Hi, l found a box of gel food coloring in cupboard and used it in spray bottles, it worked really well, the colours stayed really vibrant. Loving your papers ❤

Wow that's a great idea! I just spent £20 on 12 spray inks (without the spray pen thing), thinking I cud use them in spray bottles rather than a spray gun....maybe 8 shuda tried with food colour first lol! Cool idea tho, imagine it'd be good in fabric as well. Thanks! Frotle, your the best!
Hi, I do the same. I buy boxes of food colouring in multi colours - it's SO much cheaper than ink. As you say, put it in spray bottles, and top it up with water, it goes a long way.
Thank you colour craft sisters. I washed a piece of clothing which bleed. The water was saturated with colour . I wondered if I could use it. Water colour paper may soak it up. ❤ Keep up the great work. I enjoy watching you. Thank you 💐

After watching this video, I remembered that I had some rolls of different types of rice paper that I had stashed away somewhere. I found them and will be making collage papers out of them now. Thank you for all the great ideas.

Froyle I have got to tell you about something I discovered while playing in my journal.
I used the gold metallic Pin a t a s alcohol ink. and I just did some little design on tracing paper by hand . A Chinese symbol for example. After its dried, I put some Uhu glue down on my journal page and I accidently placed the tracing paper with the gold ink design on it face down w/ the metallic gold ink facing down onto uhu glue on the journal page. I Smooth it down in place and thats when i realized it was face down! So i gently pulled the tracing paper off journal to turn it over to ink side up. (because it was still not dry) But when I lifted it up the pinatas gold metallic ink had transferred to the journal page Just like it was gold leaf . Release itself nicely from the tracing paper! AMAZING DISCOVERY!
it was a nice thin vellum type tracing paper that does not tear like tissue paper.
Omg I can wait to do so much more with this process I stumbled on through play . AMAZING 👏 you got to try it. The gold ink design stayed on the journal paper. It was better than gold leaf bc no mess just a sharp image transfer

On a serious note, I think Asian coins would make wonderful focals with some of your papers! Have you seen Cathleens early collage vid where she used a stick with twine tied to it & an object dangling from it? Its wonderful (but i don't remember what it was lol) just remembered it would be great with an Asian coin with a hole in the center! Just fodder for thought! LOL!😁❤❤💌❤

I'm not getting the prompts lately on RUclips, when you're doing a video😢 Anyway, I wanted to tell you, I've been getting table runners on TEMU and they're superb for using in artwork. The best one is the gold foil. They do all sorts of foil colours, and I always think of you when I cut them up, to use in collage. Take care, xx❤❤😊😊

Hmmm. Am thinking of doing this on a smaller scale on my glass top table out on my apartment patio. I can staple plastic garbage bags to the wood fencing.

Did I miss something etching here? First you said to separate the pages before they dry or they will stick and then said don’t move them until they are dry and they came apart fine. Were they two different types of paper?
You separate the papers when they are wet, put them on plastic, then don’t move them until they are dry! 👍🏼 cheers
I have some leaves of mulberry paper. Can I use them with this technique? And then use them for decoupage.When you say in this video that you use rice paper (not the bottom part), do you mean sketch paper?
I mean Japanese rice paper & Chinese rice paper it is super thin 👍🏼 cheers
