The amount of turmeric which we consumer normally, while cooking, is perfectly safe. But if you take high concentrations in large quantities its not safe. All plants have developed a defense mechanism to protect itself against microbes. These are natural chemicals that the plants have developed through evolution. Spices are especially those plants which have a higher concentration of these chemicals. So consuming them in small quantities will provide anti microbial benefits for you. But large quantities of the same chemical which kills the microbe, will start harming your body.

The report highlights the importance of third-party testing for safety. Based on the report, some recommended brands that are considered safe include Optimum Nutrition, MuscleBlaze, and MyProtein. Faye emphasizes that consumers should look for brands that provide transparency and have their products tested by independent labs
Shame on the researchers, the Indian media and the influencers who are demonizing these brands when there is actually nothing wrong with them, even if you refer to the research itself. This research is not done by people who are experienced in protein testing. The heavy metals found are also in the safe range. There are so many flaws in this research you'll need to make an entire video on that itself

Protien powders are not regulated in the world. Lets take protien from the fiod directly and not rely on powders which can be adulterated and containminated
Very knowledgeable speaker. Well handled
I'm glad you liked it!
Please ask about Nveda Brand which is sold online
From where we can get those research reports
news
Very informative and eye opening! We live in a world that is becoming highly adulterated!
Thank you Doctor for opening our eyes regarding the protein powders
allopathic drugs also have the risk of side effects in long run ,for chronic diseases and elderly people, one disease goes away the other comes in.
Right... absolutely...no checks n no research on frequently prescribed medications... pathetic..
All of their side effects are well recorded and documented. Patients have the right to know those side effects when they get prescribed
@@maniparmar3393all modern medicine doctors have well documented side effects properly published.
no such thing as allopathy anymore. allopathy is a homeopathy of the west from the 1800s. uss time bhi woh kuch bhi karte the.
and elderly people will always have problems. they are elderly
@@akshayde The moment someone mentions the word Allopathy, I know they have no idea about modern medicine.
Which brand is good for kids protein supplements
I am just in shock. I dont take any suppliment i.e neither dairy nor plant based but worried about other ppl who might be consuming those.
Which one is safe?
Can someone highlight the benefits or disadvantages of taking spirulina?
If u listen to the video till the end, He is not against coke and other sweet drink, but he is against green tea, herbal and everything else.
Fay should definitely invite an ayurveda specialist to contradict these statements as this is one sided conversation and we as Indian have grown up listening to benefits of turmeric, chandan, etc etc.
Everything cannot be called wrong and fake by one person and believed.
Very true, ayurvedic is far away from nonsense. Those meds are made from Himalayan herbs. If ayurveda is wrong why are gov. national ayurvedic institute are working & also gaining popularity in the world.

Have normal food, measure it and caliberate it as per your nutrition requirements. No need to eat these over the counter supplements. There is always one or the other drama with these things.
I don’t see the names of the protein brand companies anywhere in the study. I sure would like to know
Muscle Blaze, Optimum Nutrition and Muscle Tech are apparently the only ones accurately reporting protein content. Other popular brands like Nakpro and Nutrabay werent tested but in an another report a couple of years ago Nakpro's reported protein was found to be accurate too.
Bro is muscleblaze good or bad
@@alexthana9944 Its good
@@alexthana9944 It's good. Watch the video or reas the paper to confirm
Is Optimum nutrtion indian brand?
And what about nutrabay???
nutrabay is a good brand?
Informative and debunking. A truth that needs telling.
I have been consuming ASITIS unflavored whey concentrate for 4 years 2 scoops a day, not a single issue till now. I religiously drink 3 liter water per day and workout 6 days per week + 1 day of swimming.
what about Muscle Tech Whey protein ? is it safe ?
Ask madam whether millets are good to replace rice and wheat
Yes.
The brand are listed in links of the study if you take the time to look.
If this report is true and correct This needs to be in mainstream media and corrections to be taken immediately
Is labdoor a good yardstick for quality ?
What is doctor's take on spirulina
How to access the paper??
We need to know which brands are unsafe
2000 year old ayurvedic concoction
So which paper carries this list of safe protein
Even the research on ayurvedic supplements can be incorrect..
Faye, great interviewer. Subscribed.

Same question bro?
You Didnt name specific brands in the paper.
Look for supplementary attachment
Why they did not share which products are safe ?

Faye D'Souza's video discusses a report on protein powders in India, revealing that many contain harmful substances like heavy metals, pesticides, and bacteria. The report highlights the importance of third-party testing for safety. Based on the report, some recommended brands that are considered safe include Optimum Nutrition, MuscleBlaze, and MyProtein. Faye emphasizes that consumers should look for brands that provide transparency and have their products tested by independent labs
Eye Opener Changed my perspective thanks Dr Abby and Faye.
Please tell about Oziva Plant Protein?
So which one should we use !?
How is GNC and Myprotein?
You are a nutritionist . You need to read a detailed report.

Shame on the researchers, the Indian media and the influencers who are demonizing these brands when there is actually nothing wrong with them, even if you refer to the research itself. This research is not done by people who are experienced in protein testing. The heavy metals found are also in the safe range. There are so many flaws in this research you'll need to make an entire video on that itself
is optimum nutrition gold standard save which whey protein is safe
Then, how it's showing in labels internationally cerfied and Clinically Tested?
