An admirable sojourn and very much enjoyed. Shows what a beautiful country in which we are fortunate to live. Thank you for the excellent film and commentary. Tremendous !
Who the hell thumbs down quality like this?? It’s beyond me. Thank you for bringing me on your journey Sandy. Brilliant video 😎 atb
Your new nickname is 5 star Sandy! Thanks for sharing the trip with us! Great job putting this together, so professional! Your more fun than Sir Richard Attenborough. lol.

Although I don't know Sandy personally. What a nice guy.... I really like him.
Enjoyed that, great walking, views, and camping....well done on the 4th time Sandy :-)
I did not know about this channel Sandy, I only knew about the knife channel. I am in awe over your feat, accomplishing this long hike with your good friend Tony. You are in incredible shape. You are an inspiration to me. Seeing you do this has inspired me to go 1000 yards from 500. I know I can do it and I will. This happens to be a second chance at life. I will take full advantage and succeed. I’ve had a long recovery and feel ready after watching this video to take the next step. Thank you very much. Tony
Good on you Tony
Just finished watching...loved this video...these and your wild camping adventures are my favourites... thanks for sharing 😀
Well done guys.... brilliant!
Goodness; what a video. I love the camaraderie, and your knowledge of the areas in which you hike. The drone photography and music choices contributed to making this video enthralling; so well done...it will be quite a while before I am finished sharing this to everyone. In my humble opinion, this is a new standard of RUclips hiking videos. All I can say is "Thanks!". :) Greetings from Georgia, USA.
Nice film , you're one of nature's gentlemen it's always a pleasure to see you enjoying one of your many hobbies
Awesome accomplishment.... Again! Congratulations!
What an avid fellow outdoorsman and admirably to be emulated!
Well done Tim, great achievement and it's only onwards and upwards now you've started the adventure.
Joe's spread though, that was something else! Great journey as ever, it's a pleasure to tag along from the armchair
Thanks Sandy for yet another super brilliant vid of the Ridgeway, you are such an inspiration even for us older codgers! And the twist on how we think about our endeavours at the end of the walk was just about perfect, the norm now is being at the start of a new adventure and not the end of the last one......outstanding!! Regards Clive
Thanks for taking us along Sandy.
Lovely walk thanks for sharing
Thanks for a fantastic Sunday morning adventure Sandy, there may be snow on the roof of some of us old guys but the fire is still burning hot and bright. looking forward to your next outing. Cheers!

What beautiful weather you had, I remember well watching your last trip on that route, nice job on the video and thanks.
Cheers for the Video Sandy - yet another cracking perspective of the Ridgeway walk. Good to see the backup crew providing sticky buns for much needed sustenance.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing Sandy! Can’t wait to see Tim finish the trail. Very inspiring!
This has been a very enjoyable film! I got so many things to comment upon that I just don't.. ..except that I have a cat, that's normally very lovable, except when you pick her up.. ..she turns into something that looks just like that chinook.
Cheers, I'm looking forward to more of your adventures..
Though I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your adventures, this one is one of my favorites. Thank you so much for taking the time to record and share. This is just great...and trail magic from a trail angel! Love and respect...Happy Earth Day!
Now that was some fancy trail magic! Well done hoopedbivi, very cool. You could tell the fellas enjoyed that! Great video Sandy!!!
Great video mate, thanks for sharing. I feel inspired to get out on a day hike with the family👍
That was wonderful! Beautiful footage, too. I loved the dew covered spider's web and the misty morning on the last day.
Excellent X Well done all. Great to see Tim doing as much as he could and being brave enough to do it and brave enough to know when he needed to stop X Fantastic walk and camp X
Hey Sandy. Thank you for sharing. You have inspired me to follow your journey later this year
Great video as always. It says a great deal about you that you have such fantastic friends. Looking forward to seeing Tim complete the Ridgeway. I am confident he will with your support.
Wow, great trek there Sandy. To have done that 4 times is an absolutely amazing accomplishment that you should be very proud of. It takes a lot of determination and dedication to fight through the steep inclines and declines and rough terrain for 87 miles. Thanks so much for taking your cameras with you to share this great experience with us. Take care my friend and enjoy those beautiful outdoors. You have some great friends there to hike with you.
Awesome Sandy, I really admire your enthusiasm and get up and go. You're an inspiration.
Many thanks for taking us along with you Sandy.

This was fabulous thanks. Looking to do the ridgeway in August. These videos have been my recce. Outstanding thanks
Really good well done 🤗
That video clip at 17:30 - classic, lol
When you mentioned the pill boxes it reminds me of when I pointed one out to my wife many years ago and she honestly thought they were like some sort of old rural pharmacy which didn't have very big windows. She doesn't watch war films......
Its great you have water taps along the route for walkers.
Groovy.
Only just caught up with this video.
Looks like a great trip Sandy. Its nice to see a network of people willing to support you guys with food, water and supplies!

