- In this video I start with randomly choosing a card from my "Art Poetry for Insights and Inspiration" card deck. I discuss my most recent art projects and where my inspiration has come from. We start a little collage palette book on folder paper. I show how I tear my painted papers and use them to create new ideas in my art journal.
I finish the video by flipping through a beautiful book by Jessica Swift, called "Radiant Rainbows". I also show a little demo of using paint pens and creating a small rainbow and an inspiring word in my art journal.

I put a comment on another RUclips channel the other day and completely misspelt vocabulary, I added an l in volcabulary. 😂 what a word to get incorrect😊. These things happen, especially when we're tired.
It was interesting getting to see the watercolour board. I'm nowhere near ready for canvas or board, but it's so interesting to hear about these things.
Love your content, as always. Glad you had a lovely spring break. We're still on Easter school break here in the UK, it's lovely having my daughter at home with me for companionship, but I am looking forward to school return and refocusing on learning art.
I totally relate to the lady who wrote the radiant rainbows book. 🌈 I turned to learning watercolour and since got really interested in mixed media ever since experiencing my own trauma. Wish I had done it sooner. Focusing your attention on creativity instead of pain and loss is so important. 💚

I couldn't believe I had my letters mixed up with spelling "strength"... so funny, but yes, when I am tired I do all sorts of things... I'm helping my son with his letters and words now too- and many are transposed... so I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!
