Habits to be in thriving mode ( not surviving)
1.Self care
A. Mental( mind)
_ journalling
_ therapy if needed
B. Emotional
_ knowing emotions are valid
_ processing and feeling the emotions, handling the emotions
C. Physical( give ur body what it needs)
_ nutrition
_ adequate movements and rest
D. Environmental (space around u )
_ physical , digital, mental declutter
_ make every thing works and floes for u
E. Spiritual
_ connect to ur WHY and purpose nd ur reason for being in ur life
F. Recreational
_ making time for ur hobbies, things u love doing, learning
G. Social
_ close, happy, healthy relationships
_ connect with people that matter to you
2. Work life balance
_ 1st life, then work
_ 1 week a day to completely block out the work
_ create work hours ( eg: 8 to 6)
_ mindset shift, effort, efficiency, _smart work not hard work
3. Planning in joy
_ schedule some fun activities in weekends, every week, monthly
- plan joy and fun into ur daily, small activities
4. Planning
_plan ur days, weeks, months
_ to do lists, time blocking, do what works for you
_ make a ritual at the start of every day, week, month to plan out what is coming ahead eg: reflecting on every month end/ every Sunday and planning out the month, what u need to do/ appointments/ goals for that month/week, at the start of everyday make to do lists, what u need to do and complete that day
_ declutters ur mind, need not remember everything, keeps u free and keeps u on top of the game, free space for other things, no worrying
5. Habits or things that will make ur life easier
_ meal prepping,
_ ordering ur groceries
_ creating a cleaning routine etc
_ look at what areas are u struggling with and make habits to make them easier eg : healthy soups and snacks ahead of time to avoid fast foods
*** not just focussing on big goals or things but also focus on just leveling up the quality of ur life

I rarely leave comments but... You sound so sincere, so genuine, and down-to-earth! More popular channels look like they have such a perfect life that they don't look human: they're alienating. You don't, though! :)
This comment means so much! I am creating my dream life and I want to inspire everybody to do the samen but that does not mean that I am perfect and I never want to come across that way. It's by understanding our flaws and knowing that other's lives are not perfect that we can become kinder towards ourselves. Self compassion is the start of change and the fact that you can see that I'm not acting like I have the perfect life really means the world 💕
I think a work-life balance is extremely important.
As a student in America, I was not spending too much time on work, but too much time on life. I was not turning in all of my work, and I was constantly procrastinating. This year I want to get back on track, and avoid all the stress that I caused myself.
I love this! Nobody talks about to much living life and I do think it can be a trap as well. I definitely fell into this when I was a student as well. I hope you can find your balance again ☺️

similar to you, i have always had issues with prioritizing school over EVERYTHING else. my family, my friends, my health- everything was neglected just so i could “succeed”. i’ve become aware that grades and school aren’t THAT important- and that life should be lived, not just allowed to fly by.
i found this video really helpful, and though it seems overwhelming and a bit daunting now, i know that these changes will make my life better:)

I love your voice!! Great video👍🏼I’m still trying to journal every day but it’s hard bc I feel like I don’t like confronting my own feelings(?) like I would rather not deal with it at all and just...do whatever I gotta do 😭
Oh yes, I feel this. Facing your feelings isn't alway easy. It's kind of the idea that it needs to get worse before it get's better. When it comes out and you deal with it, in the moment it feels bad but afterwards life will become lighter. That said, if you are dealing with trauma that really affects your mental health you might need some guidance trough this from a therapist for example.
I struggle with this too. Some great advice I received is “time is going to pass anyway” meaning the days and years will pass and it’s up to you whether you want to spend them staying comfortable and prolonging your pain OR spend them improving so your future is more wholesome. I hope it helps!

It's a beets and apple soup. I just put potatoes to make it a little more filling. Then add heaps of dill and it's such a refreshing and comforting soup ✨

Sadly yes I do. I mean sure people have it worse but I do struggle with anxiety and I go through periods of multiple panic attacks per day and depressive episodes. It's not because I don't show you that on camera that it doesn't exist. I'm doing much better now and I know I am very lucky to be in that position but it's not always sunshine and rainbows 😮💨