I love the historical feel of your hikes in the U.K.. Thanks for another great video.
Gives a lovely flavour of the walk. A shame about the lack of water. It’s on my bucket list.
Epic hike Sandy , fair play to you all. Excellent video . Might have to give your area a try. Thanks for sharing. Atb from Darren in Gloucestershire.

Great video Sandy!!! Its very motivating, we have so much to see in this greenland we drive past everyday. I will walk The Ridgeway one day, hopefully 😁.
Was rooting for Tim, hopefully he can walk the route next time, something to complete his weight loss journey. Much respect to him!!

Great Video Sandy...thank you for sharing
I've wild camped at Segsbury too. I lived in Oxford for a time and would catch the bus to Wantage and walk up to the Ridgeway from the town.., often trudged the path of perpetual chalk from there down to Avebury. Great film again.
good on you Sandy , , enjoyed the trip , thanks for sharing :-)
Thank you for the adventure set me up for the week 😊
Thanks for sharing, it was great!
Excellent achievement lads, great video, well done Tim & Richard for their walk, I'm sure there'll be another time. Good to see Joe with the surprise "Chuck Wagon" & Tony's wife too. Good wishes.......Les

A very very good watch Sandy 👌. Big thumbs up for Joe hooped bivi wild camper and Tony's wife for the life saving refreshments 👍👍. Thanks for sharing Sandy and well done gents. Atb Sconja 👍
Nice one Sandy. Four down , one to go eh ? Great to see number four completed ... And... kudos to Tim (and the other guys) for nailing down what they did.
Some lovely Scenery, our country is amazing. I had a laugh when he pointed out Didcot Power Station. I work on the Railway and we used to load Coal in Bulk, at Liverpool Docks for Didcot, back in the day.
Same for me, I work at Royal Portbury and the bulkers carrying the coal for Didcot payed us well...all gone now unfortunately!
@@PillSharks Your right there mate. Fiddlers Ferry is getting knocked down, this year or early next. When I think how busy it used to be.
Stephen Smith yes, we went from having regular bulk carriers for Didcot and sometimes Dracks power station to nothing, like I said, it’s hit us the pocket slightly but luckily the port always finds something to replace lost trade!
My father was asking me the other month about Kingsnorth powers station in Medway, kent, he worked on the chimney and had to climb it free hand, a bloke he was with was killed at the top after something fell on him and they had to leave his body up there until the next day, that’s also been pulled down and he couldn’t believe it after all the effort of building the place!
Lovely light and colour at the first sight of the R. Thames.☆ Gymnosophie, Erik S..
140 KM ,well done . Another fantastic video really enjoyed watching . Your commentary is so good and your voice is really easy to listen too . looking forward to seeing you and your mate completing the Ridgeway .
Yet another great video Sandy.... cheers from Canada
Tim is an inspiration Sandy for two reasons. He braved the pain but allowed it to be known also. Good on you Tim. Well Joe was a boon and the Shinnook another sign that friendship was in your midst. I always use the bars on my long walks Sandy....easy and light! Of course mix fruits are also good. Well, I bet it was nice to go back over the lay of the land and history. Certainly their was plenty of it. Good on you both and Tim for showing. Full play - All the best. Mark
Well done Sandy, another great video.
loved watching the video Sandy, well done
Excellent video, just the thing as I am stuck in the Chicago burbs at the mo and The Ridgeway looks highly appealing. I love your approach to life Sandy, have an up vote on me!
That ending made me laugh ! - interesting vid thanks !
Well done , thanks for walking the Ridgeway Path and showing us part of the English countryside , i don't think i'm fit enough for a 90 ml walk but glad you to are :-)
A wonderful forty one minutes of viewing, through some lovely countryside us townies never knew existed. Well done to all and who needs Judith Chalmers ...ATB.
Awesome job again,Sandy
Great trip thanks for the story of the hike.
Philip here, fellow hiker and wild camper. Just watched your vid, love the way you all get on together.
Can I recommend Sole-Mates liquid gel insoles to you. I've worn them in my boots on all my hikes and never had foot troubles or aching feet at the end of the day. They gently massage my feet with every step so aiding blood circulation.
Regards Philip.
Inspirational video Sandy, thank you. ATB
Hi! During the latter 1950's I made a part of the RAF Trade test and had to climb down the outside of the Sparsholten Tower . Had to use wellington boots and a leather jerkin. The safety rope guy kept pulling hard on the rope it was an effort to climb downwards . Best Wishes, nice video to watch and learn from.Thankyou.
