2023 KTM 125sx 250sx 300sx modified stock ECU!! PART 1

- I was able to source a tuner who has successfully modified the ECU for the 23’ SX line for the 125, 250, and 300.
Once I get some seat time on it and dyno it I will post some real test results but upon first fire up, this bike sounds amazing and totally snappy!
I will be offering this service very soon!
My son is going with his -24 sx125 and with Hgs system and ktm racing map andit works nice.
Will any day now get the new top kit with akra system from Ktm and then their new map for that and see how it will do. (should do big difference i hear)
But 125 is more for my son that is 15, for me 250 and up works solid. :)
That bike looks awesome!! I'm really looking forward to how it works on the 300SX. I was lucky enough find one a month ago and we've had about 8 feet of snowfall since then, its only idled in the garage. I bought the FMF pipe and silencer for it as well. I can't wait to ride it!

Great news that there will be tunes and fixes coming! Picking up my 300sx Friday and I’m hoping it will run good out of the box. What are your thoughts on fuel? In my 20’ 250sx I run 50/50 av/pump at 60:1 and it works well. Should I go same here? Not a fan of pump fuel

So Lee, make sure you have the dealer update the latest and greatest mapping before you take it, the new map ends in 1004. This will help with the running condition as well as the fi light coming on if you bump the start button while it's running, it won't throw a code.
The 250/300 both run about 205 cold psi, I feel that the spec'd 91 oct for these (250/300 @60/1, the 125 are 93 oct and 40/1), is too low, especially for aggressive riders.
I know all the dealers and KTMUSA is spec'ing what the manual says but that is just too low of an octane rating IMO. A lot of guys are running a cut of C12 or VP110, or VPR, (which is slightly oxygenated), and 93 to get around 101 or so oct to avoid detonation, which is real and it occurs alot with these.
Im running T2 and it feels snappy right now for sure.

Try the boyesen radvalve I used it on my 2019 tx 300 beat rye stock set up and vforce . Better quality than the others

i am worried that my purchase of the first year model was a bad decision, the top end power cutting off is really noticeable and i’d like for it to keep pulling like carbureted models

The tune library is almost done for the 250/300, the testing is based off the pv being opened a little earlier to there is better flow out the exh and it will smooth it out. You want a full HGS exhaust system or Doma. American pipes sound crap and aren’t as well developed.
Bolt a VHM HEAD on and 12 degree double ring piston.
I have that VHM set up right now on the bench and did another video on what it is...Im a Doma dealer but they are hard to get shipped!!!

Tune library being built as we speak, the 125 was first bc it needed it, 250 is being done now, 300 in the next two weeks.

Anyone ever have the 23 125 cut out and shut off on a face of a jump. Ours has done it 2 times now, on the same jump.
That has happened to a few guys here and there, I suspect a fuel pump issue on some of these..we will see, and I hope we don't find out the hard way!
