỉ cho anh với nhé. ( anh chỉ biết được là người ta xài phổi hay lá mía của bò).
    Món này bán ở ven đường bên VN. Thèm lắm em ơi.

      You can use 2 layers of the net wrapper at the same time 😊

    Helen I did not know you live in Vietnam. I try to make the wrapper. Instead of making them using your hand, I found out you can use a tin can with small holes and use a tin can from the sardine empty of cost. to make the netted wrapper.

      Thao Chu duoc em ah, ma cho ít thịt thôi vì nhiều thịt quá sẽ khó chín (vì vỏ rế rất dễ chín)

    hey helen! Can you make a recipe for this type of banh that you can commonly get in VN? I don't know if you can get it anywhere in VN but my family's from Saigon and every year we went back to visit, I always eat it. I don't know the name of it but it's a triangle banh that has a sweet taste to it, and in the inside, they put hotdog, paté, cha bong, and cheese.

    CHi Hellen oi, EM khong làm được bánh rế, khi nhúng tay vào bột để cho bột vào chảo thì bột rớt xuống từng giọt từgn giọt chứ không thành từng đường criss-cross nhu trong video clip của chị
    CHị cho em biet tai sao . Mặc dù em pha bột theo recipe của chị . Cam ơn chị

      henry ko bot của em bị lỏng rồi. Có thể dụng cụ đo nước của em ko chinh xac lam. Lần sau em cho it nuoc lai 1 ti, hoặc lỡ bị lỏng thi cho thêm bột vào
