Well that feeling you get playing to a crowd, the stage, the excitement, having them scream and sing back your lyrics...that's why because when your up there none of that shit matters! Seeing slayer for the 1st time already grown up and slayer was of my father's era but of course he introduced me to slayer, but I never really quite appreciated them enough until I saw them live. Not even mocking religion in any way at all, but it was like a f****** spiritual awakening the whole night. I had 0 worries. Anxiety gone.
Man. This is perfect. They recognize that the fast parts ad the slow parts individually make the song better and they play the fast parts faster and the slow parts slower than the studio version to hit you harder instead of just going full on faster the whole way (looking at you, metallica.)
Remembered walking at Long Beach Arena when Slayer started playing these two darn awesome songs and started running like a maniac in the isles to only being chased by 6 - 8 securities dudders so to stop me. They did not kick me out so I did it again and again... until I had like 5 of them on top of me trying to submit me... then I was escorted to my sits, dude Good times!

Saw Misfits reunion tour in Chicago and Newark and both times had great stage views I was close and got to watch Lombardo drum and the man is oozing with badass skill and talent was fucking treat!!
I'm sure Tom blew his vocal cords before also. Every professional musician has at one point. Blowing your voice isn't a permanent injury in 99% of cases. Majority of people blow their voice at live concerts screaming and singing, and they're fine again within a few days to a week.
